I really try to like this place ‍ but I have to say about 90 percent of the time I'm not "at all" very happy with my experience. TIPS = To Insure Proper Service .... I TIP very well but it doesn't seem to insure proper service whether it's the quality of the work or the customer service. It's really to the point it's not worth trying to get a decent service anymore. I keep trying, but finally have come to the conclusion that I'm not willing to try once more. The last time I was in, I had a mani pedi cost me 75 dollars and my nail polish was chipping off same day without effort ... I can soak my feet and paint my nails for free considering the service is not much of a pleasurable experience if you are just painting my nails, I can do that! .... Read this as ZERO stars!! Change the name from Nail Pro to Lazy Nails. The girls that run this shop are just plain lazy and unfriendly. They act like they are doing you a huge favor by taking you as a walk-in. I left today with sloppy work on my toes and clearly that's the standard here. They cut my nails but didn't clean them. Exactly what the name is...Pros! Phe took care of my dogs aka my feet from beginning to end. Nothing fancy about the shop but sometimes that's great if the business emphasizes great customer service and pay attention to detail. Over past few months has gotten dirty. The front door is filthy with handprints, as well as the chairs, footrests, pillows, etc. Five minute manicure, cut into cuticles. Sometimes you get leg and arm massage, sometimes not. Pedicure was fast; nails not smooth. No help getting sandals on. Service and quality is very inconsistent. read more

Warning: "Booking" an appointment at 10:00 am doesn't mean anything, apparently. It's hit and miss on the services and results, so don't be afraid to let your technician know if your not happy with what they're doing (or have done). The technicians don't acknowledge you as a customer. They are actually rude! Mine laughed at the colors I chose and then continued to talk about me with the other technicians right in front of me. The gel on my nails didn't set and was soft when they said I was finished. The owner sits at the end of the room and doesn't help even tho customers are waiting. Well.. I've been going here for a while and every time I go, I am slightly disappointed. They've cut my cuticles before, made me bleed. This time I went I got gel French tip and they only put on one layer.. it's been two days since I got them done and multiple nails are already chipped...when you get gel nail polish it's expected for it to last weeks- that's why I choose to get gel manicures. The women who work here were very nice and friendly without making me feel pressured to make awkward small talk. Salon was quiet and peaceful. The tech who did my pedicure was gentle and paid attention to detail. She did a great job! My feet look and feel great! :) However I was less impressed by my manicure which was done by another tech. Terrible!!! The staff was very rude and made us feel like we were putting them out. We had an appointment but still waited 1/2hr. I had the male employee and he was awful. I requested a gel manicure and paid $45. He rushed the service and never used the ultraviolet device to cure the polish. He left my nails wet and the polish started peeling off the next day. Average work, decent prices, but I get burned every time I get acrylics done here. If I have to recommend a place in Sonoma, this is it, but they aren't very careful. Also, be sure to bring cash!!! They don't have a card reader and CVS only gives so much cash back. read more

