I am not one to write bad reviews, but I am just not happy about my experience whatsoever! My sister made appointments for us. TWO DELUXE PEDICURES. This is supposed to include a 45min massage. We arrive there and barely had 4min to pick out a color before we were rushed over to the pedicure area. Mind you, nobody was waiting. That same gentleman that rushed us to pick a color, shows us to the chairs that we would be sitting in. He begins with my pedicure; as my sister is next to me waiting. I assumed another person was going to come over and start hers; right? Nope. Didn't happen. The gentleman started my deluxe pedicure with a very quick massage with the extra stuff they give you for a DELUXE pedicure. He continues on and before you know it; he was trimming my nails. I thought, okay that seemed fast. AGAIN, MY SISTER IS WAITING THIS ENTIRE TIME. He then starts painting my nails and before you know it, he goes "okay now dry." He walks away and I tell my sister um, that was only 25min. She goes, no way, was it?! We sat down at 12:15 and HE WAS DONE BY 12:39. A deluxe pedicure that is supposed to last 45MIN! My sister received the SAME TREATMENT and hers was EVEN SHORTER. I understand if you are short on staff, but please DON'T CONFIRM AND ACCEPT YOUR APPTS ONLINE if you know you do not have proper staffing to fulfill your customers wants. So, now we arrive home; just to notice and realize he did a very poor paint job. There are parts of our nails that were not even painted! And before you say "you should have spoken up" how am I am supposed to see what he has painted without completely leaning over and moving his hands? Unfortunately, I have to write this review. I have been going to this salon for a couple years now. I have endured several times where I was mistreated as a customer. It is not my style to let something like that go as I truly value Ware and how I spend my money. Kyle is the son of the owners and he does a really great job. However, he's very mean, inconsiderate, and never makes me feel like I should feel in a salon. Yesterday after what happened I will never return. He never allows me to select what I want on my nails when colors are different styles are different, etc. I asked a question. He slammed down the nail polish. He threw my hand towards me in a violent manner and told me he wasn't gonna be there all night. I was so upset that I started crying because I was so angry. He said nothing! As I unfortunately sat there, feeling abused and battered, I needed him to finish what he was doing on my nails so I kept my calm and it was very difficult. He never apologized. He just requested my money and that was the end. I understand that you can't get the best from everybody all the time, but you should treat your customers like gold because they are the ones that keep you in business. I have seen him treat other people differently, which leads me to believe that there could be other reasons for his behavior. Not sure if anyone else has been mistreated in this manner, but I am still distraught. I didn't sleep all night. It was difficult for me to calm down because of the way I was treated. This type of abuse will not be tolerated by me ever! If you choose to go there go with caution, the other nail techs are actually really calm, nice and peaceful. I only get my hands done there because the pedicure is always subpar. However, there are plenty of nail salons. Literally on every corner I have a choice. My choice will be to never return to this establishment. Good luck! The physical and mental abuse suffered on October 2 at roughly 7 PM, and over the past couple of years actually; will be with me for a long time. Came here for the first time the other day as a walk in for an adult and kids pedicure. My toddler daughter (5) and I were looking to have a pampering girls sunday funday. I did a google search and found this salon with good reviews, looked clean/ nice, local, and it was newer. I did call ahead of time around noon to confirm walk in was okay and if they offered kids pedicures which they said to come in and they did. They had a wide variety of color options. They seated us and had us soaking while they finished up 2 other pedicures. I was waiting for a menu but didn't see any around and wasn't handed any while waiting. I wasn't sure what options & pricing they offered. Finally they brought one over and held it and just pointed to each one without really being able to read or advise on options but I just said okay because it seemed like an average one and I basically saw it was under 3 digits for pricing and mentioned aloe Vera which I'm needing bad for my eczema. I had Len do my pedicure and I think it was the best pedicure I've had in my life. It was not rushed, he was friendly, the massage pressure, time, and technique on my legs and feet was amazing. The massage chair was nice. It was clean and very quiet. My daughter had a woman who was good with her laughing and squirming around because it tickled lol. She was able to finish before me so she can sit back and use the massage chair while her nails dried and my pedicure was finishing up. At the end we were ready to get our shoes on and pay. My daughters tech came over and checked my daughters toes and I think she messed up the big toe because she hadn't moved since they were finishing and it smudged. I just said it's fine and was just waiting for them to advise on a total because I wasn't sure what to expect and I paid what I believe I read was classic adult pedicure price for the kids pedicure. Sadly my second time back was a total opposite to the first time. I returned for a fill in and arrived at 12:30 in the afternoon on Friday 7/8/22. I walked in and no one said a word. I said hello and again the guy at the first table on the left said absolutely nothing. Eventually he looked up and said you have long nails come back later. He didn't even know what I wanted but rudely kept telling me to come back later. I was confused because it was so early so I told him all I needed was a fill in and to repair one nail. He then rudely told me come back tomorrow. The male teenager came to the counter and asked if I had an appointment