I'll be honest: the first week after getting lip filler was tough for me. I hated how my lips looked and was terrified the swelling wouldn't go down, leaving me stuck with ugly hot dog lips! For reference, I got half a syringe of Restylane Kysse in my top lip and none in my bottom lip. The injection pain was a 2/10, but the lip massage two weeks later? Definitely a 10/10. I usually feel a lot of discomfort when getting blood drawn at a doctor's office because the needle is so big, but at NakedMD they use a "butterfly needle" and it was virtually painless. They made sure I was comfortable by numbing me beforehand, and giving me a distraction device when injecting my blood back into my skin.
