got my lips done yesterday with Sabrina and omg! hard to just the final result as I just got them done but my experience was 10/10. she was super intentional with placement, expectations, and results. I've gotten my lips done prior somewhere else and I recall it being very painful during the procedure and I bruised quite a bit and was in a good amount of pain for days. This time with Sabrina literally the injections were almost painless, I have NO BRUISING the filler feels nice and smooth, and hardly any pain today. Not to mention price isnt terrible. This is an update on my last review of my experience at the Chino Hills location. I was very unhappy with how things went there and the NakedMD "concierge" sent me to the West Covina location to see someone named Mary, who's apparently one of their best injectors. I was looking forward to having her fix the work the first injector did (dropped the brow line way down, created asymmetry, and didn't address the main area of my forehead where the deepest lines are). I'm not sure if it's because the WC hadn't been informed of my situation, but I never got to see Mary at all. The "aesthetic consultant" said I didn't get the results I wanted because I only got 10 units of Tox, which, according to the itemized receipt the concierge sent me, isn't true - I got 30 units according to them (see my CH review for a more detailed explanation of how I was charged for a bunch of things I didn't ask for or consent to). So I honestly can't even tell you how many units I actually got. In any event, the "aesthetic consultant" said she wasn't going to give me any additional units because it would be too close to my next round of Tox in three months (I just got the Tox two weeks ago and I never said I would be coming back in three months) and that another reason I didn't achieve the results I wanted was because I purchased a cheaper product. This is all nonsense. I've been getting injectables for well over a decade, and in the few instances where I was unhappy with my results, the med spa fixed it without giving me any problems or pushback. The "concierge" made it sound like they wanted to help me and make things right, but all that happened is I took a morning off work and drove twenty miles for absolutely nothing. All I wanted was a few more units to be placed where I originally asked for it to be placed, and for them to correct the brow line and asymmetry. I'll be honest: the first week after getting lip filler was tough for me. I hated how my lips looked and was terrified the swelling wouldn't go down, leaving me stuck with ugly hot dog lips! Thankfully, by day 8, everything changed--I LOVED how my lips looked. So much so, I wished they'd stay that way permanently. For reference, I got half a syringe of Restylane Kysse in my top lip and none in my bottom lip. The injection pain was a 2/10, but the lip massage two weeks later? Definitely a 10/10.
