Called Hudson Valley Dermatology and could have a doctor check it out the next morning. Dr Phil examined the area and stated it didn't appear to be cancerous. Took a biopsy absolutely no pain he is quite skilled. Many of my friends warned me that procedure is very painful not true. He proscribed medication and in days the ugly spot disappeared . The facial was really wonderful and relaxing - no intense scents, super calming with some massage in there that was awesome. We then had individual massages by Tracy. Unfortunately that was not the greatest, WAY too gentle, WAY too much oil, and hardly felt relieved nor relaxed after - I kept thinking "when is this massage going to start" even after for more pressure. My partner had the same experience as well. The manager issued me a replacement that was good for 30 days, meaning that I could book on that new system for up to 30 days. I tried---Lord did I try! First, I tried to book on the website which was down. Then I called in an was told that they couldn't book for me since the "manager wasn't in an wouldn't be able to honor the gift card until she was in". I wrote an email and got ZERO response. Zero. I called again and nobody picked up to the extent that I ended up calling the spa to ask if the place was even still in business. I tried every other day until the 30 days expired. I am pretty sad about this since I have the timestamped emails, the original gift card, and I tried to book on both the website and by calling and by requesting a reservation via email. It was an unfortunate waste of a $300.00 gift card. I don't think this is an ethically run establishment, especially after they refused to honor the original gift card as well as the 'replacement'.
