The inside is cute with a little sitting area. Staff was decent, not the most personable though. To be honest, the food just wasn't it. Not a whole lot of flavor, especially with the arroz con leche. The cookies, churros and tres leches were pretty good though. read more

Everything is awesome! Quality is there, the place is clean, lady at the register friendly and you can tell the customers are happy! The flan tastes just like my Mom's and above all is WITHOUT cinnamon (can't stand cinnamon ). I have yet to taste the tres leches, just pigged out on flan and delicious flaky pastry lol. This place hits the SPOT! I've had some major Pan Dulce cravings since I got pregnant, so my mother's day gift from my husband was basically buying out this whole store. Apologies for the photos with bites already taken out of them... I'm not gonna lie, I don't know the names of most of what I ended up getting, but I can tell you I do know tamales, and that hit the savory spot! They sell them in minimum amount of half dozens, so naturally we got 6 of each. The chicken had a bit of a spicy bite, but the pork was so flavorful and less spicy, it really was the perfect tamale. As for the pastries, the concha made my husband cry, and he said it was better than he'd had in Mexico. The other real standout was (not pictured) the slice of tres leches cake we got. We obviously had far too many pastries to eat that on the same day, so I can vouch for letting it sit a day in the fridge and soak up even more goodness. My goodness, I'm a cake lover, and this has got to be one of the best cakes I've had. So moist and sweet! I can't wait to go back for more! read more

SO GOOD. Everything at Nana's is so delicious--the flan, jalepeño cream cheese roll, and white frosted sweet bread are my personal favorites, but nothing has disappointed thus far. Plus, everything is affordable and the staff are always so sweet and in a good mood. They speak Spanish and English, so it is also a great place to practice your Spanish if you're learning. This is a small bakery with parking in front. They have donuts, cookies, turnovers, and other pastries. There is no menu because everything is $1 and what you see is what is available that day. There are some donuts but some much larger things as well. Everything we got was spot on. read more

Hit or miss. The torta bread is sometimes moldy. So always ask for the freshly baked torta bread. The Mexican bread is hit or miss too.

Basically a serve-yourself bakery with tons of Pan Dulce, so many choices we didn't know what all to get. You load up a tray with all the goodies you want and take the tray up to the register and get checked out. We got 8 or 9 items and it only cost $7 so very reasonably priced, Especially for the quality. Everything we got was amazing. read more

Not it at all! I was super excited for tres leches for my birthday. It is my favorite cake of all time. And this cake was hardly sweet, had dry patches, (or should I say wet patches, because I felt like it was pretty dry for a tres leches.) and even the whip cream tasted like disappointment. Thank goodness I didn't pay for it myself, or that would've really been a sad birthday. I really wanted to like this place from all the talk I've heard amongst friends. I'm all for trying things for yourself, but I will definitely not be coming here again. read more

Based on some of the previous reviews, I was excited to come down from Castle Rock, Colorado to Nana's today to try out her tamales and sweets. Unfortunately every single person behind the counter was wearing their mask down off their face and under their chins. I just turned around and walked back out. I LOVE Nana's! This is a traditional panadería and has the most delicious treats! Everything is made there, except for a few packaged items- one thing I want to try is mango on a stick rolled in chile. The tres leches cake is amazing. I can't recommend highly enough! Empanadas are delicious, and I tried a bread pudding with raisins that I loved. All in all this is going to be my go-to for authentic Mexican treats. I was super excited to try this bakery after a friend at work recommended it. Unfortunately it was horrible and I threw away $25 worth of pastries and cakes. We tried the pastries from the self serve case they were old and dry and we tried a piece of chocolate cake from the cold case and it was also old and dry. A waste of money and expensive this bakery should not be selling old baked goods and they should not be doing self serve options in the pastry case as this is not sanitary. read more

Best tamales in Colorado! These are to die for... I am Argentinian but will always look for Mexican food and pan dulce. We just moved to the Springs and found Nana's bakery. You can always tell how authentic a place is when you first enter. I came here with The Woman and we were probably the only non-Spanish speaking people in the small little bakery. Nana's Bakery really should be renamed Nana's Panaderia as they specialize in Mexican pastries and cakes. Their selection was decent...not the ones Woman and I are accustomed to from SOCAL or even Rancho Liborio down the other side of town. They also have an assortment of pinatas if you need to celebrate anything...not sure on prices. They do Tres Leches cakes here but from the prices I saw, I think I'd rather go to the giant supermarket instead. Overall, if I'm in a pinch for panaderia goods, which I usually am not, I'd come here. read more

Really good pan dulce and tamales but DONT order a cake from here. They don't stick to pick up times so mine was not ready. This led to them rushing to finish which made the cake come out horrible. The icing literally fell off. Wouldn't recommend for ordering a cake but the already made ones might be a safer bet. read more
