You got me once, but you won't get me again! One out of 10 I do not recommend! I asked Nail Tech if she could do a design and she replied, yes. I showed her the design and she said yeah, she could do it. In the process, I noticed my natural nail-bed burning a bit and I told the nail tech. She said it was natural. my nails were humpy and thick. I asked her to file down the nails, and she got an attitude and kept sighing! Then when she goes to polish my nails, she said, they're out of gold polish! My nails look nothing like the picture, when I asked she said it would be more money- but with the experience I was having. I said never mind, because she didn't understand the assignment. Then I get a pedicure and they literally soaked my feet; the hot water felt good; put lotion on, and polished. She did not clip my cuticles or do anything. I will not be back! Garbage!! read more

My daughter went to get her nails done and I feel as though she was overcharged and they didn't fully disclose the prices of the services. I find that they seem to prey on young girls and inflate quoted prices. Services she received: - fill in - pedicure and nail color application - eyebrow waxing I don't understand how the bill is $137.00. So in full disclosure, I don't get my nails done so I am depending on you who do. My daughter explained that she received a quote of $35 for the fill in, $15 for the wax and $30 for the pedicure. 35+30+15= does not equal $137.00. Just to level set I called Silver Nails myself and these are the prices I was quoted over the phone. $35 fill in $15 for eyebrow wax and $30 for pedicure (with other services) I feel as though they saw a young girl and took advantage of her meekness. While I was there complaining to the staff that I found this unacceptable, another lady shared that they quoted her $5 to do her toddlers nails and was charged $30.00 that's insane! I repeat do not come to this nail salon. I got my nails done within a week three of my nails started breaking. I have gel polish on there. I have never had a chipped nail, and I have gel polish, except when I go to this nail salon. Wanda ladies wanted to argue with me and tell me that because my nails are long, but they're not that's the reason why they're breaking no it's because the services is not good here and I do not do nails good here I would recommend do not ever coming here. read more

I recently visited this establishment for the second time. During my first visit, I received a pedicure and manicure. Per usual, when I go into a nail salon, I'm asked if I want gel. I always answer no polish (I don't even know what that is). I ask for a buff shine on my hands--nothing on my toes. With the first visit, no issue. I was pleased. Today, I enter and was met with the same question, per usual, and my answer was the same. I was asked by the person who greeted me AND by the tech who did my service. When the manicure was nearly complete, the tech asked again if I wanted clear polish, saying "men do that all the time." I said, "no. Buff shine please." They proceeded to then tell me that they don't have buff shine. I expressed that I received the service last time I was there. They continued to say they don't have it. I asked why they didn't tell me they didn't do the service when I initially asked for it when I walked through the door. No answer was given. I won't be back. read more

I was able to walk right in which is fine because it wasn't very busy but everyone was occupied for sure. But I didnt leave with what I asked for. I asked for a sharp rounded French tip and they had a picture of what I wanted. I feel my nail work was rushed and not carefully done. With French tip you have to be precise when lines are involved. she got me in and out, I asked her to do a couple over but I was still not satisfied. The lines were very sloppy. New to Georgia this place is close to my house so I've tried it TWICE. MY 1st visit there were 3 of us and the services were very inconsistent I've been getting nail services for over 20 years and this place is just SUBPAR....It may look like a really nice shop, but the skill level def is waste of $$$ I don't think people really know quality because there are tooooo many extremely basic places here in business....every shop I try there are language barriers and unsatisfactory work Pedicures lack shaping, skin removal at heel of feet, time needed for quality outcome, and they lack efficiency to service consistent volume I'm waiting on the lady that I scheduled an appt with now that didn't remember that she had an appt. First time I went I got a mediocre pedicure and a full set. My daughters nails were popping off before 2 weeks. That was my first red flag.. I went back without her this time. My nails are cute but the price this time is way more expensive. And i am pretty sure my big toe is INFECTED!!! I will be calling my doctors office in the morning to verify if it is. Powder Springs Salons need to get it together! This was my second visit to this shop and I'm walking away disappointed AGAIN. All I wanted was a Gel mani & a pedi. The pedicure went well, but the manicure went terribly wrong. I had to choose several times on a gel color because they did not have the matching color for my pedicure once we finally got the color