After coming to Provision a handful of times throughout the years, I'd say their just okay. I came in recently and was a little bit surprised at the price for coffee. It was $6 bucks for what looked like a 10oz cup. Yikes! $6 bucks for a latte makes sense but for coffee? I had a couple of baked goods and I think the only thing that stood out to me was their cheese danish with some type of fruit. Overall, I think it's an okay bakery, I've definitely had better. And the prices on the coffee are a bit exaggerated and not worth it for me. I'd say if you're in the area and want to grab a pastry then give Provision a whirl, you might like it. read more

I love this location. The vibes are always cheerful and chill. Every time I come here the customer service is great. They always have a smile ready. I am gluten intolerant and they have one of the best scones in town. I'm glad I found the source because I don't have to go to three coffee shops to find this treasure. read more

Stopped in for a pastry before my husband and I's day out and couldn't have been happier to do so! We ordered a sweet pastry and a savory breakfast sandwich. We ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese bagel and a danish with cream cheese and jam. The breakfast sandwich was good, the pastry was phenomenal! Can't wait to come back and try more. 10:00 in the morning and they were out of the breakfast sandwich that I chose so I got a morning bun-very sweet. We ordered coffee and they had to brew a new pot. I went up and asked for after I was finished with my food and we eventually left without it. We stood around for 5 minutes waiting and nothing, not even an acknowledgment. Also, their beverage list is terrible-you can get canned juices or different types of canned flavored water. I wanted a still water and ended up eating my breakfast without a beverage. Large selection of coffee drinks, they have a number of very exotic options. We tried 2, one was definitely better than the other, but always interesting to try new things. We went for lunch and they were unfortunately out of sandwiches, so we went for a cheddar and jalapeño bread loaf and it was to die for. Yes prices are high but you pay for the craft. My friend and I stopped in hoping to have lunch today. The parking was a little confusing in their lot because almost all of the spots had signs saying "permit parking only" but it seemed like it was their lot. I meant to ask once I got inside but I forgot. It turns out that they are more of a "grab and go" type place and their two sandwich offerings today were already premade. I got a bagel (they only had one kind and it is a plain bagel with a particular percentage of different flours including spelt) and a croissant (chocolate espresso cream!) to go and oh my goodness the croissant was magical- crisp, flaky, delicious, with a delicious chocolate shell on half of the croissant and filled with a delicious espresso cream- it is chilled and it was incredible. My friend thought the bread on her sandwich was delicious and she enjoyed it. I wasn't able to find their menu on line ahead of time- I think it changes depending on the ingredients they source from local farms as well as what sells out- but their bread offerings are listed on the website. There is a little bit of seating inside at high bars or a table. It looks like there is outdoor seating available when the weather is warmer. I think they do high quality work and I'd love to continue to support them. I've been exploring coffee shops the week I'm in town visiting trying to taste the best the town has to offer. My wife and I stopped as we love pastries and bread. The employees were very welcoming and friendly while the environment was just a relaxing vibe with nice natural lights coming in from all windows. Now the even better part: they have a tray with all their food offerings on display. My wife and I immediately honed in on the ham and cheese croissant, an espresso cookie and a breakfast roll. We also ordered a salted caramel honey latte. They were fast! The ham and cheese croissant was a work of art. Perfect layers, flaky on the outside, not dry or hard on the inside. The h and cheese tasted excellent. It wasn't greasy at all. The cookie and breakfast roll will have to be eaten later as the croissants and coffee satisfied our hunger. The latte, was perfect! Their homemade cinnamon rolls are so delicious. The cream cheese frosting on it is the best part! Love how fluffy the dough is really on anything they make. We get our Baguettes from here and it is perfection Everytime. We ordered a Cinnamon Roll Christmas Box as well as a pastry box with croissants and my daughters loved it. The staff and owner are always so helpful, patient and friendly there. They have a small area to sit inside but more tables outside and it's perfect on a nice day. I love how everything is provided by lock farmers. Highly recommended! read more

