We decided to enroll Paco in Sit Means Sit, and we are beyond grateful we did. Matt has been absolutely amazing with Paco. He is patient, knowledgeable, and truly cares about the dogs he works with. He always took the time to answer my questions and made sure I had the right tools and guidance to continue Paco's training at home between sessions. The transformation has been incredible. Paco now comes when called the first time, sits in place, and best of all, walks calmly right next to me. He no longer pulls, jumps, or walks out of control. He was charging people and dogs while walking ONLY with me. And growling at and even attacked one of our cats, who for reference was his best friend for ages. They'd even sleep together and played a lot. I wanted Miles to get to training before we ended up with him biting someone was my greatest fear. So we picked him up on 4/20 in the morning and went over basics with Brian. Miles was EXHAUSTED for the first few days. Obviously from all that physical AND mental work. But he was immediately different. SO chill. Completely relaxed. By Tuesday of last week (just three FULL days after being home, almost 4,) I was already able to walk him and get Heel, Sit, Down and no reaction to people OR dogs passing with just a 1 tap on the remote. We started with a 3 or 4 the first few days.Miles regularly does GREAT with just this level. We went back on Friday, 4/26 for a session to follow up with Brian. We were VERY pleased with Miles progress as was Brian. We worked on the heel to perfect it and also Tie down, the leash stand and reviewed a few questions. Because Miles was doing so well, Brian suggested that maybe he'd do well with agility work. So he set him up a small course, and put him through it. Well Miles did NOT like it. He LOVED it!!! He had SO much fun. And he was doing AMAZING. He caught on SO fast. So fast rbat Brian sent us specs to build the jumps!! We also worked on high object "place." And Brian gave us lots of tips on that. With it only being 9 days since our pickup and 13 days since he started training, I'd say this was 1000% worth this training. We didn't have a BAD dog but a dog that needed some tweaks and some humans that needed help doing it. Now my husband and I look forward to walks and spending time with and taking him places. And Miles therefore gets MORE time with his people. Ellie, our daughter, LOVES doing "place" and commands with him and Jack, our son, is LOVING agility SO much that he and his dad already started building Miles jumps!!! We aren't very far into this but so far 5 HUGE stars. Thank you Brian!!! Also the office staff has been tremendous. They are responsive and kind and great at following up. 9ur entire experience from consultation to two weeks out is excellent!

Our other dog passed away a few weeks ago, and Coach struggled to find his footing without…read morehis sister, and we lapsed in our reinforcement of training so some new behavior issues began popping up with our boy. I reached out to Dick to inform him of our loss and of Coach's subsequent problems-he got out to our new house as soon as he could, we worked him for a couple of hours this morning. We are so grateful for Dick, he's always there to answer questions, he's upfront and honest about what we're doing that's creating issues and he makes the training fun and enjoyable for all of us! I know he'll help us guide Coach through his grief and when we're ready to add to our family, we know Dick will be there to help every step of the way!

Dick was able to identify Hazel's problems immediately and right away organized a game plan to minimize her bad habits. He reiterated that training is not going to be an overnight thing, however after the first day of training , I can tell Hazel was reacting positively to the certain changes. She is still stubborn and sometimes going back to the bad habits, but I can always know that I can contact Dick if I ever need help with anything. It was a pleasure to work with him and just know that if you sign up with him, you'll have a person in your corner no matter the time or day.

    One of the smaller Petco stores, it still has everything I need. Since I use SoPhresh kitty litter,…read morewhenever I finish a jug I put it in my car so I can refill when I pass a Petco. The Tigard location is the perfect stop if I'm making a Costco run. The litter refill station is just to the left of the door and it's always full and has funnels and scoops available. A refill is $5.99 for 16 pounds, a great deal, and it's the best kitty litter. Hardly any tracking and zero smell. A 16 pound jug lasts 3 weeks with 2 cats. Staff was friendly and patient as I stumbled with the app to move my rewards to the "loaded" status so I could use the $5 credit. Unlike every other loyalty card, with Petco you have to move the reward to your card, which they call loaded, in order for it to reflect when you enter your phone number. It's way too complicated; it should automatically deduct the reward. There is no sense in saving them as they expire! This is the fault of headquarters, not the individual store. In this case, the staff member was very patient as I went through all of the steps. There is plenty of parking out front and close to I-5 and 217 For easy access.

Left to run errands and was called within the hour for pick up. That was fast. She didn't express anal glands because "they didn't need it". That's a first, but I let it go. I don't think flea shampoo, or any shampoo, was used. Both dogs started itching when I got home and they just didn't smell or seem clean. The whole vibe was weird. Although she was extremely happy with the tip I gave her. Yeah, never again.

    I want to start by saying Dani, the trainer, was very helpful and provided great feedback in forms…read moreof video sent via text. Truly the only good thing about my experience here. My aussie got her first heat cycle at 8 months and I was told she was allowed back in a few weeks once her cycle was complete. She was attending day care and training sessions a couple times a week. Unfortunately, I had some other personal matters come up and will be moving so I asked for a refund. They will not offer a refund on services and offered store credit instead. Okay, fine. I scheduled a weekend boarding to use up my remaining credit and I get a text this morning asking if my dog was spayed, if not she was not allowed to return. I understand the need for the policy but I was never made aware and was told previously by a staff member it was not necessary. I am not in a position to get her spayed right now, plus I am moving states next month. They still refuse to offer a refund of nearly $300. That is a good chunk of money that apparently they intend to keep. Doesn't matter that store credit never expires, I will not be able to use it. They made a mistake with lack of employee knowledge on policies and refuse to right their mistake and now stealing my money. This is wrong. I was emailing the owner back and forth and I am disappointed with their handling of this situation. I had my dog groomed and bathed on 2 separate occasions and she came back with mats and not dried properly. Some staff members were very standoffish and unwelcoming at drop off. There is no access to cameras and I was denied access to the facility to see where my precious pup would be. I do not recommend this facility.
