Had a not good experience with this place the girl would go back and eat then come back with food in her mouth and work on my toes. How disgusting. She was rough on my toes which hurt and was so uncomfortable. I even showed them a picture of what I would done for my toes and she made it so complicated and did something completely different. Genuinely the weirdest and possibly worst nail experience. It started off great, I had a wonderful pedicure from one of the female nail techs. She was fantastic. Then the weirdness started- the man who did my full set (supposed to be a pink and white) was loudly singing/ chanting right in my face. It was extremely bizarre and uncomfortable. When I told him I wanted a pink and white, which I had booked on their website, he seemed confused. Anyone who gets nails done knows that this is a very common service. He assured me he would be able to do it. He knicked my skin multiple times with the filing tools. This full set was truly just terrible. They are so thick, uneven, and even have sediment in the nails themselves!! The base coat was not a pale pink like should be in a PINK AND WHITE, it was just a basic base coat. At this point I realized I wasn't getting what I came in for. He then asked the thickness of French tip I like. I told him. He did it. He then was done with one hand and told me "I don't like it". HE REMOVED THE TIP HE DID AND PAINTED THE TIPS TO THE THICKNESS HE WANTED!!! Never have I had a nail tech disagree with what I want! I asked for a round, pink and white set. My nails were pretty short and lasted like a week or 2 max my one of my friends got like an inch longer than me the other got .5 inch longer and charged them like 85 dollars and me 65 I will not be going back the nails hurt so bad and there was only 4 left so I ended up ripping them off. read more

I have been going to Couture Nails for almost two years. I had tried several other nail salons in the area and had been very disappointed but when I went to Couture, my experience was completely different! Peter usually does my nails and is terrific! I cannot say enough good things about him! I have had eyelash extensions done and used other of their services. I have taken my daughter and granddaughters out for mani - pedi days and all of their staff have been wonderful! Like anywhere else, you need to book an appointment. Turns out I ended up getting the same lady that did my nails the last time. She wasn't following my intructions at all. And ended up getting very impatient with me and yanked my hands. I had my nails done the day before my friendxs wedding. The next day my toes were horrible. I already had nail polish chipping off. I have NEVER had that happen with any nail polish ... even if i did my own. The fingernails are cracked under the clear coat. This time they did not use a coat that needed uv light. I came back to get it fixed. David redid the top coat. Ill see when it is sunlight outside if it got rid of the scratches under the last clear coat. Nina changes the polish. I have been going to Couture Nails for 3 years now. They always get me in quickly and do an outstanding job. It is a quiet and pleasant atmosphere. It doesn't matter which tech I get, they are all very experienced and good at the job. They do not have a high turnaround with technicians. Since I've been going, they have always had the same people working. It's nice because they remember me when I come in. The manager is great about keeping business moving and getting the clients to a chair quickly. She is good at business in that she will do whatever she can to keep you there and give you high quality service. They techs are always easy and do the job as quick as they can. I was really excited to try this place because I live close, it has decent reviews, and I've been trying to find a salon since I moved here. Big mistake. I went for the first (and only) time on Friday for a powder dip manicure. I get them regularly, so I know what they are supposed to look like. I left the salon and noticed that my nails appeared completely shattered and they were all chipping around the edges. Today, I went back (with completely ruined and unattractive nails) and asked simply if they would drill the top coat off, add more color, and repaint the top coat. Not only did they refuse to do that, but the man doing my nails had the nerve to tell me that they were supposed to look like this. He put an extra coat of clear on them and *told me to leave*. Do not waste your money here. The service is absolutely terrible and they clearly do not care about keeping customers. Go buy your own nail polish, give yourself a manicure, and save yourself the disappointment. read more

Extremely disappointed. This is only the 4th or 5th pedicure I've ever had so I don't have a lot of experience BUT I think it's safe to say a pedicure should last more than 5 hours. I made an appointment for a Basic Pedicure on a Saturday morning for myself and a Kids Mani/Pedi for my young daughter. When we got there I was disappointed to see that the kids chairs were side-by-side and that only one was next to an adult chair which was taken, so my daughter and I couldn't sit next to each other. It would have been nice to be able to talk with her but we had another mother and her child between us, so my girl and I spent the entire hour in silence. The process of the pedicure was fine for both of us, but the quality is an issue. After we left, we went shopping at one store, grabbed lunch and came home. We then ate lunch and watched a show- so we weren't doing anything strenuous. I looked down and noticed that the polish had completely come off my little toe. I found the piece of polish on the floor (you can see this in one of the pictures attached). Then I really looked at the rest of my toes and saw that both big toes were damaged as well. I didn't expect the pedicure to last long, but thought I would get a couple days at least before something like this. I immediately emailed the salon via the address provided on their Contact Us information but never received an emailed response. I called the salon several times, finally getting through to a manager who told me she couldn't offer me anything other than new polish. When I asked for a refund, she said she would have to speak with the owner. Three weeks later, I have called back several times and the line is either busy or the manager hasn't been in, so I've given up on getting any resolution. read more

She didn't even finish painting the second coat because the timer went off on the light and she wanted to get it done fast. I was once a regular customer. And then I asked to get my eyebrows waxed. I was taken to a back room that was filthy. There was a bed in the room that was unmade and looked like someone slept there the night before. There were empty food containers and trash on the bed. I'm pretty sure someone was living there. They had me lay on a table and waxed my eyebrows. The whole time I felt like getting up and running out. But, I was too chicken. I stayed and my eyebrows were fine. I do think there must be some kind of health code issue if someone was living there. I just heard that they are now under new management, so I may try again because the location is very convenient. I would give this store 0 star if I could. I went to this store with my mom today. There were not too many people there then. But when I went in there, no one seemed welcome us. And they kept talking in their own language while I was standing there and waiting for someone to help me. When they finally started to work on my nails, the guy who trimmed my nails started to make phone calls and also talking to a lady in the store. Later I was sent to another lady to have my gel applied. She was sooo rude. She didn't even answer my question when I talked to her. She just tried to finish it as soon as possible. And she did a terrible job applying the gel. It got outside of my nails. And I think the guy who trimmed my nails did too much that my fingers are painful now. My fingers feel sting when I touched water, too. Terrible experience! But there was this guy who was the only one smiling in the store. He did my mom's nails and toes, he is such a nice person! He talked to my mom and took care of her very patiently. We really liked him and appreciate his excellent job! I wish that everyone in the store has his attitude. Terrible experience. The owner nicked my cuticle and it wouldn't stop bleeding. She kept trying to paint it and dragged the blood with the polish brush and put the brush back in the bottle. I asked her to remove all the polish and asked for a refund because she wasn't able to finish the manicure. She said no. It was also very dirty. read more
