Amazing atmosphere people and food ! I love this place truly authentic Cuba experience!

It's Miami Beach! There are so many restaurants down here and I've been trying to try out as many Cubanos as possible. The place is small and cute and we came here later in the evening. The staff was very friendly, but boy was it windy! I know it's near the ocean, but we sat outside and it just was not pleasant to be in that wind. Aside from that, the food was delicious! I love a good crusty Cubano and they did it right. It did feel like we were in Italy because water is not free. No big deal but I should've ordered a drink! The menu is vast, the music was great, the ambience was amazing, and the experience was fun. read more

Worst experience in terms of both food and service. As I sat down and looked at the menu, I immediately suspected that this was going to be another tourist trap restaurant that just beg you to leave them a good review on Google. You could tell by looking at their unreasonably pricey drink menu. Who charges $7 for diet coke that they pour out of a can in front of you? Especially with CVS literally next door For food, I ordered a cuban sandwich and it took them 45 minutes and several attempts on my end to get the staff to even look my way for me to ask about the reason behind the delay. And I can tell you one thing, all them who praise the food here on Google reviews are either liars or they have never had decent food in their lives. Not the best spot for Cuban food. I did not enjoy the food. We ordered the marg pitcher which was strong. The drinks were the only things I enjoyed and I think they were a bit pricey here. I'd say, there's tons of places with happy hour deal, great food, and ambiance. The service was only okay. They forgot about us for a while, but that's okay. We sat on the patio so it was nice just getting to people watch and enjoy the shade for a bit. Food arrived cold. Drinks were so expensive it felt like you were ordering alcoholic drinks. They don't do refills and we were charged 40 dollars for drinks and they charge 7 dollars for soft drinks and all they give you is a cup of ice and a can soda. Again no refills. And don't get me started ab the 20 mandatory gratuity that add on the bill. You literally have to hunt down the waiter to come and serve you. We spend 160 on something that should have been around 100 if the drinks were refillable and the gratuity wasn't mandatory. Do not recommend this place it's a true ripoff and for the amount of beverage they give you is so minuscule it's not even worth 10 dollars ( mango juice ) by the way.they give you like 6 oz of juice with all the ice they out in the cup. read more

Of course they don't have tap water, they do need to monetize water. They only have "still or sparkling". When I inquired, they said there were problems with a plumbing line. Oh well. Located on the "tourist trap" district on Collins, I stopped by to grab a bite between DJ sets during music week. I sat in the outside terrace, which was not too packed. Skipping the water, I ordered their regular/classic mojito which tasted OK; at least it had a good amount of alcohol. The chicken breast, while well seasoned, was a little on the small side ($26) and came with black beans and white rice. Four extra maduros (fried plantains) were $10. Of course, they have a 20 percent automatic gratuity. To their credit they did provide a 10% discount as a local when I expressed my discontent. However, after three hours dancing , $65 later I am still hungry. read more

Left happy hour very unhappy. Ask if there are extra charges on top of what you're ordering on the happy hour or Tuesday special menu. Two tacos, 1 fish,1 shrimp, one $5 mango margaritas. We later were told the mango flavor was extra. They were made with house tequila so we had to order additional premium tequila shots to compensate. They did give us two watermelon marg samples which were appreciated, but overall I don't have to go back. read more

Nicely decorated spot with a nice upbeat vibe. Service was pretty good and finally understood what a good cuban sandwich tastes like. Overall a bit pricey but seems to be normal for this area. Wish we tried the mojito with the sugar cane stick that's the only regret. read more

We had lunch at Little Havana today and unfortunately it didn't live up to expectations. The place itself is charming and has a great atmosphere, but the food and service struggled. There was only one waitress handling the entire dining room, and while she was clearly working hard, it made for a slow experience. My wife's nachos took a long time to arrive, and when they did, they weren't very appealing--she only ate a few bites. I ordered the Cuban sandwich. The pork was edible but quite dry, and the bread didn't help--it had a dry, almost stale texture that made the whole sandwich feel off. The kids had chicken tenders, which seemed to be made from minced chicken and were fried well but ended up dry. Normally I'd finish what they don't eat, but this time I passed. Overall, a nice-looking spot that just didn't execute where it counts. read more

What could have been a simple dining experience turned into a very disappointing one. The service was not good, and the burgers we ordered looked nothing like the picture or what was advertised. When we brought our concerns to the manager, instead of addressing the issue or taking accountability, she told us that we made the server upset and that she was crying. That response was surprising, because all we did was calmly complain about the quality of our food. Additionally, the server did not seem familiar with the menu. For example, she told me that pickles did not come on my burger, yet they were clearly listed as part of the ingredients--and I still did not receive them. Overall, there was a lack of accountability for the poor service and for the expectations not being met. Customers should be able to voice concerns about their food without being made to feel responsible for staff emotions. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve both service quality and communication with guests. I wouldn't give a star at all. read more

