Never again... been going there for about 2 years and never that great but this time was definitely the worse ever . I won't be going back. Nail polish was old and dry causing bubbles and making everything uneven. I'm not a complainer but decided to mention something for the first time . Older lady didn't speak English but tried to re do both nails again , and know it looks even worse than before . I was very clear how unhappy I was with the service but no one cared. Manager was right there and watched the whole thing without stepping in and try to make it better . Also they made sure who ever was there had water , soda ... First off I'd like to say that the experience I had at this nail salon was beyond the worst I've ever had. The lady doing my toes kept turning my feet and legs in weird positions so she can paint them. I asked her nicely not to be rough because I was dealing with a herniated disc and turning my legs like that was hurting my back, SHE STATED "JUST LOSE WEIGHT AND YOU'LL BE FINE" Implying that I am fat when the herniated disc was from an accident. Nothing to do with my weight. Perfect example of why people should keep things to themselves. Then, When I sat down for my manicure, I sat there for 3 hours because the nail tech did not know how to shape coffin nails, she did not apply more than two coats so I had streaks in my nails, i asked that she correct my thumb and pinky nail only, she then proceeded to grab the filer and took the polish off all my nails and mind you she did this as if she was inconvenienced. Three people at this point attempt led to fix MY NAILS and they were done ok...However, a few moments later when I left, I saw the nail polish on my left nails peeling off. While the right side was perfectly fine. BECAUSE The nail tech forgot to apply the clear polish for the finish look on the left side. I came back an hour later to get my money refunded because at this point being there 4+ hours was excessive. The nail tech again offered to fix them and with tears in my eyes I refused and again asked they refund me. The nail tech raised her voice and said "SIT, I will cut your nails off if you want your money back" if they wanted to make things right they would have at least refunded me and let me keep the atrocious nails so that I can go somewhere else and get them fixed. Nail Service is my Cheers for pedicures and sometimes when I'm feeling spunky a glass of wine! A welcoming group, who happen to be Simply Fantastic at their craft, Who would have thought "nail service" would be a salon, where, everybody knows my name! My favorite nail stylist is Kevin. He has a fan following at this salon and an appointment can be necessary to get a full set with him, but not always. Beautiful work, he listens to every critique and request, but most importantly he delivers! My real love for this store comes from their cleanliness. Super clean, tools that are sterilized and spa chairs that actually work! Compared to other nail salons their prices are right on par if not a bit cheaper, especially compared to some salons in the area! EG: for Fill with Pink/White solar, a Pedicure with design on the toes and eye brow wax I spent $76. GOOD!!! Ask for Kevin or his wife Amy for your mani and if you get lucky you'll have Tina for the most fantastic toes! Very upset with the situation I was put in today. I chose the deluxe pedicure and while I was distracted the man who was checking me in asked if I wanted lavender and I was under the impression that it was one of the scents they offered for the deluxe pedicure so I agreed. Then once I went to pay he said I had chosen a completely different and more expensive service then I had originally asked for because I said yes to Lavender. I hate spending more than $35 on a pedicure and this one was $50!!! Ultimately, it was my fault. I should've been more careful when speaking with the man. However, I felt like they knew I was distracted and they knew they could up charge me. Because it was a service that was preformed I paid full price and went on my way. I will not be back. And if you decide to visit here, be very clear and watchful when choosing your service. read more

I had not been here in a while and it has really gone down hill. It used to seem very clean, but today it just looked dirty all over and unorganized. Towels were dirty, the emery board used on my nails was well used by others. Their nail techs rotate in and out so you never see the same one twice when you go back. They have gone up in prices! They are mostly Vietnamese which is fine, except they only talk in Vietnamese which is very unsettling to me. When I get my nails done I'd like to be able to converse with the person who is doing them. I won't be going back. read more

I had a bad experience here. Not sure what happened. I had a NexGen manicure and it looked great when I left but 10 days it started lifting. We were on vacation so I was not able to go back to get it fixed. When I did get back there to show them what had happened, by then every one of my nails were in bad shape. She suggested to me that my nail bed was too oily to hold the polish. I'm disappointed with the service and will not use them again. read more