together, I had to deal with a tech that seemed eager to start on his next client...... He wasn't very nice....I express to him that my nails were not turning out as I expected, he said its because I picked the wrong color, even suggested that I should have picked a darker color ( I don't think it was the color that cause you to not apply polish to my entire nail), after expressing that I wasn't happy, the not so friendly nail tech became friendly, asking me my name and wanting to chit chat while continuing to mess up my nails-lol, which is almost identical to what happened two weeks prior with an elderly lady that worked on my mani! They do not know how to use gel nail polish!!!!! I didn't have time to ask for a do over because it takes to much time to remove the gel polish. If I could give a 0, I would. I have been coming here for years. The ONLY person I'd let do my nails is the owner Sherrie. I've tried other workers, but they were either nice and did a horrible job, or they didn't care how they handled your nail job. I have had my cuticles drilled on at least 6 times and each time I moved the woman got frustrated and asked me not to move. I politely said, I am moving because you are filing my cuticle with the drill tool. The man sitting to the rear is rude and the young lady named Bee Bee, I believe, does a good job, not as good as Sherrie, but when I complimented her and said that I will let her do my nails if Sherri is not available, this young girl told me that she already had enough clients and didn't need any more. Could she have been any more humble? With the reviews that this place is getting, she'll be lucky to keep her nail tech job. Normally, Sherrie would do my nails, but each time I came, this year 2022, she either was working on someone, when I made an appointment or she'd have me waiting. Sometimes, She would push me onto another nail tech or another time, I had an appointment and she had to leave early. The next time I had an appointment, because I needed my nails done b4 I went on a trip, this woman didn't even show up. One of her employees called and the employee never said whether she was coming or not. I waited 45 minutes for this woman and I left and NEVER came back and NEVER will. Her attitude changes, depending on who her client is at that time. I'm never returning again. They all need customer service classes. This place is so terrible. I went in to get a pedicure. I was sitting and waiting for a chair. They sat people before me that had came in after me. Eventually they sat me. My water was cold. The lady didn't greet me. I told her I had gel on my toes before she started. She had no idea what she was doing when it came to taking the gel off. She couldn't get it all off. She scrubbed my feet so hard it left cuts and raw spots. I was in pain the entire time. My nails aren't all shaped the same and the paint job is absolutely horrible. I'm so mad. I will never come back here. The only nail place I can go to that actually knows what they're doing is Hiram Nail Spa. I've been going to silver nails for about 4 months. Being a man, I may require less than some women with my standard manicure and pedicure. I have done walk ins sometimes as well as appointments. I've never experienced a problem with the staff or unrealistic waiting. I expect to wait if I didn't set an appointment. I always go to Gracie and she does an excellent job. I tip her generously (in my opinion) each time I go. I'm always greeted when I walk in (mostly by name) and when I ask I'm always given an estimate on how long I may be waiting. No problems at all with this shop and I refuse to venture and try another. I give them 5 Stars. read more

We got there at 11:45 and didn't leave until after 2:30 just for pedicure. Staff was not kind at all. I sat in the pedicure bowl for an hour until anyone got to me. Water was cold. The nail tech was not good at all it was a half a@& job from filing to scrubbing the bottom of my feet to massaging the lotion/oil mixture. She wanted to charge extra $5 for the bottom of my feet. I mention to her she didn't even "scrub" that part of my foot, she scrubbed my ankle. Trust me if I knew my foot had thick layers of callous I would of paid the additional to get it removed. I stopped the owner and she looked annoyed without looking or listening to the issue. She said you have basic pedicure... I understand that however she did not even do the$30 basic work. My lil one and I have been to this nail salon twice within the last month. I was surprised to see they had remodeled since my last visit a few years ago. The salon is very clean and the staff were kind. I highly recommend Danni he did such a great job, was very funny, and paid attention to detail which very few do in this industry unfortunately. He told me "I made your nails look bomb" and he was 100% right. One thing I really appreciated is that with every step he showed me what he was doing and asked if it looked good. I think that a lot of people getting their nails are just afraid to speak up but he made sure everything was to my liking especially the polish color which we changed twice since the original jelly color didn't look as dark as the swatch. The WORST service EVER! Purchased myself a manicure and acrylic nails and my friend a manicure