I just moved in the Oakleaf area so I was out looking for a nail salon and thought I'd check this place out. The store was clean and had enough staff to pedicure chair ratio. All of the chairs were full. Many options for Pedi to choose from with different pricing. Some places do not offer a 'menu' for pedicures and make an assumption that one knows what sort of pedicure they want. Courteous staff with fast service. Not sure what some of the other reviewers were talking about since I did not have the same experience of getting cut or my polish being bubbly or cracking. Recommend making an appointment on the weekends or holidays since this place is in a very busy location. BTW -since we live in Florida--insect repellant makes the nail polish bubble. read more

This is my place to go. All of the nail techs do awesome work but Kyrstal is my go to. If you can create a design she can do it. If you are not the creative type, she can create for you. Don is my go to for pedicures. When I tell you my experience with him takes me to another world. I have to remember that im in a salon. His works relaxes me to the point I find myself falling a sleep, which sometimes can result in me snoring. I always schedule ahead bc I want to make sure I get to see Krystal and Don. If I could leave zero stars I would! When someone is spending their money on a service, they should be able to express what they want and the "business" be able to accommodate such request, as long as it's within their scope of expertise. During a recent visit, our first mind you, it was expressed that we wanted "square nails" however the technician insisted on a completely different shape. After telling the "tech" that the shape was not what we wanted and we were unhappy, he became very hostile. The nail tech forcefully grabbed my daughters hand and aggressively cut the acrylic nail. He did so while belittling her and telling her that she wasted his time and she should return to the place that she normally visits. As a result of the situation, her nail beds are very thin and brittle and her cuticles are bleeding. Avoid this establishment at all costs! read more

This place is decent, but it depends on who you get. I've had my nails looking great walking out, but I also had one guy that did not do good work and ended up going back the next day and requested that they fix it. They did without any questioning. I walked in at 6:20 PM ask for a fill-in they close at 8 PM they told me they were not able to do it because it was getting late however there was nail techs available. This is the fourth time. These folks are always rude when people walk in. I think most people go there for convenience. I will no longer go there, nor will my daughter and I will make sure anyone I know avoids the bad experience. My nails have waves in them and aren't sculpted correctly. The guy who did my pedicure rushed through the entire process and they weren't even busy. Not that it would be acceptable, but still. My toes looked like they were painted by a toddler. He was rough with the hot rock massage to the point that it was painful. The young lady that did my eyebrows was super sweet and did a really great job! They try to nickel and dime you for everything I went in for a manicure which is normally $20 or $25 and said, but this time I want to have the SNS and they told me it would be $70. I asked the man doing my nails to fix the shape of one nail and he immediately got defensive. He said to "wait til he was done and if it still needs work he will have one of the ladies do it". That was not the end of it though, the rest of my season he was rough and aggressive with my hands. I really felt like he was trying to hurt me with his filing. I should have got up and left, but the place was full and I was just trying not to be sensitive. Then he told one of the ladies that I had a problem. HORRIBLE!!! ZERO STARS. First visit to this shop and it was horrendous. My niece and I went in to get our nails done and inquired about the products that they use such as powder and primer brands, etc. The manager was short and refused to answer my questions. I inquired about their policy for lifting and/or cracked nails and he suggested I read the refund & satisfaction policy. I let the manager know that I wanted to proceed with the service anyway and it wasn't a problem. He insisted I read the policy first and then proceeded to tell me that he did not feel comfortable doing my nails and there was not another technician that would service me at this location . The technician working on my niece's nails cut off the tips that she had already glued on and said she did not feel comfortable doing a 14 year young's nails!!! SERIOUSLY??? My niece didn't say a word other than showing the technician a picture of what she wanted done to her nails. My niece walked out with aluminum foil on her nails. I now travel 25 mins from Green Cove for Miss Mary's divine pedi mani massage and nail work. I use to come here when I lived in Oakleaf and was always pleased with the level of service from Mary and her staff. A real plus the massage chairs work and are a treat, most chairs at other places are not that comfortable but these seem to be pretty nice, these are new chairs, not the one's she had when I used to come there. I used to come in a few years ago and made appointments with Krystal and she did a great job so i decided i come in the other day because my regular nail salon was closed. i sat down and requested a full set with gel polish. the man kept making small comments about the appearance of my natural nails and was talking to me very rudely. i asked for a square shape and i left with very lumpy acrylic and the edges were round and uneven and i had nail polish all over my fingers. he was working very fast and wasn't paying any attention to shaping them correctly. the total was 70 dollars. once i was all done i went up to the front to pay and he asked if i would pay with credit or debit so i told him it was cash. while i'm pulling my wallet out of my purse he looked me up and down and questioned if i could afford the service that i just got. i politely handed him my cash and was on my way home to completely re-file my nails myself. overall a very poor experience and would not recommend. read more

My pedicure was soooo relaxing and my heels felt great! I picked out a great color(my hidden super power) for nails and feet. I got a gel manicure and I love that it didn't peel. I got my nails done for the first time and they hurt so bad! But I assumed that's just how it was. Got them done a second time and they hurt again, but worse. If any of the nails are crooked, they will just say your finger is crooked and not fix it. So for manicures or full sets, find somewhere else to go. Pedicures, however, are pretty good. The staff (most of them) are really nice and will have a conversation with you while they're doing your feet. BUT. You will bleed every time and I just don't like that. Went to Nails So Happy with my mom today. It was our first time coming after a friend of hers recommended it. We didn't know what to expect and we're pleasantly surprised! We both got gel manicures ($35) and regular pedicures ($30). Our thoughts - it's a bit pricey but worth it. We're pretty particular when it comes to nails too and we're both very happy with the job. Amazing salon! Clean, communicate well, great prices. I went to Amanda and she took me at the last minute no problem to do my feet, nails and eye brows and all though it was past the time we agreed she did not rush and did the most perfect job ever and I have been to a lot of nail salons and my aunt even owns a school I used to teach at. I would recommend this place by far. Every one I looked around that was being helped had beautiful nails and feet being done and were VERY happy. My friend and I decided to go get our feet done and when we got there the place was filthy.. when we finally got to the pedicure chair there were no liners in the tub part they didn't wash them after uses .. when It got time to pick my nail color I picked gel lavender she came back with a pink gel .. I don't know Why I continue to come here when I come into town. This first time I came here: The young lady cut me and I was bleeding for a while. My nail polish was bubbly My polish cracked the next day 2 days later I had more hang nails and dry skin peeling up. The second time which was a couple days ago I asked the gentlemen to please manicure my nails to where there is no dry skin around my nails... I touched around and keep asking him to please fix it and he couldn't ? Iv had my nails manicured flawless and lasted weeks not TWO DAYS. When the young man was done he didn't sanitize the tools and put then back in his small box, again disgusting. When he buffed my nails the buffer/sander was brown as hell, again disgusting. I notice here they lightly pick at the dead skin which results in flakey skin around the nails the next day. My boyfriend experience: This is really disgusting you ready... This old lady said she couldn't find her cuticle pusher so instead she used her finger nail to push up his cuticle.
