I'd say steer clear especially with Lauren Lemon! Had two appointments booked. One for a fill and the other for nail art. One was at 345p and other at 515p per her booking my appointment. Tried calling regarding traffic and walked in 10 mins late. She then said I already charged a no call no show fee and can't do your nails. Mind you it's not even 4pm. I said okay well then just do solid nails and no art since I have two appointments. She went in the back for 7 mins and while in the back put me in as a no call and I got the text after being there and standing at her station. She came back out and said sorry I have no time. It's 407pm at this point and my second scheduled appointment is 515 but you can't do a simple fill. Morale of the story read reviews. There is a theme here. I came here on a whim for a pedicure on a random Tuesday at 5pm. I loved the experience! Everything for the beautiful decor to getting wine in a wine glass helped create a very classy, relaxing atmosphere. I got their summer special watermelon pedicure and everything smelt sooo good. A really really awful job. I got gelx with extensions. There was an insane amount of gel between my nails and the extension (as pictured) that made my nails look extremely thick and some were sticking up in a funny way as if the nail was growing up from the nail bed. My nails are wide so you have to make sure to shape them on the sides to make them look slimmer. These nails were not shaped at all and looked extremely wide and fake (also pictured). The cuticle work was very good but aesthetically the nails themselves were awful. The overall look was that of a regular stuck-on nail that I could buy at a convenience store and glue on myself. I did call and got them taken off for free, however I was not offered any sort of compensation for the horrible $80 job that was done (even though when I sent in pictures they did agree with me that there is too much gel between the nail and the extension). While I was there I saw the tech next to me do a great job on someone else. Was I offered any sort of voucher, I would of returned to see that tech. That did not happen however. I went elsewhere, paid nearly $30 less and left with nicely shaped and much thinner nails. Perhaps if you're going in for a manicure with no extensions this could be the place for you, as the cuticle work was really good. I, however won't be back. read more

I went to have an awful acrylic nail job fixed. I had the pleasure of meeting Ayanna. Now, this gal kinda freaked me out because she was so sweet, and so gentle, and really talked to me about my nails and the techniques that she used. I'm not a glam girl, I just have junky nails that are week and that I use as tools too much. She told me all about gel nail builders. We went that way instead. The whole process took quite a while, almost 2 hours. For her to safely remove the acrylics and then treat my hands and nails, and then the gel buildup. Now I have my own nails, they are strong, and just the way I wanted them. Ayanna was great. I've already rescheduled for my fills. Thanks!!!! read more

Where shall I start...I booked and appt for a gel manicure with level 1 nail art. I simply wanted a neutral color with star appliqués. In theory I thought it was pretty simple. But the nail tech just wasn't able to accomplish it. The lady was nice, I just wish she would have told me that she wasn't comfortable executing what I wanted. The manicure was uneven and the appliqués are sticking out of the polish. It's looks very rough and looks poorly done - pics attached. All of the above isn't even where my issue begins with this salon. I called to address my dissatisfaction with my service. I explained the aforementioned and before even finishing the lady who answered, very abrasively, explained that my only option was to come in and get it fixed... being that I just received a service I wasn't happy with I didn't feel comfortable going back to have them "fix" my nails, that they just messed up. I simply wanted a refund and to move on. I don't live close to this salon so to drive back to it again would be an extreme inconvenience, I'd already lost time going the first time. I initial asked to speak to a manager, the person who answered the phone refused to give me to someone else. Instead she insisted that she was the manager, I'd be willing to be she wasn't. And if she was, the owner seriously needs to reevaluate who they have managing their establishment. Jordan was extremely rude, abrasive and overall not the person you want to be greeting your paying customers. No where on the website or social media does it state they don't offer refunds. Needless to say, I will not be back to this salon. Not because of the nail technician, I would have definitely given her another chance. But Jordan has forever put a bad taste in my mouth with how she so comfortably talked down to me. Beware, stay away. read more

Oh and btw she has nice nails (y'all know nail techs with nasty nails is sooo common). Got a pedi from Erika and it was lovely (nice massage too!) Only issue is the wack lady in the front. I'm really disappointed. Polished seems to have a good reputation, and the price is reasonable. However, my manicure was somewhat streaky and is very chipped after only about a week. I was not offered anything to drink. All of the manicurists sit at the same communal table and just look at their phones, even the person helping you. My manicurist sat directly across from me and looked at her phone while my old gels soaked off. It was awkward. I think my polish could have used one more coat. She didn't put lotion on my hands or massage my hands when she was done with the polish. I won't be back. read more