My wife and I have tried to like this bakery. But after a half dozen times we'll not return. The food is overpriced, the coffee is bitter, and today wasn't awesome. My wife and daughter ordered sandwiches...they threw them away...un edible. My cinnamon roll was moist and delicious, yet $6 for a small cinnamon roll seemed a bit much. They provide water in a canister. Was empty and asked if they would refill. Not busy...20 minutes later it was refilled. Every employee is kind and friendly. Great location and welcoming vibe. Would be back if the coffee and sandwiches were good and reasonably priced. Sad...such potential. read more

I would give Provision more stars if I could. I get their Red Loaf weekly and the few times I have strayed (elsewhere) I was not happy I did because nothing compares. Their dark chocolate sea salt cookie is literally the best cookie I've ever had. Ever. Their breakfast sandwich is insane, you just be hungry for it, I typically get it after a sunrise Incline. We've ordered pastries for holidays before and it's always so good. Now that they have coffee, you can't go wrong. Staff is always friendly and helpful. read more

The quest for the best bakery in COS continues and Provision's currently is in the running for first place. From my first visit at the bakery, I could tell that Provisions focus was on quality and not quantity. The establishment offers limited seating but does offer both inside and outside places to eat your pastries and drink your coffee. The clean and simple interior as well as pastry display drew me in. However, it was the taste and texture of their baked goods that kept me. All purchases consumed (not pictured a potato sausage quiche) were a big yes. I was informed by one of the staff that their best work are their croissants. She was very right. Something else they do well is bread and the few bites of a shared sandwich revealed that. I can't speak to the quality of their coffee as I didn't grab any but you can bet I'll be back to try some with another one of their pastries. read more

My niece lives in Monument and I come to visit several times a year. I always enjoy Colorado Springs foodie things and one of my favorite bakeries was closed the week I was there! So sad! But someone at Building Three Coffee recommended Provision so we went! And 5 stars later... Provision checks all the boxes: easy parking, super friendly staff, adorable space and DELICIOUS things! I tried the Italian Sandwich, Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Cookie, Savory Pastry, and the Sugar Pastry. Everything was so good, we came back two days later for more! Even bought myself a cute Provision Bread bag to carry my haul away! Love, love, love! I'll be back next month when I come to visit Colorado again! read more

This bakery is in competition with Nightingale Bakery which is further north. They offer very similar products at what I see as higher prices and I prefer the baguettes at Nightingale Bakery. The staff is pleasant and service was good. It's a cute store, but I'm not persuaded away from the other bakery. So this place . . . Is dangerous. Dangerously delicious! So far my favorite items have been their pizza sourdough bread (it's unreal good), idk the name but the spicy sausage thing wrapped in croissant dough , lemon meringue croissant, their coffee cake muffin is my favorite item ( I think they make it with either sour cream or buttermilk that gives it this lovely bit to it), tahini chocolate chip cookie is out of this world good (even if you don't think you like Tahini you have to try this), their cinnamon rolls are so light and fluffy but I do with the frosting was sweeter. Oh and they had this amazing chocolate, coconut sourdough that will change your life. This place is extraordinary I'm sure I have different saved pictures of all the yummy things we've got but I don't feel like hunting for them. We will continue to come here on the regular read more