My sister came to town from Oregon and needed a fill a little later in the day and I had remembered this location was close by. She got seated pretty quickly as she knew what she was getting and I was checking out the prices (felt pressured and rushed even though there were people in front of me to be seated for their services first). I landed on getting a manicure ($15) and proceeded to choose my color. I was okay waiting a little longer so my sister and I could sit by each other and they quickly handed me a bottle of water. When I was finally seated they could not open the color I wanted- so I had to hunt again :/ the lady attending to my sister wasn't completely listening to her request and kept asking questions irrelevant to what she had requested. My lady was rushing and you could tell at the end result. A few nails didn't get a full stroke on the 2nd coat and the final coat didn't go on the full nail either. The fan that my nails were suppose to dry in front of was very dusty and with no one waiting behind and others still getting their nails done around us tried to rush us before my nails were dry. I will probably seek other spots before returning here. read more

After being a bi-weekly customer of this salon for FIVE YEARS, always being serviced by the same Nail Tech, Allen. I call today to make my appointment to be told Allen is no longer with the shop. I agree to take any tech available. 10 minutes later, Mike, the general manager, calls me back to tell me no other tech is willing to do my nails because I'm too difficult and says I will have to find another shop to service me. Their prerogative, of course, but it should be noted that after all of the business I've poured into this shop including bringing family and friends, this is the type of customer service they are willing to extend. It is both hurtful & disappointing... all because I want my shellac done well & feel it is my prerogative to voice if there is something I don't like about a service I am paying for. Now being treated this way, I wouldn't advise anyone to give these people your money. After all, their best tech Allen is no longer with the shop - don't bother. read more

Just got home from an incredible experience at nails service. Service was prompt and attentive. I got a deluxe pedicure and it was probably the best one I've had since I've moved to San Antonio. It was nearly a transcendent experience. I also had an eyebrow wax and it was a painless as a wax could be. The salon itself was unbelievably clean and they offer complimentary beverages including wine. I will definitely be going back. read more

Nails service is the best salon I've found so far! My mom and I always go here to get pedis because Tina is the best! She always applies the polish perfectly, trims the dead skin on our toes, and does the best leg massages! One day I decided to get a full set of acrylics. I read on Yelp that Kevin did a great job so I scheduled an appointment with him. I was super nervous because I'd heard some bad things about acrylics and I didn't know if it would hurt or anything. The nails were perfect, and applied beautifully in only 1 hour and 10 minutes. I got a clear sparkly tip instead of the traditional pink and white. Not only are the prices reasonable, but the drinks are complementary and the staff friendly and easy to understand. I will becoming to Nails service for a long time!! read more

I hate to leave a bad review because they were very friendly. However I got a mani/pedi and the manicure was awful. After one day the manicure chipped on two nails. I went back and they repainted all my nails. I watched her put coat after coat on with no drying time in between... I figured it was going to peal off in chunks... I have been going to this nail salon for many years, and recently they have been super rude to me and my mother. When I went to this nail salon to get my regular fill, the lady doing my manicure decided it would be a great idea to put a clear coat that you have to bake on with a UV on top of a regular nail polish. Well the day after i get them done, they cracked EVERYWHERE and it looked beyond terrible. So I went back in 2 days later and asked them to fix it.. She gave me an attitude and said that it was because it wasn't dry the whole way when she put the coat on and essentially, it was my fault. Well after she "fixed" my disaster of a manicure, I left. Later on in the day, I noticed it was cracking again! Mind you she promised me that it was completely dry and there would be no chance of chipping. Well I'm a busy full time college student and just decided I would leave it on for the standard three weeks. I went back today and they didn't seem to happy to see me. I showed the lady the type of design I wanted and she said they couldn't do it. Thats fine, but i was trying to figure out what I wanted and she say my nails, and asked what happened. I explained to her what happened and she said that you cannot put the UV coat on top of regular polish, and i was just like, "why did nobody tell me that?" Aren't they suppose to be the professionals? I understand everyone makes mistakes, but when you do, at least own up to it and do not place blame on your customers. read more
