With that being said, Jessica at Nails R Us is THE MOST kindest, sweetest, talented lady. My daughter's nails are still very stubby. Overpriced with horrible customer service. Went in for a manicure with acrylic and gel. Pedi with gel. So, not a cheap service. Two different girls did each service. The girl that did many nails didn't speak a word to me. She kept putting coat after coat on my nails and out of sequence. I really didn't understand why? Not even 24 hours later my nails were bubbled up and peeling off. I went back to the salon and asked for a refund as I was not able to have them redo them. I was pressed for time and heading out of town. She absolutely refused. Said they would fix but no refunds. So buyer beware. You may get an inexperienced person and you will be wasting your time and money. read more

When I first walked in I wasn't acknowledge, but I put my information in and sat down. Waited a little bit and got told I could go sit at a table and look at colors. I sat there a bit over an hour waiting, and being looked at by employees, but people coming in after were getting seated and worked on. The guy that ended up doing my nails tells me that the two colors I picked based off the picture I was using weren't the same because one was dip and one was gel. That's when I said I wish someone would've told me that while I had been sitting here waiting an hour. No one ever apologized for making me wait for no reason, it's ok non needed. The only thing I got told while waiting was my nails would get done. My last time going here, and for others I'm sure get good service, but for me it was not a good experience. I always get my nails done by jimmy and he is AMAZING!! Super cool & easy going. They are always really nice & if you don't feel like talking they catch the hint & let you chill. I'm out of town for the weekend and needed to get my nails done. Trying new nail salons makes me really nervous because you never know what you're going to receive. I chose this salon because of the previous reviews on here and let me say I loved it! I've never seen anyone apply dip with a brush like you would with acrylic nails but I can't even tell a difference. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door and there wasn't a wait time for a Saturday which is surprising. Adequate nails, average price and quick. I would stop back in if I was out and about and needed my nails done really quick. However, this isn't my new nail home. I want to relax, feel welcomed and feel like I am in a nice, clean space. Unfortunately, Nails R Us & Spa didn't hit that mark for me. However, I could tell the ladies that were in there were loyal, recurring customers- so maybe give it a shot! My nails were soaked in ice cold water, no oil on my cuticles, cut my skin because they were dry and needed more time and attention before the dead skin removal began. After that quick mani, the dip nail began. My nails turned out fine really, they looked good. They applied lotion on my hands for about 5 seconds each hand and said "okay, you're done" and I was out. read more

Saw this place recommended on the Yukon Happenings Facebook page. I can see why! There was a fairly significant wait, but I did just walk-in. (I'll definitely make an appointment next time!) Everyone was very friendly & all the ladies getting their nails & toes did were chatting it up! The wait didn't feel so bad actually. A few of my nails had tore down into the bed & were scraggly. Jessica did a fantastic job! I fully trusted her recommendations of putting tips on my short nails & dipping them all. I picked out a gorgeous coral color with a little sparkle. Worst service I've ever received while getting my nails done. Tried a new salon and it was a big mistake, lesson learned. My nails were not clean around the bed and I asked they be filed more and she was not happy. She was then filing my skin, still not getting the area I was showing. I showed her again the area and she ignored me. Never said a word to me after that. It was so unprofessional and my nails look like a 4/10. read more

First timer. While getting a pedi, one of my nails on my toes cracked and was consequently a lot shorter than the others so I got an acrylic one out on. I requested an acrylic nail on the matching one on the opposite foot to get the same look. They argued that it looks the same already because it's the same length. They didn't understand that an acrylic nail looks slightly different regardless of length. On my full set, the technician messed up on one of my fingers. Instead of redoing it, she cut it shorter and kept the mess up...it looks like she just "band-aid" it. I was not happy with the outcome. To make things more unprofessional, I noticed the lady beside me asking a friend about nail color choices and opinions in which her nail technician looked at mine rolling her eyes speaking in Vietnamese. I understand that it could have been bad timing when all the signs were put together, but this behavior happened quite a few times during my visit, including the time I asked for an acrylic nail. I was moved to another individual to do a 3D design on my nails and when seated, the male technician did not greet me at all... I felt very uncomfortable at this nail spa, like I didn't belong, let alone could voice what I wanted done. Definitely not a good feeling. If I could rate 0 stars, I would. I haven't had a pedicure in almost a year. I'm a single mom that works hard for what we have. Like we all do, right? So I have put money aside to splurge for a pedicure. I haven't had one done since Mother's Day. Anyways. I came here and the girl that did my pedicure was rude. She did like a dollop of the callous remover and I asked if she could do it again she seemed upset. I'm paying for it, so why get mad? Two hours later the paint on my toe nails messed up. They said I could come back in but like I said, single mom. And it was a rare occasion that someone was watching my child. So probably won't be coming in. Just a horrible experience.
