The salon has great massage chairs. It's always clean & the staff are pretty friendly. But when I went today, July 9, 2026, I l had a bad experience.I don't think I'll go back :(. I paid extra for callus removal on a basic pedicure, not gel. One of the young men working there put the solution on my feet didn't even let it sit in and immediately brought out the callus grater, and went way too hard. So he actually cut me on the side of my big toe, which didn't need to be filed. He took a layer of skin off & it bled, and it really hurt.So that was really frustrating. .Pictures aren't pleasant, but I did want to post it. I had to wear a big band aid around my toe to wear sandals until it healed finally. EDIT!! I'm want to say that I'm grateful that when I called the salon to let them know.. the manager Anna immediately said they would give me a free pedicure voucher for when I could come back. And they honored that when I went on my birthday last week with the best friend and had a really good experience. They one time that was unpleasant, was an isolated incident. Used to be a regular and loved coming here for my pedicures but last appointment I had felt very rushed , the guy that worked on my nails was odd, didn't wear a mask like everyone else and didn't even bother to trim , shape or even do anything to my toes . All he did was paint them and did a terrible job at that. I got the Rainbow Deluxe Pedicure with gel, $60 service. Unfortunately, I did not receive the full service included in that package. There was no mud mask, and the massage was much shorter than the required 10 minutes. Also, the polish applied was not the one I requested, and my nails were cut too short without proper shaping. Each nail looks uneven and poorly done, which was really disappointing. Not only that but dude walked away mid session to work on the walk ins that were waiting when I had arrived . I immediately noticed they received better service I was left with cold wax on my feet and cold water while they received great treatment ! Because of this experience, I would rather not come back and spend more money. Especially because I felt like I was treated differently due to not being white like the walk ins that were waiting , even though I had booked the appointment days prior. read more

I went back because a girl friend said to ask for Ann. I was stoked and I have had a few other gentleman when Ann wasn't available and will continue to go. First time experience: My very short nails had the nicest manicure ever. The shape is rounded and they look like they are just waiting to get longer. Short nails are a challenge to look presentable, and I so appreciate the manicure's result. My pedicure was also nice. read more

I called Rainbow Nails last minute for a wedding party of 10 and they were able to accommodate us on a Saturday morning for mani/peds. They were super fast and also great quality, also very friendly. They let us bring in coffees and food for the bridal party and even had a small table with cups and plates set up for us which was so sweet and we didn't even ask for it. read more

In response to Esther's review about Ann and the employees at Rainbow Nails yesterday afternoon, I was sitting right next to Esther getting a pedicure. This is a spa establishment where customers come to relax and enjoy a quiet, tranquil environment. Esther sat down and was literally yelling across the pedicure room to her friend for 20 minutes before Ann discreetly and privately asked her to lower the volume of her voice. To accuse Ann of being racist is ludicrous. It had nothing to do with her speaking Spanish and had everything to do with her yelling in a spa environment. I have been frequenting this salon for 5 years and have always been treated with care and professionalism. I am also Hispanic and have never, ever witnessed racism in this establishment. Everyone who works here speaks English as their second language and is wonderful, kind and accommodating. I'm sorry that she had a bad experience but everyone should know to speak quietly in a spa environment. read more

We were in town for a little Mamas' Getaway weekend and wanted to get our nails done. I chose Rainbow mostly for the ease of making an appointment online but it didn't seem to really matter. We luckily didn't wait long to be seated and overall the service was fine. The nail art I requested didn't really look that great and overall it looked fine after but this 3 stars is because after a week, my nails were already chipping and peeling at the edges so the gel really didn't set or wasn't really applied well. [UPDATE] I did want to add another star since the manager reached out to me personally to offer a refund or for me to come back and fix my nails free of charge. I don't live in the area and won't be in the area for a while but I appreciate the gesture and felt like her communication was very professional. read more

Danny did my toes separately so make sure you have 2 1/2 hours to do girl time. Most places I've been to do them together so just want to put that note in. My mom, sister, and I went to Rainbow Nails Spa right after work, and even though we were a later appointment, the team that did our services (my mom and I got a Gelx fill and my sister got an acrylic fill and gel polish change on her feet), did an absolutely fantastic job and didn't try to hurry us out at all which says a lot when you're one of the last ones at the salon. The salon was clean, and it was a nice environment after a long day at work. We've been trying out different nail salons but I think we finally found one we'd come back to in Sonoma! They take walk-Ins. I was waiting for my wife to get her hair done next door. Gentleman this is a convenient location to treat yourself to a nail treatment. Manicure & Pedicure. My skin was a little on the dry side from working outdoors. I got the Deluxe treatment with sugar scrub and paraffin treatment. Oh what a good feeling. The leg and foot massage is so relaxing and feels so therapeutic. The hot stones feel great on the joints and the soles of your feet. I don't know why I've been hesitant to get this pampered treatment in the past. Us guys deserve to have our skin feel this soft too. I know my wife will like the way my skin feels. This place is very efficient. Everyone males & females help to make you feel comfortable. Thank you Nikki! We grab some little bottle of wine or bubbles from a local store and roll over to a nail salon to relax a bit while getting our Flintstone feet pampered and looking fresh. My friend had his usual salon that had no room for us so we took to Yelp and found this little gem. They were busy but there was tons of room to get everyone a spot in a chair. For $35 I opted for the "princess" something or another, which came with a little extra TLC and a hot rock massage. Totally worth it. The nail technician was efficient and did quality work. Total time spent in Rainbow nails? About an hour and fifteen minutes once my toes were dry and I was ready to show off those lil' piggies. Guess what? Compliments galore!
