During my pedicure, the technician cut several of my cuticles, leaving me with multiple painful cuts that should never happen during a routine service. For my manicure, I get my long natural nails done with S&S dip powder and a gel overlay. I've been getting my nails done this way for years and have never had an issue. This salon applied the product so thin that it's already peeling away from my natural nails. As a result, I've already broken two of my natural nails because there wasn't enough strength or protection. Not only did I waste my money, but now I'm left with damaged nails that will take time to grow back. To make matters even worse, the salon itself was dirty and poorly maintained. The air conditioning wasn't working, and it was 83 degrees inside while customers and employees were expected to sit there for extended periods. It was incredibly uncomfortable and made the entire experience even more unpleasant. Between the unsanitary conditions, the painful cuts, the poor-quality nail application, and the uncomfortable environment, this was a complete waste of money.
