    Spicy Chicken Caesar Salad (10/10)
    Jaseph S.

Looking for a cute date-night without spending an arm and a leg? Well the Nando's in Laurel could be a great experience! You'll first notice the artistic and cultural ambience. The decor here is colorful, vibrant, and fused with South African heritage. The food is fresh and full of flavor! I ordered the Spicy Chicken Caesar salad and bread which comes topped with your choice of Peri sauce. I've actually been pretty hooked on this salad ever since my first bite lol I opted for medium sauce which had just right amount of kick. I enjoyed my meal but I also have to highlight the superb service! The management here is top notch and I can tell they train their staff to offer quality service. I was greeted, seated, and routinely checked on throughout my time here-- felt like I was getting a fine-dining experience. I'll be back soon for another Spicy Chicken Caesar salad. Way to go Nando's --looking forward to my next visit!

Been awhile since I visited Nandos! This location has always been one of my faves in the area! Still good and quick service here with friendly employees. I stopped by yesterday. The red sangria is everything! Food was tasty and fresh! It's the sauces for me! I didn't realize how lucky we are to have Nandos in the area. My sister moved to Philly a few years ago and there's none there so when she's visiting she is happy to go to Nandos and this is usually her location of choice! Parking is tight though!

Nando's Review Stopped by Nando's for a quick bite and it did not disappoint! I got the Lemon & Herb Chicken Wrap with fries and a refreshing Mango-Limeade on the side. The wrap was packed with juicy chicken, crisp lettuce, and fresh flavor--light but super satisfying. The fries? Crispy, golden, and the perfect sidekick. And the drink? A tropical, tangy twist that paired perfectly with the meal. Definitely a solid lunch spot--flavorful, fast, and fresh. Would I go back? Absolutely. Its been a while since i been here. Last time I was here it was a good experience. This time as well. Staff and service is very nice and friendly. The chicken sandwhich was bomb The pineapple, the heat great mixture complemented the cheese and chicken condiments. Space is clean. Will come again

Great experience for a late lunch at Nando's. It was slow getting service to be seated but then we ordered on the table with a QR code. Service was friendly and checked on us. For the food and drinks: the initial cocktail pitcher we ordered wasn't available but the orange mango lemonade was good, not too sweet. The mango lime wings and the Brussels sprouts were good and the sweet potatoes were my favorite. Garlic bread was also good. Overall a great experience for a quick meal. We'll be back

We had the family platter for 6 of us. The chicken was soft and tasted pretty good. They have a variety of sauces but their sourness is not just for me. I didn't particularly like the sauces. Other than that, space is nicely decorated and clean.

I usually like Nando's and the food was good and semi good customer service amazing playlist. However I ordered a brownie and never got it so I had to ask for a refund. I at first was told it would take "a minute"by this young kid that worked there. And hr and a half passed by and nothing came. We asked him to check on it and he didn't do it. The manager offered to give it to go but I didn't even want it at this point. The manager was nice enough to give me a refund. When she was processing the refund, another girl asked " how long do brownies take" and she said "oh just 30 seconds". Not sure what happened with my order but we got our wings fast and the brownie was no where to be found.

Garlic Bread CLT PERi Chips with PERinaise
    Lade E.

Nandos has a new menu item, the Garlic CLT, which keeps me coming back for more. I ordered it again and while it wasn't the best I've had, it did the trick. I had a side of fries with perinaise sauce. The fries were nice and hot. The kitchen was also very generous with the perinaise sauce. I'm usually running out of sauce before I get to the end of my meal but I had leftovers this time around. My chicken tasted a little bit too charred and the garlic bread bun was a bit dry. Nandos team members came around every 15 mins to make sure we were enjoying ourselves, which got annoying after the 3rd time but i appreciate the intentionality. Overall the food was decent. The table was a bit sticky but the environment was quiet and the music playing was definitely set the vibe. I think I prefer other locations for future visits but would return as a last resort.

I've always had such a great experience at this location. My family and I will usually come here on Friday's. Employees are hospitable. You have the option to order online or walk to the register and place your order. We normally place our order online. The servers will bring your food to your table. They have a lovely clean station with additional utensils, napkins, sauces, wet naps, sink to wash your hands. They really do think of everything. We order the family meal that comes with 2 sides. Food is always well cooked, flavors explode in your mouth, it's super delicious. Parking here can be a little wonky because parking in front of the stores is usually taken so you may have to drive around and find additional parking which is usually behind the businesses.

They sure have a lot of salsas!

First, here's a parking tip: don't depend on Google maps to get you here easily! The layout of this shopping center has Google sending me in circles. Park in back by Burlington! Excellent service and food. I had never had sweet potatoes prepared like that and really enjoyed them. Portuguese rice was also new to me, although my friend - who recently spent 2 weeks in Portugal - said it's a very regional dish with lots of variations. There's a self-serve salsa bar where you can get little cups of different flavors. I was a bit disappointed they didn't have mango lime to try, but I really liked the garlic & herb. Satisfying experience, all around!