I needed a pedi and decided to try out this spot since it's close to where I live. Parking is a little compact because of the gym and coffee shop next door. The place is cute but I should have known better when I realized how insanely dark it was inside! If you want nails it may not be an issue but for a pedicure it absolutely is. I literally could not see if the tech had gotten my toes clean from the short distance of my chair! When I got home is when I realized she had not done even a decent job. I ended up having to scrub all the dead skin off and trim the dead stuff around my toes and clean under my nails. I was a little bummed to leave my birthday pedicure (to which I paid a little more than I normally would because I had seen great reviews and the location was fun) with heels that were not smooth(I rubbed the bottom of my foot and there was still rough picks in my heel) and with my big toe messed up(I think the drying spray was too powerful and smeared the big toe). They do offer free drinks- of course the preggo me could only have water (womp womp-lol). The atmosphere is cute and comfortable. There are various options of colors- but they are spread throughout the salon walls. Overall, I am not sure if I can reccomend Polished, and do not know if I will return. read more

This business is super new and I had to try them this weekend based on their work shown on Instagram. I walked in immediately at opening time and others had already beaten me in. I was handed a paper to fill out about what services I would like and picked out my colors. I was also offered a beverage and they had the normal wine, soda, sangria offerings. My nail tech was Lu and I loved her. Lu took her time removed my dip powder nails from my prior salon and even hand filed them down as to not damage my nail beds. The best part of the experience? I didn't feel like a number. And I felt like Lu would really take care of my nails. I have been looking for a boutique salon for some time now and am so glad to have found them. I ended up with shellac nails with a metallic and studded accent nail. The cost was $45 before tip which is the same as many salons in the area. read more

I think the girl I had today was confused on where to stop painting. She had it all over my cuticles and now on the tips of my fingers. I asked her to remove it and she made a face so I told her never mind. I was excited that I had found a new nail place, but I didn't, wont be back. I wasn't going to write a review I because it wasn't really worth it, but here goes. I went in for a manicure and pedicure yesterday afternoon, the salon wasn't super busy. The overall look of the salon when you walk in is cute, a little dark but nicely decorated. They have a lot of color options for dip, which is nice since many salons are still just adding it to they're line up. Not sure if there was a receptionist or not, there's no one there at the front to check you in - which if your appointment based, there should be. The girl who did my nails was nice, not very talkative and keeping sniffle and wiping her nose with sweater - not the best thing when your working with people. The pedicure seemed quick. I paid for the black and white one which was suppose to be an upgraded version of their regular pedicure, but honestly seemed like a regular pedicure with a towel wrap at the end. The chair they sat me in was broken, which is not a big deal it happens, but there was no one else getting a pedicure, could have chosen literally any other chair then the broken one. By the time the manicure came I was a little weary already. The counter they do your nails out was a little dirty with nail polish stains, nail dust and what not. It wouldn't hurt to just clean it up a little with some nail polish remover. Again, manicure was fine but my nail tech seemed to be a little frazzled and lost. To take of my dip, she gave me the tiniest bowl for both hands. It was big enough for 1 hand. She didn't seem to have the patience to let it all come off in its own and kept using the mechanical tools to drill it off. I typically like to let it all soak off and use the tool as little as possible to not harm the nail. For shaping and filing, they use the cheapest and smallest nail files. They're like the little files you give to little girls at birthday parties. My $1.00 nail file from Walgreens is 100x better. My nails turned out fine but my nails themself were a little sore and burned a little afterward and passed it off as the tech having the power up too high or going over them too much. Except when I got home and ran something over my middle finger and noticed it was burning and stinging did I notice quite a large cut on in my nail. It literally still burns today. Overall, it's fine if you want a quick service but it's overpriced. I paid $20 more than where I normally got and it def wasn't worth it. The nail tech was fine, but just fine. Seemed frazzled and maybe like she was new. **UPDATE** It's 4 days later and my nail is already chipped. Dip usually lasts me 3 weeks, this chipped while washing dishes. Won't be back. read more