So I came here because all the reviews were awesome, and I needed a pedicure so bad! So I get here at 430 like they told me and they got me right in. I wanted a manicure and a pedicure. They lady started on my pedicure and it was awesome! Hot stone massage (not really a massage just mostly rubbing the hot stone on your feet) and the other lady came to do my manicure, which took her all of 5 minutes. She totally rushed through it and they look terrible. Let's just say I won't have her do my nails anymore. Other than that it was a great experience! I walked into this nail salon and stood at the counter for 15 minutes, waiting to talk to the receptionist or one of the nail technicians. Nothing, not one person paid attention to the entrance. They were all busy with customers, which I can understand. So, after 15 minutes just standing there, I decided to sit down in the waiting area, where other ladies were waiting to be called in for their manis and pedis. Once they were all called in, one by one, I was the only one left there and FINALLY one of the nail technicians decided to ask me what type of services I was there for. So I told her I wanted a mani and a pedi and she said that if I had no appointment they could not take me. And it took them ..... 35 minutes to tell me that?!?!? This place will never see me again. I've been to several nail salons for a gel mani and come out w/ disastrous nails (uneven coating, cuticles over trimmed). Lam made sure that the gel polish was perfectly rounded at the cuticle and she made an even coat on every nail. The leg and arm rub down was awesome too! I had an appointment with Jennifer and arrived on time. While waiting, two walk-ins came in and were seated before me. Then, Jennifer pretended that we hadn't made an appointment even though I had just called 2 hours earlier. Finally two other girls started working on my nails and it went horrible. One girl started using this device to grind my nails and it hurt so bad I wanted to scream. Where do I even begin, I'm not gonna go all in on this place like I could. That being said. My friend and I decided we needed a girls day and we made a 3:30 appointment. I arrived on time. Was greeted at the door with heavy stares and almost a " what are you doing here?" Look from all the manicurist. I told them I had an appointment and they told me it would be a 10 Minute wait. I said no worries and sat patiently. I asked for a pedicure while I was waiting and the women began to draw the water. As I sat in the chair. A women was starting at my stomach. Yes I'm 27 weeks pregnant but I carry the baby were I haven't gained a noticeable amount of weight, she pointed to my stomach and i said "what?" She said nothing and spoke to her friend. Not in English and they started cracking up like Uncontrollably. Granted I might be paranoid. But it made me feel Extremely uncomfortable. I could go on all day about this place. As I was getting my pedi my girl friend who made an appointment just to get a fill. Was getting her nails filed by the older women who works there. Never asking her what shape or double checking anything. Yes my friend had a new nail shape called coffin, the lady filed her nail straight, she made her ring finger look like a pinky finger nail. Mind you my friend was at the SAME location 2 weeks prior where she intentionally got her nails in the coffin shape. To put in small words she was livid. As the lady was arguing with her that nothing was wrong. I know from working customer service the customer is ALWAYS right. It's just rude to argue. We all know how expensive getting your nails can be. Back to me though, my pedicure was less than satisfactory. I feel like they rubbed hot stones on my legs longer then actually cleaning my toes. At this point I just want to get out of there. When she was gluing my tips on my nails. Multiple times they were crooked and she had to re glue them. When she finally got around to my acrylic I asked for pink and white gel. I'm pretty sure she used powdered acrylic and just topped with a gel top coat. I then asked to have my eye brows waxed, the lady responded with do you want your whole face? I kid you not , and started cracking up all again. All said and done i was out of there by 6:15 with a total bill of 92$ which I know they up charged me thinking I wouldn't give them a tip which I did tip them 15$ . I'm super disappointed because I asked for square and they are NOT !! they are so thick and rounded as well as lifting by the cuticle which shouldn't happen on the second day ! To top off the day . When I was washing my hands the manicurist moved my Phone (iphone6) and wallet, luckily my friend saw, but the lady dropped my Phone screen down and I heard a huge noise, my friends said ," wow" and the manicurist replied"NOTHING HAPPENED!" This place is for the mature woman of Sonoma who only get polish and aren't looking for something that doesn't last longer than a week. They also tried to overcharge my mom for her American manicure - even though they had their price board posted with the price in the lobby. I normally go to a salon in Petaluma as I have not have a great experience getting my nails done in Sonoma. My salon was booked, and I needed a last minute set of acrylics done as I had an event to attend the next day. Nail Pro saved the day, I was a little hesitant at first due to the Yelp reviews I had read, but I called around 1pm--booked my appt for 5pm. Waited only a few minutes and walked out about an hour later with my perfect set of acrylic sparkle tip nails! Awful! I've been here a few times and while the pedicures are decent, the acrylics and gels are horrible. No matter what I said they could not or would not shape them how I wanted. Also, this was not the first time I was there that so many people were upset because they had made appointments and had to wait 30 minutes, or come back later. Why allow appointment making if not going to hold to them? I really thought there was going to be more negative reviews by customers that were in that day. Went here last week with a Bridal group to get our nails done before the wedding. The ladies there were friendly and accommodating.

I just tried to get service for the first tims at this place , but they told me that they were already closed. A big sign outside still said OPEN. Keep in mind that they close at 6:30 pm and I arrived at 6 pm. I will never go back as I felt discriminated against. I only wanted to get my hands done and I guess they wanted more than just a quick hands service.... As I was writing this review, a lady walked in and she received service. The girl was not very friendly and was pretty rude as she didn't acknowledge the fact that I was waiting 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time and did not seem sorry at all. The fact that I just spent money here, just ruined my day. In the process of trying to rip all my acrylics off, because they're that bad. Zero customer service skills, and actually just zero skills in general. I don't want to speak on all the technicians behalf, but one person in particular needs to have their employment reconsidered by management. The younger male who did my nails (one earring and tattoo on forearm) cut me with the file several times, couldn't shape a nail to save his life, and reeked of cigarettes - so badly, that when I went to adjust my mask i could smell his cigarettes on my fingers. He also kept digging his dirty fingernail into my nail fold. I feel like I need to soak my hands in alcohol after that. There was another lady who probably had the worst customer service skills I've seen to date. Looked me up and down with attitude when I walked in and wouldn't even give me eye contact because she was glued to her phone, didn't say one word to me after I greeted her and asked how her day was except "sit here." You're in the wrong field ma'am! And if this employment is your only option then I would suggest teaching yourself the necessary skill set, because this place will not last long at all with this team. read more