or if I wanted to make one. I declined after being spoken to by whomever the guy was at that first table. The place was practically empty so maybe their staff is slow because it's definitely under staffed as they have a lot of seating. I went back to my regular shop instead. The quality of the service was great which is why I am giving 3 stars. On the other hand, the customer service was not great at all. I have been to this salon twice, and I'm questioning if I will go back. The young man who did my nails had a horrible attitude, I went in for a fix and color change. He asked if I want a fill in I told him no, I just want to fix my broken nail he proceeded to start to cut my other nail, so I asked him why he did that and he said you don't want a new set? I said no, and his attitude changed. By the way I got a fill last week. He started to ask where I got my fill done? And continued to say I need a new set. It was extremely rude, he kept pressing them, and then said they were dirty, my list can go on. He was not professional and genuinely unkind. I was excited to come here, because my first experience was great. I truly wanted this to be my new go to salon. I am sincerely shocked by the service I received. I do not do reviews quite often, I just wanted my voice to be heard . $50 later for a color change and broken nail fix. It was not worth it due to me listening to him actively complain. Honestly, I have been to MANY nails salons from Mokena to Frankfort. This is by far the worst one I have ever been to. Please save your money and do NOT go here. I wish these pictures did it justice. I swear the nail tech did not even do my cuticles. This French manicure was chipped and no attention to detail. They were soooo bumpy too. It was the girl on the right side when you walk in, a couple chairs in. Please don't go here... please save your money. I get it, we are on the south suburbs and I shouldn't really expect much. This is hands down the BEST nail salon in the area! I started going here when they opened in 2022 & will not go to another nail salon. They have great customer service. When I make an appt I'm serviced right away. It is clean & has a relaxing atmosphere. I had a terribly unfortunate experience at the this nail salon last Thursday. Before I start sharing my experience let me preface this by saying, I enjoy the skill that specifically Kyle the manager has with doing acrylic gel or powder nails and have been going for maybe a month and a half straight (every two weeks). Being that I am a stay at home mom I normally like to get my nails done at the shop either in the morning time or around noon and every time I've gone there are at least 2 to 3 other women getting their nails done as well. The experience that I am about to share is one where I went at 5 PM for an appointment with Kyle and there were no other customers in the shop. The times I've gone the nail techs especially women nail techs are very nice while the male nail techs were cordial and polite. Last week was my first time booking an appointment for 5 PM which is later than I normally do but figured that since I've been going to this nail shop so consistently that I should still have the same pleasant experience that I've had in the past. I scheduled a pedicure with a sweet lady named Stephanie and full set with Kyle. Stephanie started doing a no chip pedicure on my toes and I'm guessing to save time Kyle started on my nails. As a stay at home mom with two toddlers running around the house I use the time to get my nails done to catch up on a good show on my phone with my AirPods while I'm getting my nails done. While I was watching my show I glanced over at my nails and wondered if one of my nails were crooked - mind you it was dark in the back so I really couldn't tell. So I very nicely asked if it was just me or if they were crooked & Kyle immediately got upset stood up and asked "Do you want someone else to do your nails because I don't like your attitude!"... Now guys quite honestly I was stunned because I wasn't upset at all I was actually in my most relaxed state seeing that I was finally done caring for children and taking care of the home and watching a good show so I had no idea where this came from. He continued on by saying "If you don't like how I do nails then you can leave!" Again, I was shocked and had no response. I somewhat felt threatened and didn't even know how to react other than to start crying out of embarrassment and confusion. I couldn't help but feel like he chose a moment where no one else was in the shop no other customer but me to treat me how he might've always wanted to treat me but this time no one was there to witness it other than him and the sweet lady doing my pedi, Stephanie. I had to go out of town on a road trip after my appointment so I had no choice but to ask him if he could please finish my nails. At the time if I didn't have somewhere to be after that appointment I would've left but guys literally my tips were just glued on, he had shaped half of my nails and he was asking me to leave. He continued on - standing over me might I add - saying I didn't make him feel comfortable to do his nails because of my attitude ... I felt helpless because I literally had zero attitude and also felt like he was trying to pick a fight with me to maybe get me to yell back or make him feel threatened in someway so when he saw that I started crying he immediately looked at me with disgust asking " why are you crying??" I'm like dude first of all I did nothing wrong I've been nice I have no issue with you and I booked an appointment with you because I enjoy your work I don't know if you recognize me but I get my nails done by you often and don't understand where this is coming from but I'll be sure to write a review. He then said if you're going to write a review then leave and I won't do your nails... what???? Again I had a road trip to go to for a wedding and needed my nails done because there was no other shop that would do it that late so instead I told him that it wasn't fair of him to try to get me to not do my nails because of how poorly he's treated me and that my experience should not be silenced and won't be. I then told him that customers come here to unwind and relax and not to fight and be accused of things that are not true and that I'm crying because I've had a hard day with kids and simply just don't have the courage to fight this ridiculous accusation. I also told him that I am a woman of value and that he needs to be careful about who he miss treats because this can very well shut down your business. I was saying this all while crying and all he could do was look at me with disgust saying "why are you crying I didn't do anything to you"... so I asked him to please just finish my nails and I just won't come back. When I left I gave Stephanie a $20 tip for being so sweet and doing her best to console me while Kyle screamed at me for more than half of my experience during that appointment. read more

