    Bay scallop and crab linguine
    Maxine L.

Super cute spot on the main street in Poulsbo. My friends and I had to wait ~25-30 minutes for a table outdoors (we were dining with a dog), which wasn't bad. I ordered the bay scallop and crab linguine and the potato leek soup. The soup and table bread came out first. The bread is amazing. Soft, flavorful, pillowy. We ate a lot of bread haha. The soup was super yummy too. Creamy and perfect dipping for the bread lol The pasta was also delicious! The sauce was slightly sweet, slightly salty, and overall a banger. The crab was fine, but the bay scallops were not. They were chewy and kinda rubbery? :c The service here was amazing. Everyone is so kind and accommodating. There is just so much joy there. However, we waited more than 30 minutes for our food. Overall, good restaurant. Some things were lackluster (chewy scallops and super long wait time for food). That table bread and pasta sauce might bring me back though.

    The lamb. Excellent.

Back again. The Linguini ai frutti di mare and the Lamb were amazing as usual. Got to sit by the fire this time, which was great on a day like today. Can't beat the service or the vibe here.

Deciding between wines both were amazing and both from Eagle Harbor. Focaccia bread Garlic heaven bomb!!

We sat at the wine bar, up close and personal with staff. It was the best experience ever! We were able to figure out which wine to choose from without a rush. They all were very helpful and friendly. BIG shout out to Britney, Nicole, and Liz. We had the best time chatting with them and the recommendation for pasta- the penne allá genovese was on point. The atmosphere of the restaurant was dim and romantic but where we were it was a lot of fun. We will 100% come back again. We had a wonderful experience. Also hostess was amazing I didn't get her name.

    Cocktail platters

We just celebrated my husband's 50th birthday with a group of 30 of us. Niccole helped me plan our menu including cocktail platters, buffet, wine, and dessert. The upstairs room was beautiful, food and wine was delicious. Niccole was so incredibly helpful. Our service was amazing. The memories created and shared over delicious food in a beautiful venue will be special to our family and close friends forever. Thank you!

So very impressed. Read the menu on Saturday and couldn't get the delicious items out of my mind. Last night of vacation and we got in around 7:15pm and ordered the Con carne pizza and shared a bottle of Wine ! Had a lovely conversation with other patrons at the wine bar and our Bartender was excellent as well. Pizza was amazing and I will be back for more!

Sogno di vino is located on the main strip in historic downtown Poulsbo. The restaurant is dimly lit with quiet music playing. The staff were very friendly. It was not busy when we came in on a Friday around 12 pm. There is an upstairs and downstairs area, along with seating outside with fireplaces. We ordered some wine to start, a small Mediterranean salad to share, the Caleb pizza, and the linguini orto. I am gluten free so everything we ordered was made gluten free! The salad was yummy with a tangy dressing. The pizza was very yummy, I would say it came out warm not piping hot. I know our waitress said earlier that their pizza oven was taking longer to heat up so that may be why! The pasta was quite lemony, I enjoyed it. It was nice to find a restaurant that could accommodate my gluten allergy, we will definitely be back next time we are in the area!

    Delicious focaccia bread

We took a spontaneous day trip to charming Poulsbo (Little Norway!) with our pups Maisie and Trudy a couple weeks ago. This dog-friendly town was the perfect setting to discover Sogno Di Vino - a casual yet upscale restaurant with excellent table service and a lovely patio for people-watching. Service & Atmosphere: Arrived around 2pm to a short patio wait, but they have a great system - they take your phone number and call when your table is ready, so no awkward hovering by the host stand! We were quoted 15 minutes, popped across the street to browse shops, and got called almost immediately when a table opened up. The patio features fire tables at most spots, which would be perfect for colder weather dining. Food & Drinks: Started with complimentary focaccia bread that was delicious. For drinks, I had an Aperol Spritz and my husband ordered what I believe was a huckleberry old fashioned - absolutely phenomenal! Their cocktail program seems really solid, so definitely worth exploring if you're into craft drinks. We noticed every single table had the meatballs, so naturally we had to try them. Best decision ever! Served over lemon ricotta with crispy pancetta panko - absolutely delightful, especially paired with the focaccia. For our main, we shared the "Caleb" pizza: prosciutto, mushrooms, apple, fig, brie, mozzarella, and honey drizzle. Having had similar topping combinations before (usually with olive oil or light white sauce), I was surprised it came with tomato sauce. Unfortunately, the sauce overpowered the delicate flavors of the other ingredients. I'd recommend trying one of their other pizzas instead - I imagine their tomato-based pizzas are excellent. Overall: Fantastic atmosphere, excellent service (especially for dog owners!), outstanding cocktails and appetizers. Just a heads up on the "Caleb" pizza - I'd personally try one of their other options next time, though I'm sure their traditional pizzas are great. Dog-friendly bonus: Not only does this pet-welcoming town make it easy to dine with furry friends, but the staff brought water bowls for Maisie and Trudy without us even asking! This level of thoughtful service for our pups makes this a definite 5-star spot I'd absolutely recommend.

