I showed the woman multiple inspiration pictures to give them options and she chose the one attached. I thought this meant she was confident she would be able to do the design. I noticed when she was filing down my previous design, she left bits of the previous color on the sides. After the service was done I compared the inspo pic and my nails and they look nothing alike. I'd rather just have honesty that they are unable to do designs rather than paying $85 for a crappy version. All my nails were crooked and uneven and I had to file them myself. I had a ton of hangnails. The nail tech told me she was new but moved from salon to salon and had been doing nails for a "very long time", I'm not so sure about that. At checkout, I noticed I had been charged an additional $7 fee that I had never been charged during any of my previous appointments. The fee was also never mentioned to me before or during my service. When I questioned the charge, I was told that the fee is on their menu and that they had simply "forgotten" to charge me for it on all of my previous visits. As a regular customer receiving the same service, I found that explanation frustrating. If I had supposedly been charged incorrectly for months, I would expect that to be communicated to me before performing the service and adding a new charge at checkout. It's not about $7. It's about transparency and consistency. Customers should know what they are going to be charged before a service is performed, particularly when they are regular clients receiving the same service they've received many times before. I had been happy enough with this salon to continue returning since May, but the way this was handled left me disappointed and uncomfortable, and I won't be returning. The vibe is just not good .

Rossy (follow her on IG @justfab_nails) is my one and only go-to nail technician. I've been seeing her for years now, and come to think of it, I found her and this amazing salon when they first opened their doors years ago by guess who? Yelp of course! Rossy has helped take care of my nails, does quality nail cleaning, and a great job with gel application. Her prices are very reasonable and her services, top notch. Nail services are by appointment only (text her, it's the best way to get in touch with her and schedule an appointment as she doesn't answer her phone if she's with a client). During your appointment you can expect dedicated time to you and only you. Care is taken and she never rushes. I've always found my visits very relaxing and I can focus on myself for the moment. There's a great selection of nail and gel polishes. I'm a huge fan of her selection of glitters, metallics, and nude colors. Sometimes I feel like matting and others, high gloss - Rossy has got it all. Parking can be a bit tough if your appointment is around 9a or 10-ish because of other businesses, so prepare in advance to get there early. It's towards the end of the building. I looked at the first salon... it's older and had a lot of guys in there... because it has barber shop services, too. Hmmm... The young gal at Twinkle Nails & Spa was in the middle of an eyelash extension appointment. She said that no one was here to do pedicures and referred me to the older shop at the beginning of the building. I told her that I didn't feel comfortable there. She offered to call someone over from that shop to work here! Yes, please! Twinkle Nails & Spa seems like it has been renovated. It's bright, clean, and modern.
