The saag here in Jersey just isn't the same, so I made it with the help of Miss Majhur Jaffey's recipe and well you'll see, it still isn't the same as this restaurant my favorite-Secret Indian Kitchen Doylestown. Please just come here for a most delicious meal.

    Lamb Chop, Chicken Vindaloo

The lamb chop here is pretty good--tender, well-seasoned. The chicken vindaloo was also flavorful with a nice balance of spice. We ordered from the lunch menu, which had noticeably smaller portions than the regular menu. Also heard good things about Chicken Tikka Masala, Gobi Manchurian, Garlic Naan

Hesitant on trying new places, but I'm glad I tried this one last night. Best Peshwari naan and malai kofta I've ever had.

The issue with the dosas is now fixed! light, crispy, thin, with very tasty potato and spices inside. Yummy! I prefer to the samosas, even.

The restaurant was…read morebusier than we expected it would be just based on what we see from the sidewalk when we walk by, so that was nice to see! We started with the aloo tikki which came out so fresh. They were delicious! They were fabulously crisp on the outside. The insides reminded me of samosas (yummy) and were spicy. They were even more delicious with the sauces. Highly recommend these. They didn't have the flour for the paratha, so we just had traditional naan. We had plain and garlic. Wow!! When they were placed on the table, they looked delicious, especially the garlic naan which glistened with butter and garlic. They were clearly just out of the oven, and they were amazing. Probably the best freshest most tasty naan I've had. We also had the daal makhani and the malia kofta. These are two of our favorite Indian dishes, and they did not disappoint. I especially enjoyed the malai kofta--the sauce was very nice and the vegetable balls were not mushy, kept their form, and were just fresh and tasty. The noticeable pieces of nuts added a nice texture. While the service was just slightly slow for me, it wasn't painfully slow. Everyone was very attentive and friendly. We'd definitely return. The only thing that would make it better for us would be if they served aloo matar.

It's the real deal with full flavor and authentic Desai taste to fulfill that craving of goat verified or chicken sukka. Maybe a delicious biryani or tawa fish fry. We had the gongura chicken and chicken tikka masala. If you're American and used to order chicken tikka masala please note the medium spice level may be a touch spicy and it comes with bell peppers and onions. I thought it tasted fantastic. Gongura chicken had the tamarind tang with a gongura curry gravy that felt like I'm eating in south India. Naan and roti were piping hot and thin. Great to soak up all that curry. Also tried the chili gobi that had plenty of chili sauce to put on some naan. Can't wait to go back and try some other fun dishes. Lunch time thali looked good as well.

Masala Zone - Horsham, PA Rating: 2.75 out of 5…read more After seeing all the positive reviews, my family and I came to Masala Zone with pretty high expectations -- and we arrived hungry, which usually makes any meal taste better. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. We ordered the chicken corn soup, shrimp and chicken fried rice, chicken Seekh kebabs, and the chilli garlic chicken. Across the board, the food just wasn't well balanced. Everything leaned heavily on being way too salty, way too peppery, and way too greasy, which took away from what could've been a flavorful meal. The dishes didn't have the harmony you'd expect, especially given the hype. While the service and atmosphere were fine, the food itself missed the mark. For us, it's a one-time visit, and we don't see ourselves returning. There are simply better options in the area that deliver on both taste and quality.

When we came home portions considerably smaller, and prices higher than website. What i got as an entree is the same as what was the app size. Naan bread seriously undercooked. Food tasted good, but this for $40? Pass. I'll stick with Nirvana or Namaste

We usually come here once a quarter and for good reason. The food here is flavorful and it's pretty reasonably priced. They specialize in a variety of South Indian cuisine, but my favorite has always been the Kurinji special mutton perattal biryani. It's a pretty big dish with rice and plenty of meat. It also has several sides of sauces and spices to mix in. It's a definite must-have if you like lamb. The other favorite of mine is the Vijayawada chicken biryani. It's a huge serving of chicken, rice, onions, and other great ingredients that are sure to get your taste buds satisfied. My coworkers often order the chicken tikka masala or the butter chicken, both of which are better than most Indian places I've been to. An unexpected surprise were the vegetarian samosas, which are large Indian dumplings that are mostly appetizers, but are quite addicting once you've tried it. Kurinji is good for any occasion, but be advised that they are closed on Mondays. Among all the places my coworkers like to visit for lunch, this restaurant remains as our favorite spot. One of these days I'll go down the entire menu to explore everything else they have, as there are just so many options to choose from. We'll definitely be coming here whenever we get a chance and highly encourage any newcomers to check this place out. You definitely won't be disappointed. If you have a large party, it's advised that you call ahead, as I don't think they've been able to seat more than 8 people at a time on a single row of tables.Re
