Went again and I'm telling you if you're getting gel or dip powder get Ailynda!! I'm picky with my nail techs and she did an amazing job. Last time the person that did my nails wasn't as detailed . This will be my go to when my nail lady is on vacation . She is very meticulous and she also has an Instagram with all the designs she's made but I normally go for just one solid color but maybe one day I'll explore and venture out into designs. I got simple red and it has not chipped at all. The blue ones I had a month ago lasted awhile too like a whole month and more but my nail was growing so I removed the polish on my own at home. I came in asking to remove the set of nails I had to get a new full set. The man who was assigned to do my nails was extremely aggressive while removing the nails I had on. He did not soak or file them down, but just ripped them off with an acrylic nail.. When he got to my pinky nail, he pulled so hard it ripped my real nail off so only my skin underneath was showing. I am never one to leave reviews, or complain, but the lack of empathy or care for physically hurting me was upsetting. read more

I was very excited to get my nails done here because it was highly recommended by a friend. I had never been here before and was getting my nails done for my graduation photos so I asked around a lot before picking a place. I even had a specific tech recommended to me because it was important to me that my nails looked just right before getting expensive, permanent photos taken. The prices were a little high here, but based off what I heard from others and reviews, I could expect better service here than an average place. I am a struggling college student who can hardly ever afford to get my nails done, but was willing to pay a little more if it meant my nails would come out perfect for this special occasion. I was very disappointed by the service I received. I had an appointment scheduled weeks in advance with the specific nail tech I wanted. It was very important to me that I got the specific person I requested because I had never been there before and wanted to be assured I would be happy with her work since this was for a very important event. When I showed up 15 minutes early for my appointment, there was no one behind the front desk to help me. Someone in the middle of an appointment told me to sign in any way. I did so and sat down. After a few minutes, a young gentleman gestured for me to follow him to the back. He was not who I made the appointment for and when I informed him of this and tried to ask for clarification he just handed me a book of services because he did not know any English. He only communicated by pointing. I hoped that he was just getting me started until the woman I requested (Kaitlyn) wrapped up her last appointment. However, who I assume was the manager or owner came up to me and apologized saying she saw my appointment and gave Kaitlyn someone else instead by accident. She kept saying "he can do it though" like she was trying to convince herself. She asked if it was okay, but with Kaitlyn already starting someone else's nails and this guy already cutting mine, what else was I supposed to say? I am naturally a shy person and at this point I was pretty frazzled and confused. I quickly learned that this guy has very little experience and is still learning how to even do nails. I think I must have been one of his first clients if not his very first. He did not even know where half of the supplies were kept. No one informed me of his lack of experience before asking if I was okay with taking him instead of the highly rated person I booked with. I had to communicate with him through the manger who kept walking over and she quickly had to cut my nails for him while I was still in the pedicure chair. They are all different shapes and many are uneven. It was very important to me to get a french manicure on my fingers for a classy look to contrast my blue toe nails, but since I could not communicate with him and did not trust his abilities, I just got the same blue color on my fingernails. While he was painting my fingernails, the store got less crowded and the other techs watched him paint my nails. They started laughing and seemed shocked that he was painting a client's nails. They started checking his work lifting up my hands to see and touching me without saying anything to me. Many of them would wince or make a face, but did not fix it and continued to let him keep going. At this point, several people could have helped him or taken over, but instead, they giggled and ridiculed both him and me. I was not happy with the end result. One of my nails was smudged, many had air bubbles, and the polish was all over my skin. Another tech made a face and asked if I liked it and at that point, I was so upset and embarrassed I just nodded so I could get out of there. I paid over $80 for a mani-pedi that was barely better than what I could have done myself and was not what I wanted. It was not terrible, but not worth $80 which is a lot of money for me. On top of that, I felt mistreated, disrespected, and humiliated. I cried when I got in the car because I was so embarrassed and angry. I was getting my pictures done the next day and had to accept my nails were not going to look how I wanted in the already expensive photos to mark such an important event in my life. I wish I had spoken up in the nail salon and stood up for myself, but I should not have had to. read more

