We visited as a group of six and sampled a wide variety of dishes--and every single one was a hit. From the Manchow soup and Dahi Puri to the KGF sandwich, Pav Bhaji, sizzler, Hara Bhara Kebab, Chilli Naan, and Paneer Butter Masala, each dish was exceptional. We wrapped up the meal with the Kesar Pista Falooda, which was the perfect ending. We left with full stomachs and even fuller hearts. The owners were incredibly warm and welcoming, taking the time to recommend dishes that perfectly matched our taste preferences. Ambiance is very vibrant as well. Truly a must-visit restaurant!

This restais in a plaza filled with Indian restaurants and stores, gives you a feeling of oak tree rd or Jackson heights in a strip mall. After we got here, we realized that this was a vegetarian restaurant and instead of walking to the restaurant next door, we stuck to our original choice and we're not disappointed. The restaurant is a self order restaurant thats was fairly new. The restaurant was full but not crowded. The service was good and they can make food based on your level of spice tolerance. There was a dish that I hadn't tried before, bd the person at the counter gave me a very well detailed explanation that made my decisioning a Lil easier. The food was great. I enjoyed the chat, nothing extraordinary, unless you are eating it for the 2nd or 3rd time. Overall a good experience, don't forget to try Thums up!! You will never go back to Pepsi or coke again.

If you read nothing else - ORDER THE GARLIC CHICKEN…read more Ok, now for everything else....we decided to try out this place, which felt incredibly taboo bc we LOVE our Indian Palace restaurant. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the friendliest person behind the counter. She led us to our table where we enjoyed reading through their expansive menu. We decided on some samosa's, lamb korma, chicken Tikka and the star of the show - GARLIC CHICKEN. I'm going to start with the Garlic Chicken because I have never had something like this before anywhere else and it is listed as an appetizer. If you love garlic as much as I do, please do yourself a favor and RUN here to get this. My husband, son and I FOUGHT over this plate because it was so delicious. We had to order a whole extra basket of naan to dip it in because it was SPECTACULAR. The rest of the plates were very tasty as too! The Korma was delicious and soft. And I haven't met a naan I didn't like. Really aside from the garlic chicken what made this experience great was the service. It was a young woman who noticed I was speaking Spanish to my son and also began speaking Spanish to us. She was incredibly thoughtful and kept checking in on us as well. Overall, we look forward to returning. On the weekend they run a buffet which I am super into to try more of their dishes.

The inside was clean and appealing, service was friendly and prompt. I ordered simple items for sake of time and familiarity. The veggie samosas I ordered were ok and tasted like the frozen type. They were not greasy and had minimal spice/flavor. I would pass on them next time. For my main lunch I had the .... 3. Chicken Tikka Masala lunch special - lentils, rice, plain naan and salad. It was a good lunch deal for around $12. The lentils were fresh, rice was aromatic and fresh, salad was simple and the chicken tikka was good. The chicken was fresh, masala lacked the spice I was hoping for, but was a decent portion size. I could have used more naan than the one piece that came with the meal. I boxed about half of it all for take home. During checkout, the staff was so nice and thankful for the visit. They gave me a parting gift of Kheer for dessert. Unfortunately it had an off flavor so I dumped it, but it was the thought that counted. I'd certainly return if in the area to try some of their other entrees. The menu is sizable with around a dozen non veg apps, two dozen veg apps, 8-12 variants of lamb, chicken and goat dishes, over 2 dozen vegetarian meals and almost a dozen different biryanis. Thanks guys!

My parents consider the dosas here the area's best, and I too was impressed by the well-fermented, perfectly crisp, and generously portioned crepes that arrive with tasty sambar and fresh chutneys. Rajni boasts unique dosa varieties such as a cilantro-forward Madurai dosa and a curry-leaf inflected chicken masala dosa. The items outside the dosa similarly impressed me and my wife during a recent meal. The chicken 555 comprised morsels of fried chicken tossed in an appetizingly creamy and spicy sauce, which made for an addictive bite. We enjoyed the variety of curries (including fish, goat, and chicken) and the flaky paratha that came in the non-vegetarian thali, which was very fairly priced at $20. Service here deserves a mention, as the staff are very accommodating and hard working. The restaurant ambiance is simple but tidy. Overall, Rajni fills a needed niche in the area and is well worth a visit for any Indian food fan to sample some less common South Indian dishes at reasonable prices.

Everything else on the menu is incredible too especially in their veg appetizer section. Gobi Manchurian and Pepper Baby Corn were awesome. Crowds can fill on the weekends but you'll never have a problem getting a table. The service can be a bit slow when the dining room is more packed but that's ok, the portions are so big you won't need a server for a long time. While the interior is nothing special, don't judge this masterpiece by its cover; let the food speak for itself!
