Wish I would have read the reviews before coming. Called for appointments for 2 people and arrived on time. There was not even standing room inside and one of us got sat 30 minutes after appointment and my significant other never got sat after an hour and gave up. While staff was friendly they were not efficient. A very bad experience. read more

5 stars for the pedicure and the amazing people! Huge shout-out to Anna and Lily for their incredible service! This was the best pedicure I've had in my entire life! Yes, it was my first one ever--but still!! LOL! My wife, who's had a ton of pedicures, even said Nails Design was hands down THE BEST. Big thanks to our Aunty Twinny for the recommendation! This past Saturday, I planned a casual pampering day for my wife. She's all about pedicures and had been complaining about needing one for a while. Me? I'm not really into the whole mani, pedi, massage scene -- having people touch me is sooo not my thing. I'd rather spend my money on food, to be honest, lol. #TRUTH. I originally booked with another salon because of their good Yelp ratings, but after chatting with my wife's Aunty, an avid pedi fan, she warned us that the place rushes customers out when they're busy. That's exactly what I wanted to avoid, especially for my first time. She recommended Nails Design instead, saying, "They no rush you; they take their time." And Aunty wasn't lying! Haha Our pedicures lasted a full hour! We both went with the most expensive option, which I think was totally worth it for the quality and the time spent. Each pedicure was $60 and included: - Hot water detox crystals with fizzy activator - Exfoliating sugar scrub - Collagen cream mask - Collagen massage lotion - Leg & foot massage - Callus removal - Nail care - Nail polish I'll admit, I was nervous about the callus removal and nail care. I've read some horror stories about other places, complete with terrifying pics! Plus, I was worried about sanitation... and guys... this place is legit. Lily and Anna were super gentle, and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. For my first pedicure, they really eased my nerves and made the whole experience enjoyable. During the time we were there, the place flooded with people. It seemed like there was a substantial amount of regulars -- that's always a good thing to see! If you're looking for great quality at a fair price, I'd definitely give Nails Design a try. The place is small and the parking lot SUCKS, but once you're in, you're golden! I went in today, Sunday and I requested the volcano pedicure. The worker, asked if I wanted my nails trimmed, which I said yes. When it came to do my big toe she was "digging" it so deep, she made me bleeding. Now my toe is thrombing. I told her to stop because it is sore. She told me no and kept on digging my toe. I wiped all the lotion off both my legs and told her she is done! Now I have a bleeding toe. Never going back again, which is ashamed because I used to love this place read more

I come here to see "T" I LOVE her! She is actually my moms nail tech. When my original nail tech from a different salon I needed to find some where else to go and I am so happy my mom referred me back to place, but especially T. She is AMAZING!! She takes her time when doing my pedi and even gentle when pulling out my in grown that I had *crying* bc I cut my nails too short. Ive seen her several times for my full set of nails and pedi, but took a break for awhile and just returned back. The place had a small renovation with new floors and chairs, which are very comfortable and clean. I didnt take any pictures this time as I only did a pedi and I was in a rush. I called T at 10:05 to see if she had any appointments open and requested if I go be there by 1030, u best believe I was there in a jifffy, LOL. Ill be back again for sure! read more

TERRIBLE!!! This lady had the audacity to give herself a $30 tip on my wife's card after she had already received a cash tip!!! She thought she would get away with it but fortunately my wife received a notice on her phone of the recent transaction and the total just didn't add up. She had to drive all the way back to have this squared away. This lady did not even have the decency to face my wife herself and had a coworker take care of everything. Fortunately everything was resolved, sadly it is unlikely that sorry excuse of a "Lady" will face any consequences for her lack of integrity. This will definitely be the last time they receive business from us and we will be spreading the word!!!! Just TERRIBLE!!!! read more

Got my nails done and overcharged for short acrylics. I looked at pricing and it was 55 for acrylics plus 10$+ for design. I got short acrylics with a flower and they charged 90$. So the flower and French cost 35$. The pointer finger is crooked also cut the side of my finger. The nails are cute but definitely not 90$ worth. Would have made more sense if they were a lot longer but they aren't. read more