Our server (Claudia) was definitely enthusiastic, but the experience was rough from start to finish. We were given the wrong drinks, part of our food came out burnt, and one dish wasn't even put into the system. After waiting 20 minutes, my friend ended up eating off everyone else's plates because we had to cancel her order entirely. What made it even more frustrating was the automatic 20% gratuity -- it really feels like there's no incentive for better service when the tip is guaranteed no matter what. And on top of that, when the server asked if we wanted still or sparkling water, there was zero mention that sparkling came with an extra charge. Coming from L.A., that's usually included or at least clearly stated. So seeing a $20 charge for water on the bill with no warning was honestly ridiculous. We decided to take a walk and find some dinner came across this place. Everything was delicious. We had the sliders that came with three different flavors and three different proteins one was pork. I'm so disappointed to write this. I came here with my Cuban family, on a Wednesday, and the service was beyond terrible. Both so slow, yet 90% of our food was burnt. We were 1 of 3 whole tables, out of about 20 empty ones. Our server was miserable. Zero personality and not at all sympathetic for completely forgetting to put in a whole order and bringing us the wrong drinks, after having to continuously flag her down. Not to mention tried to charge us extra for the coke in my Cuba Libre (rum & coke) because the coke in their soda gun was flat.... Not my problem.... I will say their Cuban sandwich was delicious. Unfortunately won't be back to have again. They did take 10% off our bill, for compensation. After we had to send it back so they could take off extra charges. read more

We saw this location when walking around. We made a reservation for lunch, but we ended up not needed one. We were informed it's open seating, with options for inside or outside. At the time we went, there was one server and he was extremely friendly. He started off with taking our drink order and even recommending food options. There was music playing and lots of space on the patio to sit outside with your meal. Everything was cooked well. I could have used my rice a little more cooked but all in all everything had good flavor. There is a 20% service charge added to every bill at the end. read more

Visiting Little Havana was an experience full of presentational delight. The food was pleasantly garnished with natural herbs that essentially elaborated your taste buds. Great mixture of scents that excited your eagerness to digging to the meal in front of you. The cocktails were greatly presented, and it complemented the ambience. The music, drinks, and decor were all perfectly bringing in a Havana theme evening. Our waiter, Ernesto was friendly, knowledgeable and gave AMAZING service! Overall, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of fantastic. Stopped by this place on a whim, and wow--what a pleasant surprise!! I ordered the Cuban Sandwich with a side of truffle fries, and both were absolute winners. The sandwich was perfectly cooked, packed with flavor in every bite, and the truffle fries were the cherry on top--crispy, generously seasoned, and seriously addictive. I paired it all with a Cuba Libre cocktail. It was a little stronger than my usual preference, but still delicious and refreshing. The service was just as good as the food--my server was friendly, attentive, and polite. Yes, the bill was a touch on the high side, but honestly, worth every penny. Place felt like a scam. Nothing was seasoned. Waters were being rung up for $10 a piece without any prior warning. The "nachos" had literal movie theater cheese on them and a scoop of flavorless guac on them and cost $28. Will never return. Server (Claudia) was not attentive - said she warned us about water price but definitely didn't. Went there with my family because we wanted burgers they have nice pictures of their food so we went. After we ordered it took forever for our food to come out. Once it did the bread was hard the burger was not seasoned and it had no condiments on it And missing items. The server brought out individual packets of ketchup and mayo. We decided we didn't want it them anymore and decided to leave and just pay for our drinks. When we were leaving the manager came out and was extremely rude bc we told her server we didn't like the food and was very disappointed and then decided to lecture us about customer service. As if they are not in the service business and should cater to their customers. Side note speaking to us in English and then switching to Spanish when we are leaving to continue to speak badly about your customers is even more poor form. Trust me just skip this place read more

Thee best paella in Miami Beach! We insisted on speaking with the chef to personally thank him for making such a lovely dish (and to settle the score: hubby said the rice was cooked in seafood stock and my guess was shrimp stock). We also enjoyed the passion fruit and mango margaritas. Plantains cooked to perfection...nice and sweet. Black beans and rice were good as well. It cost $38 plus the MANDATORY 20% tip for any table size plus tax so about $50 Octopus appetizer was also extremely small as well and nothing special. Only decent thing was the kids steak but that's it, fries were overcooked that came with it. No matter party size they charge 20% tip too which I've never seen at even nice restaurants, let alone a small spot on the side of the street. read more

Maybe we came on a bad day? There was one waitress for the entire place.. making our afternoon 'grab a drink and an app' take an hour and a half. We got beers, the shrimp ceviche, and sliders to share. The photos posted from others do look pretty good, but the shrimp ceviche was 5 shrimp swimming in a white broth.