I had my eyebrows waxed and the lady that did it went from the cashier register to right to touching my face. She did not sanitize her hands or put gloves on. I had to ASK her to put on gloves and she acted like she would if I asked. It makes me question the sanitation of this place. My eyebrows also looked uneven. One was really arched and the other flat. Now this isn't my first time getting my eyebrows waxed. I know they are a bit asymmetrical but the worker didn't take very much time shaping them. Just slapping some wax on and quickly ripping the hair out. She barely used the clippers to refine them. I won't be back to this place. But I have to say when I walked in I was greeted in a friendly manner. Went today for a pedicure.. my nail tech was great. Did a beautiful job. After 5 minutes of sitting in chair waiting for them to dry, the manager or someone came up to me , removed the toe foams , collected my card and told me to put on my sandals and check out. So I did, however now my toe polish is ruined and I live 30 minutes away, all because I was rushed out and couldn't sit there for longer than 5 minutes? Most places let you stay as long as it takes for them to be fully dry and even than they help with the shoes.. place didn't have dryers or light to sit under so it was up to the air to dry the polish. I thought maybe they had some super quick drying formula or something lol nope just little patience. Since my drive is a hike, I'll have to attend my birthday party with a messed up toe. Acrylic nails-- hit or miss these days. The owners aren't really doing nails much anymore, good for them. There are new people, which is good but some of the people aren't doing that good of a job on the acrylics. The guy with the freckles is really good, he did the matte black nails in my pictures. The quiet lady, did the set with the designs, she's also good. My last fill was done by a woman, they were bumpy and not smooth. They looked pretty bad so two days later I went to a different salon and got them fixed ($$$). A few months prior this same lady gave me a full acrylic set. After soaking the old set off, it was pretty late, I almost said "let's just do it tomorrow" but I had travels in two days and was nervous about my schedule. The set was sloppy and thin. The acrylic went on goopy and slid off. While traveling, as soon as I got to the airport and picked up my bags, at least two of the nails broke. I wear acrylics simply because I am rough with my nails, and simply picking up a weekend bag broke them. I had to get at least two nails fixed within a week or 2 after. I feel like I've wasted at least $50-100 with her... disappointing. She has also attempted to charge me for things that I know others have not charged me extra for at that salon, like matte top coat? As if matte top coat cost more than glossy? It's a bit infuriating considering I've been a regular customer there read more

I literally spent 20 minutes crying over how bad my nails look. The guy doing my nail was so bizarre. He wouldn't file my nails straight, it would all slant to one direction. He acted like I was being a diva and laughed and would act annoyed everytime I would show him (instead of apologizing). I spent the entire time telling him to please fix it, but he would just go over it, say "see perfect?" like some insane pyscho who isn't sitting and looking at the same thing I'm looking at. He didn't even paint my nails like a normal human being- instead of going up an down, he added his own special twist and would go down, up then make some strange mini circle to the right. At that point I stopped so I could get the fuck out of there as fast as I can. I feel like I have to submit this scenario SNL bc it was so bizarre and seemed like some sort of awful prank. I'm staring at my strangely angled nails trying to convince myself that maybe I can pull this off as... artistic? I had been to this salon once before and Jenny did a good job with my manipedi. Made another appointment with Jenny a week in advance. I had a question and emailed the salon. Never heard back. Went anyway. Jenny was not there when I arrived and I was told she'd be there in a few minutes. I looked at colors and there was not one that I liked. After 15 minutes I was put in a chair for my pedicure. After another 10 minutes they let me soak Still nothing from jenny. Another 10 minutes and I flagged down someone who looked like they worked there and asked if Jenny was coming. She checked with someone else and then asked me if this guy could do the pedicure. I had to wait for him to finish another client so waited almost an hour in all. So BiBi did my pedicure and did a very good job. He's very upbeat and cheerful and does speak some English. It seemed like no one was in charge of the salon and if I hadn't spoken up, I would still be sitting there! I'll be looking for another salon. read more