I regret not asking my nail technician's name. She did amazing. I told her she could do whatever design, I just wanted pink, coffin nails. I love this!!!! I've gotten so many compliments on my nails. I've had these on for a month and not one broke yet. I will go back for a fill soon. These nails are looking to last 5 weeks. This was my first time going. It will not be my last. I got my lashes done 1/19 and started to notice they was itchy and poking, so I went to Cindy and she fixed them right away for me, due to my eye shape we had to take some off but she fixed it all up and even added more lashes to the middle for me to fill it out. She didn't charge me for her time and was so nice about it! Would definitely recommend! read more

Needed to find somewhere open at 9am on a Sunday as my regular place doesn't. First time here, cramp space but they make it work. My understanding, the pedi chairs and floors are a recent change. Nice btw! I was able to walk in. Got a fill and pedi. I'm grateful the girl that did my nails seemed to be a pro and was very fast! The lady who did my pedi took great care of my toes as well. I am here visiting and my daughter and I wanted a place near by to get our nails done as she has only been here a few months. She got a gel mani and pedi and I got a powder dip for my nails. The salon was clean. The nail technicians were polite and did a very nice job on our nails in a timely manner. Pricing was reasonable and as to be expected. Yes, the parking lot is tiny. But when you can sneak into Maui Mike's too it's worth it. 2 walk in pedicures midday Saturday, and we lucked out! Hubby first pedicure and he may be a convert. Fabulous patience, super friendly. And people were pouring in as we were wrapping up. Only negative???? SAME SONG ON REPEAT THE. ENTIRE. TIME! read more

Went during a rush hour, around 4 pm, to get the basic pedicure and manicure. The pedicure was great! Exactly what I wanted. However, had to switch my nail lady because many people were coming in, and she rushed through my nails, never cleaned my cuticles or massaged my hands, and she up charged me for a suboptimal design. Maybe I just went at the wrong time, but not sure if I'll be back. read more

Im writing this review as I sit and wait over an hour for my gel fill. I guess it's partly my fault since I didn't make an appointment. This is my third visit. The first was an early morning walk in during the week. The second was by appointment. This time Friday before noon (note to self make an appointment next time). The parking situation is horrid! Few stalls and they share a space with multiple other merchants which makes it even harder to get a parking space. The workers are friendly for the most part and so far I've been happy with the work. If I wasn't here for over an hour waiting and seeing others that come in after me get taken before me this would be a higher rated review. read more

So they did an ok job my nails look nice however I developed a nail infection in my cuticle bed this is not the first time . The first tile I gave them the benefit of the doubt that maybe just maybe I got a cut from somewhere else or whatever it wasn't that bad a little tenderness and swelling. This time around the side of my cuticle was swollen red and tender it started looking yellow tinge green that when I decided to prick it with a needle and low and behold green yellow puss ... a lot . I just released the puss last night it feels somewhat better hoping I won't have to go to get antibiotics. I have come to the conclusion there tools are not sterile this has never happened to me anywhere else read more

I know this place is known as Nail Designs but it is also a place for Eyelashes extension! Please let me tell you about this place, I know its seems like a ghetto place and the parking is limited. But I know this lady and her name is Cindy. She's awesome with her work with beautiful eyelashes!! There are SO MANY ladies that offer eyelashes extensions everywhere even at their places. But this one, I DON'T WANNA SHARE MY LADY AS SHE IS MINE. but I figured I should help and grow her business. Soooooo yessssssss I have experienced probably 5 different people and this lady is by far the best! You wanna know why? When I was pregnant I'm like I gotta pamper myself and looking pretty when giving birth so eyelashes extensions it is! Looked at this place since it's closer and dared for it... Got them done first time and it lasted maybe a month and a half! Still have them after giving birth!! It lasted very long .. Second time, got them redone and last long time again! So she made my beauty eyes for this good long. And thought that was normal. Third time, BIG MISTAKE, went in for the Beauty Room and the lady there did my eyes had a chemical in my eye that I had red eyes for a week. And it took them 2 and a half hours to get those done. And it only last 2 weeks!!! Fourth time, I saw an advertisement on Facebook marketplace and tried a couple different people and same thing only last for 2 weeks. And now I'm ready to reunite with my husband after his deployment and I gotta get myself pampered again! Looking back with all those days, I gotta get back with Cindy and she got them done within an hour or less!!! Even better so I can come back home to relief the others who's caring my little one! Sooooo she's MINE and you cannot have her just kidding read more