So, I've found this establishment in January on Instagram and gave them a chance. The first several services I was pleased with Kathy. However, since Ms. Kathy is on vacation since last month, I gave the other staff a chance. Yesterday, the day before Easter, was the final straw. I did receive a fill-in and pedicure. The service isn't bad , but I will say that their no-chip costs is overpriced and they will try to convince you to get the highest $55 pedicure which don't get me wrong, is great, but I feel that they all about making the most money out of their highest services. Plus, I usually set an appointment however, this time Kyle asked me to call next time to set an appointment which I've felt was odd plus it wasn't a problem when I set an appointment before. I've woke up the next day and my middle finger nail broke off in half. It was too long of a drive for me to go back and see if they can fix the nail which I assume they was closed like most places. Luckily, the nail I've used to go closer to me were open this holiday to fix the nail that was done by the staff here. It's bad enough I've paid $125 for a fill in-, pedicure with no-chip which I have no issue with, it's the fact my nail broke off the next morning which shouldn't have happened and I assume because this establishment is located in an area such as Frankfort that they can charge prices that are outrageous is beyond me. Frankfort is a nice area, but don't charge prices like we are in Beverly Hills or Miami. I do thank everyone for their services, but unfortunately, I plan to take my business elsewhere. read more

I'm a little sad to be writing this review! This way favorite place for pedicures, well not anymore at least. I came here to get my toes done for my vacation and left disappointed. And before anyone says anything yes i expressed my concerns and asked the man to fix them. I asked for a French tip no chip pedicure, the same thing i get every time I come. The first issue was i asked for square nails the way i had them when i came in. I finally perfected my shape and he rounded them he didn't file the nail for the no chip, and then he added no base color for the French tip, and THEN tried to make the line so thick where half on my nails were white. I told him i wanted the lines more thin but the more i told him the more he was smacking his lips. The lines are messy and rushed. And he left polish all over I'm home now a few hours later and the big toe peeled off. Safe to say I won't be back. read more

I came in for the third time for a fill in. The fill in was nice, the polish job not as good. Had white walls all the way around every nail. After four days I decided I was going to call and tell them how I'm not happy with the polish job. Spoke with someone that was very apologetic, told me to come in the morning at 11 to have them repolished. I went in on Sunday at 11, waited my turn. I was trying to explain why I was there unfortunately no one seems to understand English. I'm trying to keep my cool. Wait my turn, I'm not trying to make a scene. It's my turn I explain what's going on again! I thought she understood. I was wrong! She tells me $30 at the end of my repolish. Which in the brochure it says $25. I just pay and leave. Not happy at all. At least it was polished right this time even though I had to pay twice. And by the way, while I was getting repolished I overheard someone tell the one that did my bad polish job that she had white walls around her nails! Guess I should have looked closer and said something right away. Undecided if I will go back. These pictures are 3 days after a fill in and polish. It looks like a 2 week out grow. read more

I went in there with high hopes. It is a pretty place in a nice strip mall located close to home. Unfortunately it was a horrible experience. I went in there to get a dip powder manicure and they didn't have anyone to do that so they talked me into a no chip manicure. They were unable to even perform that correctly, it chipped off after 5 days! My pedicure was performed by the owner Jenny who clearly doesn't know how to do a pedicure. I had to remind her to put on a base coat and a top coat! And the way she polished my nails looked like a 2 year old did it! Because of Kyle's raw talent and skill with nail designs, it is necessary to make an appointment with him which is easily done through the business's Facebook page. Kyle is a disgusting person who did the wrong color as i was doing ombré he did my pink as an off pink which was not the color and why i assumed it was the white he was putting it on and even told he said i can just do my whole nail this color with glitter. Nothing similar to what i had showed and asked of him while i had already forgave him for doing the wrong length when he went to redo my nails he said loud and clear to me that i was just wasting his time! I paid for a bail take off and left immediately, i was so upset when i called after calming myself down. What does he do? He hangs up on me saying he cannot talk right now. This store has only been open for a few months and I will be sure to let everyone know because this is not how you treat customers! Especially if being a new salon in the area. I have been going to the other legends for years and this one was closer to home but now this just leaves bad thoughts when thinking of legends.