I took my daughter here to get her nails done. When I called to make the appointment I was clear about what she wanted to have done. However, once we were there the lady (sadly I don't know her name) seemed very irritated and unhappy to be at work. My daughter picked a dip color they were out, she picked a different color, they were out- so the lady actually went and picked out a color and when we asked what shade of pink it was she said don't worry- it's very similar to the first two choices. (Which it wasn't) 2. So my daughter wanted coffin shaped. The lady then said she had someone coming in and won't have time to do that shape. I told her they just continue soaking off her old nails and we will pay for the removal but go somewhere else where they wouldn't be rushed. Well I notice the lady starting to glue on tips so I ask what she's doing because she just said she didn't have time. (I'm sitting a few seats down getting my nails filled). With an ugly attitude- she said she would just do it. Needless to say, they weren't the shape or the color my daughter wanted. I did call the owner before leaving and she was kind and said she would fix my daughters nails the next day, but after sitting for nearly 2 hours- the last thing I was interested in doing was coming back to sit through that again. A caveat to my horrible experience: My first time here with Stacie was so great (Winter 2021)... fast forward to March 2022 - I booked an appointment on a Wednesday at 10:30 pm for a 5 pm on Thursday, I tried rescheduling the next afternoon and they tried charging me a cancellation fee of 75%... the lady on the phone was incredibly rude and condescending when I said "it's RIDICULOUS to charge a cancellation fee for someone trying to reschedule..." Furthermore, the policy is for cancellations within 24 hours but I initiated the appt LESS than 24 hrs ago so how can I be held to this stipulation?? AND I was trying to reschedule so they could keep my business. But since they decided to treat what could have been a loyal customer this way, I'll take my business elsewhere. They won't be around very long with this kind of practice. A way around this is to prohibit customers from booking within LESS THAN 24 hrs FYI. read more

I went in on a whim after leaving a meeting at Local from next door. They were able to get me in for a shellac mani and I am super super super pleased with my experience. The front desk gal was attentive, organized, and nice. My nail Tech was great and did a wonderful job and I was super happy with my finished mani. The aesthetic of the place is fabulous. Clean. Modern. Uncluttered. Their price point is reasonable. They offer you a variety of drinks and it's great. I opted for a water since it was a weekday during work but I may get a sangria or mimosa next time. I am looking forward to going back. read more

Update** Less than 10 minutes after posting this review the friend I was with received a phone call from the salon and asked me to call them back which I did. After calling them back I was told that they were sorry for the mix up and offered to give me the hot stones for free next time I come in, they also stated that they offered me drinks including beer when I got there which was true. Going back to my previous review I was not aware that I had to ask for the champagne, I thought it came with the service, I also understand that people forget and mess up. I was expecting them to credit me back the difference for not receiving the pedicure that I had paid for but instead I was offered a discount the next time I go. Which I will not be going back. I still will say that the girls there were very nice when I received my pedicure, I just wish I had received what I had paid for. I have had a pedicure before and never didn't receive something that the package I selected was supposed to come with. Kudos to the manager for attempting to contact me within 10 minutes of posting my review but I thought that asking me to take down the review when it was not a horrible review to begin with, and telling my friend to ask me to take it down, plus asking me when I spoke to them was unprofessional. The people at this salon are great but the lack of professionalism after not receiving the service I paid for was unprofessional. I would have updated this review as fixed after they attempted to resolve it but the fact that they asked me to take it down when the review wasn't bad to begin with plus only offering me something off my next visit just did not seem right. I stopped by Polished nail lounge today to get a manicure for an upcoming social event. I was completely caught off guard by how beautiful, fresh and clean the place looked... obviously this is a new place, but even so it is very well put together. The crystal chandeliers were an opulent touch. When I saw the row of brand-new massage spa chairs, I decided to splurge and get a pedicure as well. I'm so glad I did. The massage during my pedicure was probably the most relaxing thing I ever felt. I ended up getting the French manicure and they turned out absolutely perfect. The champagne and strawberries made me feel like I was truly being spoiled. I'm not quite sure what the other reviews regarding high prices were all about, I felt the prices were extremely reasonable, especially for such a nice place. I've certainly paid higher prices in places that were nowhere near as nice as this one. I'm so glad this place is near my house, I will certainly be coming back. read more

I received a shellac mani and pedi here and it was fantastic. The prices are reasonable for the work preformed. Those on here complaining about price must not know what the price for quality work is. The salon is super cute and inviting. They offer wine, sangria, mimosas, margaritas, water and other beverages. A+ in my book! I will def be going back to get my nails done and I would disregard the negative feedback on here because this place was great! Polished Nail Lounge gives a fantastic nail experience at an affordable price! The salon itself is stunning and clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. They deftly balance giving advice with giving the customer what they want such that your nails turn out perfectly! For instance, I wanted a very understated, transparent glitter for the holidays. Stacie suggested that we put one layer of a nail-like polish underneath to cancel out any discoloration my nails might have from removing my previous gel polish. She was spot-on with her color selection, and my nails look fabulous. I thought they had a great variety of nudes and reds / pinks while also providing colorful, glittery options for the more adventurous.
