    Goat Kalimirch

3.5. Namaste is located in a shopping plaza right off of busy Street road in Warminster. The atmosphere was laid back and the service was good. We enjoyed the complimentary crisp cracker with dips served before our meal. Lamb and goat dishes were pretty good. A few pieces of the goat could have been more tender. The lamb curry was very good, not sure I'd get the goat Kalimirch again. The flavor was not as deep and comforting as the curry. The basmati rice was fragrant with spices and cooked well and the garlic naan was so good we got a second order. Would like to try some more of their menu offerings soon.

Found this spot while going to a bakery next door and decided to give it a try. The food was so delicious, it was very flavorful. I did get some appetizers and they were OK. I loved the chicken biriyani, it's one of my favorites.

Best Indian food I've ever tasted (as an American with American tastes). Service is wonderful and the energy of the staff is lovely. Everything was delicious!

Ordered a chicken vindaloo curry and it was just a lot of spice but no actual taste. Nothing close to an actual Indian curry.

For the 7 that decided to go family-style, we shared: - Nepali Himalayan noodles with egg and vegetables (so good that we got a second round!); - Nepali Himalayan chicken fried rice (another table favorite!); and - 5 momo orders (goat, chicken x3, and shrimp) all of which were tasty, though personally I liked the savory ones more than the sweeter (e.g., the chicken tika momo) and the chicken and shrimp more than the goat, which had great flavor but was tougher than the others). We had one diner in our group who didn't love spicy food, so we stayed at a level 2 for most dishes. We did get the goat at a level-4 and it wasn't that spicy. Would definitely level up next time, depending who came along! A few diners got Mango Lassis, which were thick and delicious. Service was good and it seemed like the restaurant was also churning out take-out orders. Can't wait to go back!

The food comes out fast which was perfect for my hungry group! The three of us got four orders of momos to share. First was the chicken tikka momos, topped with what's basically tikka masala sauce, sweet and creamy. The veggie choyal momos were filled with a nice mix of veggies and potato that stood up to the meat options, and were also topped with a sauce that was more on the spicy and sour side. The chicken tandoori momos were fried and slightly crispy with a really delicious chili oil. Finally, the goat jhol momos were probably my favorite momo filling (I love lamb and it was so flavorful), and they paired great with the spicy tomato-y broth, though it still came behind the absolute best jhol momos I've had in Queens NY. Last thing we ordered was a lychee lassi, which was lighter than other thick yogurt-y lassis I've had and more akin to the East Asian drink Yakult, but it was so sweet and refreshing! There is real lychee pulp and I bet they make this in-house. Overall really happy to have found this place and to know that Philly can be introduced to the world of momos. Would absolutely come back, and I think my goal would be to get the goat momos again and try all the different preparations!

Human beings are funny that way. So for Father's Day, my wife booked a table for six at Mount Masala in Voorhees. This turned out to be an act of touching optimism. When we arrived on a Saturday night, only three other tables were occupied. We could have brought a small marching band and sat immediately. Still, the staff was warm, the room was pleasant, and we decided to order family style. Civilization occasionally gets things right. The sizzling chicken momo arrived first, hissing and steaming like a diva. Sadly, the spectacle outperformed the substance; it was essentially good food wearing a sequined jacket. The chicken tikka momo, however, was outstanding. They were tender dumplings smothered in a sweet, familiar tikka sauce that my boys attacked with an enthusiasm usually reserved for free money. My youngest ordered the chicken makai soup and delivered a concise, pro-level critique: "It's fine." My oldest enjoyed his tofu Manchurian, though his eyes kept wandering to better plates. The beef skinny noodles and chicken Hakku Bakku chowmein were massive and well-made, but they lacked personality. The chowmein tasted like a very good lo mein. Nothing wrong with that, just predictable. The undisputed star was the chicken choyla. It was smoky, spicy, and rich with mustard oil. If the other dishes were polite small talk, the choyla was the eccentric guest telling stories nobody had ever heard before. Everyone at the table kept reaching for it. As for the service, the staff was incredibly friendly but possessed a unique talent for vanishing. Despite the empty room, refilling water and securing extra napkins became a minor side-quest. But then the bill arrived: $120 for six people. These days, taking the family out can feel like financing a small yacht, so this felt like a genuine bargain. Mount Masala isn't perfect, but it's memorable. The choyla and the tikka momos gave me exactly what I've been hunting for: flavors that are unfamiliar, exciting, and well worth getting to know.

Now,let me share what I ordered. PLAIN NANA,soft fresh and flavorful evenon it's own. Sometimes simple is best! CHICKEN MOMO & DIPPING SAUCE, the dumplings were just the right size, filled generously with juicy chicken. The dipping sauce was smooth and full of flavor, without being too spicy. I was so happy to hear that they opened another restaurant in Glen Cove! Plenty of street parking is available, and they even have a shared parking lot in back of the restaurant! This Glen Cove locations is lovely; beautiful murals and great vibes. I was shocked and sad to see it so empty on a Saturday evening! I hope more people give this place a chance because the food and service is great! This was our Shared Menu (plenty for 2ppl, and we had leftovers): -- Water Buffalo Momos w.Chili Sauce (8pcs/$18): the Momos were tasty; the meat was very lean. I would skip the Chili sauce next time. I didn't like the sweet and sour taste of the sauce, so next time I'd like to try the steamed Momos with Johl sauce instead. -- Choila Roti "Not a Taco" with Jackfruit (2pcs/$12): Not a Taco but similar to a taco. This was delicious and I'd get this again. We choice the Jackfruit version but they also have a chicken version. -- Masala Wings (Sauteed wet version) (4pcs/$11): I remember really liking the wings when I was at the Ridgewood location but couldn't recall which wings we had. On this visit, we had the wet version which was good but I realized that I like their dry version better. -- Grilled Lamb Chops w.Timur Sauce, Veggies & white rice (2pcs/$25): Surprisingly, this was my least fave dish of the night. I normally love lamb chops but these chops didn't really have a nice seared taste to them. The texture was a little off for me. Also, it was very boney with not much meat. I would try another entree next time. All in all, a good meal! I found the large selection of appetizers more interesting than the entrees, and would have been happy just sharing a bunch of appetizers and small plates. Customer service was welcoming and friendly! It was a pleasure to chat with the owner. Nice addition to the neighborhood!
