Found this place unintentionally. Went into a convenience store and the food smelled so good we had to order. There are 2 tables if you'd like to eat there but we ordered to go. The menu is quite extensive and we had to go with what we knew would be a good meal. We ended up with pretty basics the chicken curry and the beef korma and the garlic naan. Ordered lamb Tikka and shrimp curry with 2 orders of spring rolls. All 4 came to 45 before fees and tip which I thought was so affordable I was skeptical. WOW. Huge portions especially the meat. Wow! Do not pass this place up!! We had heard about this hidden gem for a few years--the insanely good Indian restaurant hidden in a Chevron station. First, open the doors to the Chevron shop and you are immediately met with the most mouthwatering aromas and spices. The food is amaaaaazing. Ask for suggestions, their menu is extensive and they have really special items that you won't find elsewhere. I personally love the Saag Paneer, Chana Masala, Eggplant Bharta, and Fish Vindaloo, my husband and son also love the Butter Chicken and the Vindaloo, the Pakoras and Naan are a must have...the portion sizes are generous. Order a number of dishes and find your favorite. This family is absolutely lovely and takes great pride and joy in their food. My family and friends absolutely swear by it. This place makes me laugh - in a good way. Yes, it really is in a mini mart at a gas station. I drove up, thinking it must be a mistake, but there was their sign plastered on the side of the mini mart. I've included some photos of their sign on the front door - handwritten with words crossed out - made me chuckle. When I walked in, towards the back, there was a small display case with 5 Indian men standing behind it and a delicious aroma of Indian food. I knew I had found the place. I figured the service would be quick with that many people working and it was. I ordered and I had my food in 15 minutes. I went out to sit in my car and they came and got me when my food was ready. Now, on to the food: delicious. The garlic naan is absolutely to die for! It's different than any other garlic naan I have had - it has a yellow color to it - turmeric? But it didn't taste like turmeric. Anyway, just get the garlic naan! The paneer butter masala and dal makhani were great. I also got the shrimp shahi korma and I wouldn't get that again. It wasn't terrible, just not outstanding like the other dishes. The seating is not ideal; it's surrounded by refrigerated display cases. But at least they have seating if you need it. This little secret gem is located in a dingy little gas station convenience store, filled to the hip with vape products, energy drinks, and beer. There's a few tables if you want to eat there, but you'll be surrounded by cooled beverages. Not the most inspiring. But don't be dismayed. Instead, regard it as a take out place. They'll even bring the food to your car if you order in person inside. The food is really great, it really is. They'll make it to your specifications, spice-level and allergies etc. It's really tasty. The portions are generous. If I am starving, I can barely finish one portion. Usually, I get two meals out of one. The breads are good, too, and so is the rice. You'll be satisfied. Also, the prices are quite all right. I'm delighted by this addition. Namaste is my family's favorite place to get Indian food! We've already been multiple times and dined in and gotten take out, the food is amazing fresh but just as good taking the long drive back home. While there's only two tables and you eat off paper plates it's easily the best Indian food we've found in Washington, it has both quality and quantity for a good price. The staff are also very helpful and kind.
