Horrendous experience. I went in yesterday for a pre-wedding mani-pedi and I left crying. The pedicure was fine, uneventful. The manicure started with the tech mocking my hands and previous manicure, and got worse from there. I got acrylics and the third time I asked her to cut them shorter she tossed the clippers aside and started filing. But not gentle filing, aggressively done. The other women I was with were on the other side of the table at the opposite end, and while they were getting shoulder massages I was kind of dumbfounded. I didn't know if the physical pain was real, but it was. I'm including a pic of my fingertips to show I'm not exaggerating. I left a small tip, which didn't go unnoticed. Color me mildly disappointed. My brothers and I ended up at Pinky on a whim. Because as Jenn M. said it: #becausewereworthit. I feel like I was totally shafted on my pedicure. I remember thinking that the lady who did my pedicure had kinda phoned it in (because she took the least amount of time compared to the ladies who did the pedicures for my brothers), but I couldn't be sure since I didn't have a reference point. But once I got back home, I ended up having to finish her work, because... well because the work spoke for itself (e.g. I had to take the callous shavers (is that what those cheese grater thingies are called?) to the bottom of my feet a second time because I could visibly see evidence of her half-assed attempt. There was one lady (with glasses) who was working on my brother's pedicure though, and I remember feeling quite jealous that he got her, because she was putting some serious elbow grease into his pedicure. Alas, mine was elbow-grease-less. The massage chairs were totally awesome. They appear to be new, and are loaded with all sorts of newfangled options. That chair touched me in ways that would be quite inappropriate for a first date. So... Yeah... This would totally be a [*][*] review, but that stands for "Meh. I've experienced better" which is untrue, seeing as this was literally my first pedicure. So, [*][*][*] it is. Mostly for the massage chair. read more

I called and asked if they did hard gel nails. They said yes, so I made an appointment. Despite asking several times, I was not given hard gel nails. Instead I got lumpy and bumpy plain gel nails that I'm thoroughly unimpressed with. It's like there's sand in them. They're rough and the color is uneven. Towards the end I had to ask that one with a very noticeable ridge be redone. Also, a bloody finger and a bloody toe isn't ideal. The two stars is for the pedicure, which was fine. I suppose if you get acrylics it might be fine. I won't be back. Update: 11 days later and the wound on my toe hasn't healed. Edited to one star after consideration and now that my toe still hurts almost two weeks later. read more

I use to come to Pinkys at least every other week & it was fabulous! Bit the salon sold and I hadn't tried it until today under the new management. Sorry, but my pedicure was certainly NOT relaxing at all; the water was way too hot and it too three times advising so; the tech was rough; and a deluxe pedicure that lasted less than 30 minutes! oh, and she also burned me with the hot rocks! Great space and really comfortable chairs. My nails look great. Giving two stars because I am going home with pain. Nipped my nail cuticle too close during the pedicure and then scraped my leg with the foot scrub (picture attached). I didn't say anything about the cuticle because it quit hurting pretty quickly but my leg scrape still burns two days later and I mentioned it during the pedicure. I know it happens and a hand might slip but ‍ Probably won't go back because I could go somewhere else and not feel abused! read more

The manager and other main girl here are super rude! Chris is amazing at nail art and pedi's most of the others are friendly, but very little English and basic as far as nails and pedi's. My daughter has had multiple terrible experiences including hair in acrylic nails. When she went back they acted like it was her fault. She is blonde the hair was black... go figure. If your not getting acrylic Chris is your man but I'd find anywhere else to go for anything else. The attitudes here are stupid considering you are paying them. read more

I'm very picky when it comes to my nails but after driving by this salon a couple of times, I finally decided to try it! The salon is very clean, staff is friendly, and they do a phenomenal job! My friend is also very picky and will make sure to find a picture of what she wants her nails to look like prior to arriving. She showed the lady doing her nails the picture, and they made her nails look identical to the pic!! They also do a buy one, get second service half off deal which is awesome as nails can get pretty expensive!! I've been coming to this shop for a while and usually was treated very well. But the last two times I have had to had my nails repaired first time I admitted it was my fault from a fall on having to repair it. This time I got dip as usual #2 mood changing which I have had before. All my nails when I got home I noticed thick streaks on each then the next day the blue color turned yellow over night and my right thumb had a huge bulge on it. I had to work and finally made it back Tuesday to get the color and bulge fixed. I showed them my nails and the told me to take a seat. I then heard one of the ladies tell the group of 4 women on the side she was on that they can't help it if you use dark tanning lotion or smoke putting the blame on me. FYI I don't use tanning lotion and have had this color and my nails never turned yellow. After a long while the same lady had me come to the counter and accuse me of the things I heard her tell the other woman and had now said it loud enough for the rest of the people to hear. In which I told her it was incorrect. She had a girl I had never seen before fix my nail which all she did was buff off the clear coat and the dip was still yellow and she said let's hope a new top coat fixed it. She did one layer then asked the lady the next step she needed to do. I knew she looked like she was still in school and not sure if she is just helping for the summer. She put the clear coat only one then used the rub stuff after being told and they sent me on my way I was so upset. All the clear coat was chipping off by the next day. I have pics yes there is growth but from the pictures you can see the chipping off of clear coat. I will never go back after she tried to put the blame on me and my incompetence. Very disrespectful. This was obviously rushed work and the dip has altered its blue color. read more

I really liked that they pulled out a new, sealed set of clean tools when they did my nails. I got dips, and while it wasn't an awful job done, there were edges and lumps I ended up fixing with a file and refinishing with a clear coat. It's a little more out of my way than many salons in my area, but I went on recommendation of a coworker. The experience left a little to be desired, but I would go again if I was already in the area. read more

I'm horrible at making appointments. I tend to have a pretty flexible schedule, so if walk ins don't work for me, I can usually just find a time later in the day to come in (salon schedule permitting). I love that I was able to walk in and be seen immediately. I was promptly greeted and offered a beverage right away as I was being seated. I was lucky enough to score an appt with the owner, Jenny. She was very warm and pleasant but also didn't try to force conversation. The introvert that I am can always appreciate that. We chatted a little bit about the salon (I'm a former stylist myself - love their dedication to sanitation - huuuuge plus for me!) and the fact that they offer wine (yes! They serve Moscato, which, while not being my first choice is always a good option for the steamy, humid OKC summers). I was treated to a very nice basic mani (I'm a no frills kinda girl) polished off by a nice little massage. What an awesome experience and it only set me back $15! Next time I'm definitely upgrading to one of their fancier services. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone! read more