I ordered a pie for Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, I was unable to pick it up because I had a family emergency. I contacted them via email that same day and they told me they couldn't offer me a refund or store credit. I asked if I could still pick up my pie when they reopen after Thanksgiving. They told me they "wasted" it and that would not be an option either. Incredibly disappointed. Will not be returning. Not even on the holidays could they give someone grace. They typically close at 2:00 pm on Wednesdays but closed at 1pm that day. I stopped by at 1:30 and they were closed. Pie wasn't cheap either. $32 down the drain on Thanksgiving. Edited to add It's sad that this business owner would rather argue with a customer and call her a liar ON THANKSGIVING, of all days, than try to work with her on a compromise. Who else buys a $32 pie but a loyal customer? I never said that initial order didn't state that they would waste it or that they wouldn't give me a refund. I don't think asking for store credit is unreasonable. I asked you to PLEASE just work with me. I also stated in my initial review that I contacted them that day. Absolutely incredible. First impression: beautiful location and shop. Easy to get in, easy to get out, ample parking, beautifully designed. I bought over $100 worth of baked goods from Provision and EVERY SINGLE THING was absolutely delicious. Not to mention, the woman who helped me at the counter was so insightful and helpful as I was quite overwhelmed but just ended up going with all her suggestions and more. Their food is from scratch! I was there opening week and they were just getting their feet wet and they are doing a wonderful job. Service is hands-down, some of the best in Colorado Springs. Nice cute little coffee shop with a couple of tables outside. Like I said, this was opening week and they have so much more to offer as they expand! Small but cute and quaint, not the best parking lot but there's some street parking close by, and the employee we interacted with was really sweet and knowledgeable. Some food items change because they use local ingredients but that isn't much of a downside because you can TASTE the quality. We ordered the almond croissant, pork sandwich, and an Americano. The croissant was so light, fluffy, and flakey. Hard to find croissants that good. The pork sandwich was crazy -- Probably one of the best sandwiches I've had in a minute. Best true bakery in Colorado! The staff are amazing and every order is accurate. Had ice horchata matcha drink and 2egg and extremely fresh pesto english muffin sandwich! The english muffins are large and better than bagels for egg breakfast sandwiches. I buy large sourdough loaves and baguettes from the bakery, too! Iced drinks are better than most. Store has good options and had local honey that is very reasonably priced. The store has seating insides and an outside deck . When on Wahsatch Avenue keeping looking for a parking lot and driveway with the deck and store front further back away from the sidewalk and street. Very relaxing atmosphere in the downtown area in a historic building. Could use large sourdough loaves to hold multiple servings of a chowder, chili or soup. I forget to ask is smaller individual sourdough bread bowl size loaves are available. Baguettes heated in over are better than any Italian bread or french baguette in town. First visit 2/4/24, 7:50am. I bought a morning bun, potato/herb loaf, and an apple danish. a.Morning buns are inspired by, derived from, a famous Breton vienoisserie called kouign amann. Provision B/B morning bun is a competent combo of crispy/flaky and caramelized sugar/chewy. Here I give 4.89 stars. My personal preference is a bit more caramelized sugar bottom crust, given that I would go full 4.99stars b.Potato herb loaf was still warm!! Excellent crust and beautiful moist chewy crumb. c. Apple danish...holy moly this beast is pure soul satisfying. Lots of diced apples sitting on a ?cream cheese? filling with a crispy/chewy crust. Great service with a smile! Urban cool atmosphere, product nicely displayed, and open kitchen! Yes it's expensive, and my opinion, worth it. My next visit I'll try the foccacia. read more

We had the apricot goat cheese danish, ham & cheese croissant , and plain croissant with an iced switchfoot coffee. Everything was very good, and the staff was very friendly. There's only three 15 minute parking spots, all other parking is permit only. You'll have to park on the street, but it's metered. We grabbed a 15 minute spot, and took it to go. There's not a lot of places to sit, but it was very busy. They have lots of loads to choose from, even a chocolate option, but it was a bit pricy. So, I skipped the purchase. I wanted to ask if they were sourdough. I hope someone else will cover the bread. If it's good, and worth the splurge I'd return. read more

We've been waiting to try Provision, and were able to stop in this morning about 10:30. The shop is nice, bright and airy, the people were friendly and very helpful, and the smell delightful. Unfortunately, the bread and pastries were hit-or-miss. We bought a selection to try: Morning Buns - perfectly prepared and utterly delicious. Evilly good - you've been warned. Almond croissant: overdone and just shy of burnt. Very disappointing. Sea Salt Focaccia: just a bit overdone and a little drier than we like. Good flavor though, and I enjoyed it. French Baguette: like the croissant, very overdone. The crust was overly thick and shatteringly crisp - to the point of being dangerous to the gums. The crumb was dry, but did have a nice flavour. We expect that the misses are simply teething pains as the bakers dial in their recipes and new ovens. Despite the problems we wish Provision well, and will definitely give them another try in a few weeks. read more