All hard surfaces, so I need to let you know that the place is a bit noisy. It wasn't full and we had trouble hearing each other across the table. They have a full menu for brunch and prices range from around $16 for "the usual" of eggs, bacon, and roasted potatoes to $25-30 for fancier plates. Note that toast was a side with extra charge. Brunch for 3 with coffee (and toast) was $115 including tax and tip. Not cheap, but the food was pretty good. The corned beef hash that I had came with a horseradish sauce that was a bit unusual, but good. My wife had "the usual" eggs, bacon, etc. Our son had the "beef benedict" with shredded beef, which, again, was a little unusual, but he said it was good. Service and staff were attentive and pleasant. It is a very convenient place for a nice brunch. We will be trying it for dinner sometime.

Entrance is down a short alleyway and up a set of stairs in the back. Tizley's sits on the main drag downtown and didn't appear to have a view of the water per se, but the (limited) balcony dinning sits right over all the action going on down on the street...which seemed cool, though my wife and I elected to sit indoors on this day. Inside is very nicely decorated in a Austro-Bavarian tavern/pub style. Pretty cool and this was exactly what my wife and I wanted when we decided on eating lunch here. FB marketplace brought us to town for the day and Yelp brought us to Tizley's. Service - we hit Tizley's right at high noon and they were pretty busy. Despite this, we were seated within ten minutes - a nice surprise as the hostess (and possibly owner/manager??) initially cited us a 20-minute wait. Our waiter was prompt, friendly, and very efficient throughout our entire meal. He checked in on us frequently and ensured we were enjoying our meal. Food - I had the Wiener schnitzel and my wife had the Jägerschnitzel - both of us had mash and spaetzle as our sides. Both of us enjoyed our schnitzels - in my case, I was truly happy their Wiener schnizle was in fact a veal cutlet and not pork... which I've found to be a common substitute here in the PNW. Beer menu was robust and had an emphasis on German-styled beers! We will definitely be back!

I made a reservation for our party just in case as it was a Saturday night. The restaurant is actually located upstairs and access is gained by walking along the side of the building down a small alley. Thankfully another reviewer mentioned this. Many German dishes were on the menu. My group opted we share a large pretzel as an appetizer. Totally a wonderful home made pretzel served with bier cheese and two different types of mustards. I ordered the jaegerschnitzel with German potato salad. The schnitzel had a wonder flavor and it was covered in a mushroom gravy. I was so impressed with the potato salad. It was a flavorful pair to the schnitzel. This meal felt like someone's grandma made it. Everything was made from scratch and you could taste it in every bite.

The ambiance is attractive and we were immediately greeted and seated upon our arrival. There is a private lot. I started with an exotic drink with mezcal and fresh blackberries since this is blackberry country. I forget the name but it is on the picture. It was delicious. The wife had Passion Fruit and it was also delicious. For entrees, the wife had chicken mole and did not care for it. The chicken was bone-in which is normally fine, but she did not care for this chicken. The mole was very spicy. There is a difference between flavorful with a kick or slow burn, but this was overtly spicy. She did not eat much and did not take it home. I had an exotic dish which I don't remember the name but it was essentially a chicken stew served in mortar bowl. Rice and black beans came on the side, but I added them to the stew to make it thicker. It was delicious. Very flavorful with a slow burn. If the review were based on this dish alone, it would be 5 stars. Our server was attentive and helpful. I liked the vibe and food more than the wife did, We are in Poulsbo only a couple of days so we probably won't return, but if we were here longer I would lobby for a return.