I always try to give every nail salon the benefit of the doubt and I don't enjoy leaving bad reviews. However, with that being said, this was the worst gel polish change I have ever received. To start, the OPI selection is very lacking. Then, the technician did a poor job when she applied my gel. She missed some spots and like the edges were choppy, it just not even. To further my annoyance, I got my nails done 5 days ago and the gel has already chipped. This was the biggest waste of $60 I have ever spent. Do not waste your time or money. I wish I could get my $60 and take my business elsewhere because as a college student, $60 is a lot to spend on a shoddy gel polish change. *I will note, my pedicure was a standard, normal pedicure which was good. I'm just more in shock over this gel polish change situation. read more

I really wanted to love this place but due to their lack of sterilization, I can't go back. I went based on a friend's recommendation. The decor is great and the hospitality by the owner was fantastic. He gave us waters and was really nice! Each manicurist took their time and was attentive. The color selection for gel polishes was also really great. My main issue and reason I won't go back is the hygiene. It looks as if they do not sterilize their tools. Everything they used on me during my mani/pedi came from a case and directly put back into said case. The guy working on me made me even bleed a couple of times, and the tools still went back into the drawer. Lack of hygiene/sterilization is unacceptable for a nail salon to overlook. I'm really sad because outside of this, I'd love to make this place my go-to salon. They have potential to be a huge place in Gville. I hope to hear that they've improved their sterilization process in the future. read more

I have gone to this salon for about 5 years and I love it! They are efficient,friendly and do a heck of a good job on ombre dip nails. I recently stepped outside of the box and got blue and pink ombre and they lasted 4 weeks without any chips and not dulling. I usually go every 3 weeks but I wanted to see how they looked after 4. Was not very impressed with this salon. I had to wait like 30 mins and no one really told me what was going on or who I was waiting for but whatever, I was a walk in, not a huge deal. What I was really unhappy about was the quality of the manicure. I was going on vacation for my birthday and I wanted long pretty coffin nails. This was my first time at Bellagio; my usual nail salon is tami and the only reason I didn't go there is bc they told me they don't do nail extensions with dip powder which is what I was looking for. So I gave Bellagio a try because the reviews were good and I had recommendations from a few people. So maybe I'm just unlucky?? Regardless, it's been a week and the polish is already chipping in places (normally I go 3 weeks not a single chip), not to mention they didn't paint the side of the nail???? (See pics). Also I was super disappointed with the shaping. It was just subpar. See the 2 pics of my nails compared to the pic I showed the dude. Also this mani was super expensive it was 55$ and at tami I pay 45$ for acrylics of muchhhhh better quality. So yeah, it's only been a week and I'm super disappointed, I don't like looking at them and I already want to get them redone. But not at Bellagio!!! Sad. read more

I always try to give businesses fair chances and am hesitant to leave bad reviews, but this experience was very disappointing and I want to urge others to be wary of the lack of hygiene in this nail salon. This was my first time here and I walked in 40 minutes before their closing time. There was another person getting a service and some girls in the front checking out. Wasn't busy at all but it clearly looked open. I asked for a pedicure but the woman in the front was very standoffish and tried to tell me they were already closed. I mentioned their listed closing time and her and a nail tech started talking amongst themselves and I guess the nail tech told her that she would take me. Another woman walked in maybe 15 minutes later to fill her nails and another nail tech said they were closed but then said they could do part of the service she asked for. I later asked if the closing time was 7 or 7:30 p.m. thinking maybe I had it wrong but the tech told me it was 7:30. I understand wanting to go home, but not accepting customers or lying to them while they are within a perfectly appropriate window of time seems like bad business. Coming in 40 minutes before close and 5 minutes before close are two very different things. The actual pedicure was okay and the nail tech was friendly, but my nails were cut uneven. I am also truly disgusted at the hygiene of this place. Chairs weren't wiped down. The tech was clearly using unsanitized tools and just tossing them back in her kit. Then she tried to file my nails with a used file and when I told her to stop and asked if it was clean, she opened the drawer to grab what I thought would be a new one. The "new" file looked just as dirty as the first one she attempted to use on me. I honestly should have left but I was already halfway into the pedicure and just sucked it up.
