First off, I just want to say, I will do a full write up of the beers over at BeerBrosBlog.com, this is really just about the experience of the place itself. Here's the deal. They haven't been open 2 years yet, they don't offer bottles, they sell growlers, do a growler exchange, and sell kegs, along with some random merch. If you want small doses to try the brew, do a tasting. Any time they are open, you walk in, plonk down $3, and get 6 flights of their beer. Yes, $0.50 for every 3-4 oz of their beers... do the math people. That is insane. Oh, and you get to keep the glass you drank from. Now if you by something from their merch table, you get $2 back on one of the tastings. So we bough a Naked Dove pint glass for $3. Now do the math with me here. We got 2 rows of tastings - including their summer seasonal farmhouse ale, amber ale, German style bare bock, berry naked black razor, IPA, & porter - 2 commemorative tasting glasses, one pint glass... $7! Where I come from 1 pint is $7... on a good day. The beers were pretty solid as well. So was the staff, we got to meet wife of the owner, and the son of the owner, and they gave us much of the back story. Real down to earth people who know what they got, and it is only going to get bigger. Check BeerBrosBlog.com int he coming weeks for more on the beer.

Yeah T.R. has the killer lakeside spot but what lousy beer. This place? Cornfield view. Superior brews. Worth the stop!

Great little microbrewery. Good variety of beers and all well made. Service was excellent. Will definitely be back again.

Lincoln Hill Farms - A tall, grim reaper statue and another grim reaper and a devil. I'm not sure where the ghost came from.

I had heard about Lincoln Hill Farms, but hadn't been to see a show there yet. There was a…read morebluegrass band playing Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia music so my friend and I thought we'd check it out. It's located pretty close to CMAC in Canandaigua and definitely is a farm. Smell of cow manure gives it away lol. They must've expected a big crowd because they had parking attendants and they charge $10 but they give you a token for five dollars off a drink. They have a decent sized stage and very good sound system. There's a big area in front that is for dancers, but with the small crowd we had that was only partially filled. They have some picnic tables available and also a covered area that was for weed growers that had long picnic tables as well. We brought our own folding chairs and sat in them for a while. They have good drink choices there and the food wasn't so bad either. They have barbecue food and fried food. And they make all their sauces on site. Check out my pics of the menus. I split the chicken fingers and fries with my friend. For the band's second set, we went up to the VIP area upstairs which they didn't charge for that night . Standing up there, you got a great view of the sunset and of the band and the whole surrounding area. As I said, the sound was very good and the vibe was great. It's not a fancy place but if you get into the outdoor farm experience, it's a great place to see a show. They also do private events there and weddings.

This is a nice and chill music venue but I recommend a few updates to make the guest experience…read moremore enjoyable. If you allow refillable water bottles, then why don't you have water stations?? A staff member told me to use the bathroom sink water. Not my first preference, but fine. The water was so warm which is great for handwashing but it was not suitable for drinking on a hot summer day and the faucet was so short I couldn't even fill my Nalgene, which is what most people use. There's also not a lot of viewing room for concerts once people film up the center of the crowd area.
