First, I love taco's and these did not disappoint. The taco shells were perfection, the meat grilled and not greasy. this has quickly become a must stop for us when in Miami. The atmosphere is dark and sexy inside. It's dimly lit and sets the mood. There is patio seating if you prefer that. The service is their downfall. There is an automatic 20% gratuity added regardless of service. It def hinders the experience imo. Why provide excellent service when you know you are getting a good tip anyway?? This is a typical tourist trap probably connected with the local cartel that keeps market prices high and overcharge tourists staying in the walkable area. Their tacos are not bad but for street tacos they are pricey even during happy hour. They charge a standard 18% gratuity. They might as well charge that fee into the food price because it is mandatory but most likely they separate the line item to avoid additional sales tax on revenue. The place is dark and dingy for a highly rated place. After this first day experience in south beach im avoiding any of the other popular tourist restaurants for the rest of my stay. We are staying in South Beach and Naked Taco came up when I was searching for local places that served nachos. Jose was our server and did a great job going over the menu and talking about the various options to include recommendations. We came for nachos so that's what we settled on. My husband I enjoyed them and the serving size was perfect for an appetizer or a small meal. We were still a bit hungry so we each got a soft taco (carne asada). I stopped by Naked Taco and really enjoyed my meal. I ordered the chicken tacos, and the chicken was perfectly moist with a nice kick of spice. The pico de gallo was refreshing and balanced the heat really well. I paired my tacos with a Tequila Sunrise, which was delicious--smooth, refreshing, and perfectly made. This was our third time coming here. We usually like to come for dinner when we vacation in the area. The food was very good but the tacos seem much smaller than our first visit. This recent visit they seemed much smaller, I ate 4 tacos. The mahi mahi and salmon tacos were my favorite! I liked the cauliflower as well. The churros were also very good. The food initially came out very fast. My husband then ordered 2 more tacos and after 30 minutes we asked for them to go but the order wasn't even in progress so we canceled it. Right off ocean drive we decided to give it a shot. The resturant was pretty empty - just a couple tables had customers plus a bachelorette party. We decided to sit at the bar to make service quick and easy. The atmosphere was...okay. Honestly our bartender was great but the resturant could use some updating. I would describe it as "dusty". Not quite enough to scare us away but probably wouldn't go there for an actual meal. We ordered the churros and the choco taco. It took a bit longer than we expected to get them tbh. The churros were good and the sauces were also great for dipping. The "taco" was good but the shell was a little soft and chewy. Really wish it had that nice taco crunch. This place has amazing customer service from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out. Complimentary shots were given to us when we sat down. Mid way through dinner we got more free shots for it being shot o clock which I thought was unique. I ordered the steak quesadillas and they were fantastic. Ambiance is nice and clean. Came here for breakfast while staying at Dream South Beach Hotel. It can be a good choice in the area depending what you're looking for. We sat outside to enjoy the beautiful weather, but it can be quite noisy between the street noise/construction and loud music the restaurant plays probably in an effort to drown the street noises. We didn't mind, but others may. Inside is a little darker and more like a pub ambiance (but with A/C!). Our service was a little slower, but cordial. We came right at opening at 7:30 a.m. Big water bottle set at table. Coffee we don't recommend, unfortunately. The café con leche made me cry - tasted more like americano with very thin milk. No thicker, sweetened milk - not traditionally made. My husband's black coffee wasn't great either. Not good - go elsewhere, so many spots for great coffee in Miami. Food is what this spot is really for. Unassuming, but delicious. Flavorful! I got the breakfast burrito with no rice and no beans - still came heaping with ground carne asada that was bomb and big fluffy scrambled eggs. Very good. My husband was very happy with his regular eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, and toast platter. We particularly raved about the thick premium bacon - sooo good. In short, 3.5 stars. Just come to eat the good breakfast food and walk elsewhere for good coffee and a more lingering, enjoyable, slow start to your morning. read more

In need of a good salad and decided to go with (what I assumed would be a fairly traditional) taco salad. The taco salad does not come with a meat protein, but can be added for an up-charge. I opted for chicken breast which was nice and juicy and cooked perfectly. The vinaigrette was absolutely delicious...like I wish I could have it at home!