Came here for a fill since the place I went to last time in Mililani Mauka didn't have any walk ins. Bobby convinced me to just do a new set since my old set was lifting (after just a couple of weeks) so I said ok. I didn't have to soak it off and it didn't hurt while he was pulling off the old set. I work in a professional setting so color isn't really desired. French tips and a clear gel coating. Took only 35 minutes and it came out great. Clean and classic!! I was looking for a salon that would accept walk-ins and provided a simple pedicure for men. I was immediately greeted and asked to take a seat. Within 3 minutes a specialist came out and took me to the chair. She demonstrated the comforts of the massage chair and then started my pedicure. I was in and out quickly and was charged what I believe to be a fair price for the service. read more

I got a mani and pedi done here for the first time yesterday. The mani was fine but during my pedicure the nail tech was super rough cleaning my toes to the point where she made my big toe bleed. She didn't say anything to me about it! She just kept trying to stop the bleed. This is the first time in my life a nail tech made me bleed! It was an annoying pain and when I went home it didn't stop! It got worse and today it actually bruised! I think she cut deep in my big toe because there is an open wound. I am beyond annoyed that she didn't say a thing about it!! I do not recommend ever going here. It may be cheap but you get what you pay for. Day two and it still hurts. read more

I've been going here for years and so has my family. There are key things you need to keep in mind about NAIL SALONS in general. M-Th expect it to be busy anytime around lunch and anytime after 2pm cause everyone who gets off work from their 7-3 or 9-5 or 6-2 shifts all have the same idea. Weekends (FRIDAY-SUNDAY) Don't expect to be seen right away when you do a walk in. It's common sense. It's best if you make an appointment with someone here at the salon. Me? I go and see Sue tell her Kayla referred you! And lastly, please keep in mind you are not the only queen on the island who is doing their nails. Please be nice to the ladies doing their BEST to fit everyone in. read more

Got my nails done by THi and she did a great job!! I love having long glamorous nails and that exactly what she gave Me. I let her freestyle a design on my ring fingers and it came out amazing !!! The price is super affordable and she lets you know how much your nails are going to be before she does it and if you add on anything she lets you know how much it is which I love. She is very friendly and I would definitely recommend going to her. read more

Before I left she had me practice on latex which I gave her a full set of eyebrows which surprised myself and sissy. Shortly after I left I practiced and practiced day in and day out & let me tell you my first sheet of latex was not that great (but as expected as someone who has no experience) I texted sissy a photo and asked for her advice and within minutes she's replies with tips for me on how to better my work. It was too saturated, you can tell my pressure in some areas was heavy & the pixels was not there. After following her tips, the next set I did was much better than before. Moral of the story for this is that there is infinite support with sissy. She wants to see every student succeed in this industry. I had a demo day we're sissy shows me exactly what goes on. I'm a visual learner, so seeing how it's done from start to finish really put things in perspective of what to expect during an appointment. 7/16/21 I had my model day and I was beyond nervous, but she calmed me down and was encouraging me that I can do this and I believed her. I felt at ease knowing she was there supervising me. I came in for a 6:00 appointment I made over the phone with my friend. We were served at exactly 6 but I sat in the chair for 20 min without being given service. While my friend was half way done with her nails. It took the lady an hour to clean and take off any dead skin not only that she kept clipping my nails to the point where I don't have nails anymore and my toes are sore I can't walk properly. I now have a swollen big toe and it's red the application of polish is cute but my toes hurt so bad and they are swollen.
