Vickie will not schedule a surgery date until I get an EKG. Novato says they will not give me an EKG until I have a date planned for surgery. I called Vickie and told her that. " Well you need to find a new Dr.". Novato staff member called her to see what there rules are. after NCH hung up, her words were "She is Rude.". NCH made an EKG appointment. I got it. due to a past history problem with Dr Howes office, I called Novato to see if they sent it. Yes twice they told me. I called Vickie, three times, to ask if they have Received the results. it's been two weeks. I have not heard from her. In paper Dr Howes gave me, it said I have to have an EKG 4-10 days prior to surgery. it's been two weeks. I don't even have an appointment. because of Vickie, I would look for another Dr. But I heard Dr Howes the best. I am sure Vickie is a good scheduler. But she does not know how to work with people. Office workers are so underpaid. They don't give real raises. Only buy you free junk food and…read moreStarbucks. They don't seem to care too much about paying livable wages to their employees. Lots of people have quit since I started working there. I wish them the best and hope that they can treat the employees with more appreciation and pay them the wages they earn and deserve. I wouldn't want to support a business that doesn't support their own staff. Two of the 4 office staff had second jobs to pay bills and rent. (I was one of them) I eventually quit to pursue another career in a Longshoreman Union that pays 20$ more an hour. They unjustly fired one of the employees cause she broke her arm and needed extra time off and needed to leave 15 minutes early for her second job just to make ends meet. They don't treat employees the same. Some get away with 3 week vacations while this poor employee got fired on the spot because of things out of her control. Not a good look on the owner who is the head Physical Therapist. Everyone is pretty happy and fun to work with. But I think you can pay your head receptionist more then 17.50$/hr. Fast food workers make 20$/hour. It's a good short stepping stone to gain knowledge and experience of physical therapy and an office environment. Just trying to be honest.
