I am really shocked at how awful this was! I went off of the previous reviews that this was a decent nail salon. Unfortunately this is just not so. I would seriously give this no stars if I could! I brought my sister here as a treat for her graduation-we both got pedicures done. I am a licensed nail technician and I really should have known better than to go to a chop shop like this. Both of our 'nail techs' dug right into the corners of our toenails and clipped way too far back-I am really praying this does not cause us painful ingrowns. My toenails are completely disfigured. There was way too much nipping action going on and after a third round of digging into the corners of my toes, I paid the price-he clipped a big chunk of my skin. I jumped and said, "OW!". There was no acknowledgement and he just went about his job. When it came to polishing my toes, that's when he saw blood pooling down my nail that he tried to stop the bleeding. The polish job was thick and gunky. One big toe had an obvious fuzzy underneath the polish. The worst was that my nail tech had dirty long fingernails and kept cleaning up the polish job with them-EW! I was annoyed at the gunky polish job on both of us so when we got home we both removed our polish. My toe still continued to bleed during this time. Upon closer examination, there was a big flap of skin sticking out where he clipped right into. I am really mad at myself that I went to a place like this. I am so sorry I brought my poor sister here to 'treat' her. If you care about the health of your nails, pay the extra money to go to a reputable salon and have quality work done! BEWARE! read more

The owner reached out to me and said if I changed my review to 5 stars then they would fix my nails for free. Great. Now I have to second-guess if a place truly earned 5 stars or was bribed. My recommendation to this establishment is to just to do a thorough job to begin with. There are too many nail salons for you not to be top notch. Update: The owner calls his customers the "B" word. This is very concerning considering that his client base is mostly women. Future customers or current customers please see my attached pictures to prove that I am just a customer with the negative review - not some ploy to ruin someone's business. The nail salon will be able to run that number on my rewards card to validate that I was just in, see the nail technicians I've worked with and hopefully retrain them. Seems a bit more logical than assuming a negative review is fraudulent and calling his customers names. I came back again this time the absolute best salon in the Mokena IL . All of the personnel are skilled and make a tremendous effort to give every client the best experience, every time. I have had mani/pedi services with Cindy, Or everyone and never had anything but a superior experience. My husband is a regular client too and feels absolutely comfortable and pampered. The services are outstanding, the pricing is fair and the products are spectacular, plus the reductions of chemical exposure is far healthier during the services. Cindy takes care of the scheduling, the logistics of your appointment and making sure you don't miss your appointment with a reminder text or call. The entire team works to take care of the customer. I just had a regular manicure and pedicure.. and as most of my review followers know, I love to pamper myself. This place does that for me! They offered me a magazine and brought me water! I'm a little picky and wanted my water warm, so they even warmed the bottle for me. The workers were extremely friendly and gave no attitude whatsoever. The atmosphere is very relaxing. I've tried a couple nail salons in the area and I believe this one is the best in appearances AND services! This is the most gorgeous place I've been to. Everyone is very professional. They even have on uniforms and name tags. I had the Hot Stone pedicure and no chip manicure. I was serviced in the VIP room and felt like a queen. It was relaxing and so much privacy. The tech went out of her way to make me extremely comfortable. It was worth every penny!!! The added bonus was they have a customer loyalty reward program where you get cash back every time you get your service done( not to mention the coupons on their website.) Best mani/pedi I've ever had! Brand new everything. The massage chair alone is worth the $37! They have a VIP room in the back so you don't have to bothered by others and it comes with another massage chair that leans all the way back so you don't even have to lift your legs! OMG, I can't wait for 2 weeks. I will be back for sure! The decor is awesome, high def flat screens and they took me at 830pm even though they close at 8. I'm so glad to have found a nail salon that does my nails the way I want them done. I asked for a regular, no-chip manicure and that's exactly what I got. They didn't offer me anything that would be more expensive, and they did what I wanted. The staff at Nails Palace & Spa were very kind, and made sure my experience was comfortable. My finger nails were done neatly and carefully, along with a much needed hand massage. They are affordable, efficient, and polite. The place looks awesome! They have a huge fish tank with really cool fish, my kids enjoyed watching the stingrays. I went there last week and the service was fabulous. This is my second time there. The workers there were very nice. It was as if I was in a palace in Las Vegas or Hollywood. Unlike previous salons I've been to, this salon was much more upscale. I tried the milk and honey pedicure and my feet still feel soft and smooth. My no chip manicure always lasts more than two weeks. I definitely recommend this place as a must-go. read more

This place is gorgeous! The workers were very friendly. I tried the lavender manicure and pedicure. It was wonderful. It's been about two and a half weeks since and my nails still look fantastic as if I just had got them done yesterday. I can't believe I haven't gone here before. They're wonderful. Very very nice nail salon and spa. They offer a wide variety of pedicures that are wonderful. Try the Hot Rock pedicure it is relaxing. You don't feel rushed. They have one of the largest polish selection I have seen. I have taken my daughter and husband they enjoyed it as well.They have a Masseuse on staff as well. Love this place! Used to go to Cindy for years when she was at her previous salon; we lost touch. Then I decided to try this place on a whim and discovered it was her very own salon!