and gel nail set. I did not receive a manicure and had a new set of acrylic nails applied in about 8 minutes. My friend also did not receive her manicure and had gel nails slapped on in about a record breaking 5 minutes! It is unbelievable because when I told the check out person about the rush jobs and dissatisfaction she appeared to not comprehend; however, when I asked about how they accept tips and services at the beginning of our visit they understood VERY well. Horrible Service. I have lived in Powder Springs for 20 years. I have only visited this nail salon for convenience. The owner Sheri takes advantage of the fact that she has a large clientele since her shop is only one of two that I know of in this area. They will book appointments, and still have you wait at least half hour before you receive service. To add insult to injury, you are offered no apologies for your wait. It is very apparent, that she has enough clients that it no longer matters the level of service offered. Disclaimer: The address doesn't look correct so just to be clear this review is for Silver Nails located in the Publix plaza behind the Wendy's next to the Powder Springs police department. Tried to get a pedicure on a Thursday evening around 6pm. Anne started to help me immediately. My toe nails were clipped with a cuticle clipper and my cuticles were barely even touched. The tools looked dirty and she seemed to be in a rush. I asked her to clip my cuticles and she told me she already did. She didn't. I asked if they offered different pedicures assuming that this was some sort of joke. She then began to shave my feet without adding any sort of product for all of two seconds. Then slapped a drop of scrub across my legs once and put my foot back in the water. Mind you this entire process lasted a matter of 2 mins max. I could've done this at home. She says she couldn't understand me so she ignored me and grabbed another woman that worked there. I explained to her that my feet were barely touched and then that woman reassured me she would double check. I explained that she already double checked twice and my feet look the same as when I walked in. That woman walked away. So I told her that if she was in a rush that I could wait for someone else. She ignored me until I said ma'am. She then looked at me and asked if I was okay and I said no. She immediately hopped up and obviously went on a rant to her other coworkers and stormed off. She then continued to go off to the owner about me. I asked them if there was a problem and everyone smiled and pretended like nothing was happening. I reassured them I would leave a review for them. I had an appointment with THE OWNER, made by my mother earlier in the week by calling the owner on her cell phone and scheduling personally with her. upon arriving 5 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment the owner was beginning someone else, a walk-in. She did not greet me or even acknowledge my presence or appointment. When I asked her if I could begin soaking off my SNS she replied someone would be with me and never advised her staff to do so. I had to ask an employee to soak me myself. 25 minutes later the employee wrapped my fingers in aluminum did not file or drill top layer off (so ultimately the wraps did nothing and did not remove SNS). The employee while wrapping said he would be doing my nails. I advised I had an appointment with owner and he said no he would be doing me. Did not ask me but told me. So not only was the the owner unprofessional but completely decided to not do my nails that were a scheduled appointment, and did not even have the courtesy to have a conversation let alone communicate with me or apologize. The employee then began someone else! Both of the customers being done by owner and the employee offered to wait as they were walkins. The owner and employee said no. I sat quietly listened and observed. This was an additional 20 minutes later. I did not make a scene or become combative, I walked out and went else where to be properly serviced after waiting 45 minutes after my appointment time and getting nowhere. DO NOT GO TO SILVER NAILS SALON! Terribly unprofessional and inconsiderate. My mother was a regular and was present during encounter, she will no longer go there. I previously went to get my nails and pedicure there, I was overcharged for my pedicure and my nails were dont terrible. This place is horrible. I wish I had read the reviews before going. I went in for a full set french tips and a pedicure. The pedicure was fine. Nothing special but not terrible. They only had one person who could do nails and this young woman does not know what she is doing. She put the the french tips in the middle of my nail bed instead of the tips of my nails. It was ridiculous looking. While she was putting them on I was thinking this doesn't seem right but I wasn't sure. After she put all of them on I knew this wasn't the way they were supposed to look. I told her I didn't like them and the nail tips were put too far down. She needed to put them closer to the tips of my actual nails. She caught an attitude cut them off and told me and I quote "This is the way I do nails and if you don't like them I can't help you". She didn't even attempt to fix the nails as I requested.
