    Apple pop tart

Nako in cobble hill is a cozy coffee shop with rotating specialty lattes and excellent seasonal pastry offerings. We dropped in last Fall for a morning coffee date and had their specialty chestnut latte which was subtly nutty and spicy. We also tried their spiced apple pop tart and chai cruffin. The pop tart was nicely crispy and served warm with apple pie filling. The cruffin had a gorgeous flaky texture and a lovely chai custard filling. Both the coffee and pastries delivered here and we intend to make this a regular haunt of ours

Nako matcha latte with pistachio milk

Nako is such a charming spot for matcha lovers. Their Nako Matcha Latte is definitely my favorite , smooth, beautifully balanced, and always presented in such a pretty way. I've tried a few different milk options, and while pistachio milk is fine, I think oat milk works better overall. It makes the drink creamier without overpowering the matcha. If you're in Brooklyn and craving a high-quality matcha latte in an aesthetic, relaxing space, Nako is absolutely worth a visit.

This place is so good! We got their specialty chai latte (that comes with a blend of non dairy milks that gives it such a unique and delicious taste) and a chestnut latte that my partner said is his favorite latte right now and he's been craving it ever since. This spot is close to bk bridge park so you can get your drinks to go & walk around the park or get your drinks in cups to stay & enjoy your time in their cute cafe. They have a long sharable table in the back, minimal "bar" seating, and some window spots in the front. Perfect to read a book or get some work done. I love that they have a bathroom for use & water station. Overall, cute aesthetic and great drinks

One of the happiest little life moments--stumbling upon a cozy neighborhood café completely by chance.   Tucked away on a quiet street in the historic Brooklyn Heights and right next to the famous Cloudy Donuts, I was instantly drawn to Nako by its clean, minimalist aesthetic. It turns out they just opened their doors four months ago.   In a city overflowing with aesthetic cafes, Nako has already won me over. They serve artisan coffee and pour-overs using quality beans. The gorgeous handmade ceramic mugs to the beautifully poured latte art genuinely made me smile.   *Nako Latte $7 I got their signature Nako Latte, a latte infused with cardamom syrup and made with a special house milk blend (mix of whole and cashew milk). It was lightly sweet and subtly spiced--I'll definitely get this again.   *Mint Lemon Iced Tea $5 Very minty--perfect if you're a fan! My boyfriend really loved this one. Refreshing and bold, especially on a warm day.

Super cute cafe with tables inside and out to work from. They have wifi and the login information is at the counter. Staff are friendly! I got an iced Nako Matcha Latte with Sea Salt Earl Gray (2.5/5). The matcha taste was alright but I didn't get any Earl Gray taste and the cup was SO SMALL.

Great vibes and coffee! Really enjoyed the atmosphere here - great spot to catch up with a friend or have coffee. Their cookie was also very good! Would definitely check it out if you're in Brooklyn Heights!

Beautiful cafe, every little detail was so thoughtful. A true visual pleasure! I got a mint iced tea, my boyfriend got a flat white. We both were impressed with our beverages. I also really liked the cute cup they serve it in.

Cute, cozy cafe and honestly, the only thing I've tried is their spiced chai!!! It's chef's kiss whether hot or cold. I have glanced at their pastries, but nothing really catches my eye.

Columbia Place has a lot more businesses in play since I last visited. I had seen Nako randomly on social media so I made the time to visit. I think the place is really cute. There are chairs outside (definitely great for the spring- early fall time), a bench attached to the counter and a table in the back for seating. I'm uncertain if WiFi is available though people were comfortable using laptops in the back. They have the standard cafe options plus a couple of pastries. They also have specialty drinks including their Nako matcha latte which has earl grey syrup and sea salt flakes. I got that iced with oat milk. Overall it is a really serene spot. It is relatively close to the water (a few blocks from Brooklyn Bridge Park). The people working was good at answering questions. It was relatively busy for a Sunday afternoon (though it was bright outside so people in the neighborhood would be taking advantage). They sell coffee by the bag and also cups they use in store if that's the studies you like. Overall, a cute find for the neighborhood.

Pricey but a spa like coffee, iced tea and focaccia experience - low-fi music and sometimes it lets itself go into a higher energy. Restrooms available and not grungy -

A very welcome addition to the neighborhood with excellent coffee!! The vibes are great and it's a wonderful place to work or to meet a friend for a coffee. I will say that there may be a few kinks they need to iron out still, as it's happened twice already that I waited over 10 minutes for a drink simply because they forgot about me or because there was lack of communication between the cashier and the barista. One time they comped our drink for this mistake. Soooo maybe not the best place if you're in a hurry for your coffee to go. I absolutely love all the drinkware they serve their drinks in! And the baked goodies are a great addition as well.

Great flavors. Wished the matcha taste was a bit stronger but overall good drink. The cup size is a bit small, I drank it in a few seconds. Maybe it was just hot that day.

There's a couple of tables in a small store. Above the register there's a menu board resembling a train departures board, cycling through the options (it looks neat, but the printed out menu on your right is a lot more practical). There's a cooler with drinks and salads as you enter on the right. The sandwiches, however, are something special. On my first visit I went with something familiar, the Mean Streets (their Italian sandwich). The bread itself is fantastic (locally baked), and the toppings delicious as well (if I recall correctly the dressings are house made). Pleasantly, they also give you a paper plate with your order, which is a nice touch compared to eating off a wrapper. I enjoyed the first sandwich so much I came back the next day to try the No Sleep Til Gravesend. The sandwich is essentially a hot roast beef sandwich, with a jus on the sandwich reminiscent of a French Dip. Perfect on a cold, rainy day. Overall, 1 of 1 has great (and mostly house made) ingredients and great execution. There's a level of creativity on the menu that you rarely see elsewhere in the city. 1 of 1 is among the best sandwich shops in the city, and a very welcome addition to the area.

When the hype got large enough, the owner decided to start a pizzeria and the rest is not history. This is one of the more worthwhile TGTG orders to me. Expensive though, about $55 dollars for a vegan 18-inch Margherita pie with 3 toppings. Was it worth it for the experience? Yes. Would I recommend to someone who wanted to try it at least once for a good dairy-free pizza? Absolutely, I couldn't even tell this was vegan cheese. Would I get it again? Maybe (?) once in a while as a treat with price being the only barrier. Service 5/5: This was great. I came here the other day to inquire about their vegan pizza and just wanted to try a slice. The person found his manager to talk to me about this. They were super friendly and explained to me the situation. This location only sold vegan options in full pies and their other DOP Fast Life location does sell vegan slices, but they didn't try to push me to buy. I came back today and the staff today were also very welcoming. Ambiance 5/5: Rustic red brick interior with warm lighting. It was definitely bustling on a Friday night. Food 5/5: Delicious pizza. I do regret that I ate it cold after driving 30 minutes to pick it up so I did not get the full experience. But the crust was still crunchy. I do wish the toppings were a little heavier but the tomato chunks in the sauce tasted very fresh. A very classic New York style pizza and I couldn't even tell it wasn't real cheese. Vegan garlic knots were great too.