So, this will be an odd review so please bare with me. I'm giving them 3 stars because the food isnt bad, just not for us. The place is clean, well lit, and the staff is very friendly. The food is kind of mini portions, we ordered wings with corn on the cob and cauliflower and everything was like bite size. The wings were tiny and the skin/outside were rubbery but cooked though. The corn was sweet and good but were little cobs with tiny kernels and the cauliflower was just cauliflower, nothing special and a small portion The flavor of the wings was ok, the sauces available are just not enough as only 3 to choose from but again just not for us, you may love it. So my bottom line, give it a try, you may like the food. The food

Depends who you are with. It has more of a "cool casual" vibe but I find it kind of like taking your laptop to Chipotle. Nothing too fancy.

The awning outside needs refurbishment and inside furniture is not updated. It's dark inside, almost like a night club. Perhaps it is sometimes. I think one plate is big enough to share. I like the spinach, but everything needed a bit of salt. I'd heard great things about The Continent, so it felt like a must-try especially since Swahili Village is one of our go-to favorites for comparison. The space itself was great, nice interior, well-decorated, and service was solid throughout. They also had two distinct vibes going: one side had a bit of a DJ/lounge energy, while the other was more elegant and laid-back, better for actual dinner conversation. We sat on the calmer side. Drinks were good. We had a sangria and a tequila-based cocktail, both solid. For appetizers, we got the shrimp and the beef samosas. Unfortunately, the beef samosas just didn't hold up compared to Swahili Village's. I've had Swahili Village's beef samosas multiple times and they always come out hot, crispy, and consistent. These didn't quite match up, and that was strike one for me. The shrimp appetizer was nice, good sauce, though it could've used a bit more depth of flavor. I also ordered the pepper soup, which was excellent and genuinely spicy (more than I could really handle, but I still finished it). For entrées, my boyfriend got the Suya with jollof rice, and I got the red snapper with jollof rice as well. He really enjoyed his. The beef was cooked well and flavorful, and the jollof rice was good. My fish was also cooked nicely, though the sauce needed a bit more flavor. The bigger issue: they were out of plantains. That was strike two, and it stung more because it was my boyfriend's birthday dinner and plantains are his favorite. It's rare for an African or Caribbean restaurant to run out of them entirely. Overall, a decent experience, but with the high expectations going in, a couple of misses kept it from fully living up to the hype for us. I'd go back for the pepper soup and give it another shot, but I'm hoping for hotter, fresher samosas and actual plantains next time.

We ordered a generous portion of raw beef for kitfo, and after we sampled a piece, the kitchen happily cooked the rest to a beautiful medium rare -- no fuss, no attitude, just quiet hospitality. The vegetable platter held its own against the meats -- just as vibrant and flavorful, if not more so, with layers of spice in every lentil and green. The samosas were a fun twist too: a lighter, crispier shell closer to an Asian spring roll than the heavier Indian version, stuffed with well-seasoned lentils instead of the usual potato filling. There are some gorgeous pieces of beaded jewelry, artwork, clothing, and more in this store. This is an authentic African collection store so you can find just about anything that you'd like that will relate to your African roots. Mr. Kwame was really pleasant, friendly, he engaged his customers, and he just innately knew what we liked or what he thought would be pretty on us. Blue is my favorite color and he picked out this wonderful dress and I fell in love with it instantly. It fits well, has pockets, and a belt to match. My daughter came into the store and before she could begin to browse, he took one look at her, pulled the mannequin inside, and removed the dress from it. He gave it to her with a humble, rather gorgeous smile, and said, "This was made just for you." She turned to see that it was the dress from the mannequin and once again the words, "I love it!," were squeaked into the air. She went to the fitting room to try it on and it fit very well. So we bought it! She wore the dress right out of the store. I changed into mine later and pinned my hair up with the beaded hair pin. Mrs. Sandy got the orange and yellow dress with a bracelet. She absolutely loved that too. You cannot go wrong in this store. I really thought that he was not going to have anything to fit me because I have such large bosoms, however he did. It surprised me. I highly recommend this establishment. Tell Mr. Kwame that the "Shawn, Lady in Blue" sent you. LoL! 5 Stars.

They tried to appease the pair of diners next to us with free shots of something, but nothing for us because we went an acquaintance and his sister who are regulars, so they knew it didn't matter if we were happy or not. Food was terrible. I had the rainbow trout which seemed like it might have come frozen. Topped with dull brown gravy and canned mushrooms. Got a large dollop of bland mashed potatoes with it and a few green beans. TLDR: this place is for senior citizens who take comfort in familiar cafeteria level food. I'm perplexed how it's in business with high ratings. I've come here numerous times because the person I know (who's about 25 years my senior) comes here every Friday night.

It is a $24.95 flat price offering an appetizer, entree and dessert for that price. (Only available Tuesday through Thursday and Sunday from 5-6:30 pm). There were about 6 choices each for appetizers and entrees and 3 for dessert. My companion had a mussel appetizer and I had French Onion soup. My soup was a great example of the classic preparation. Bubbly and browned cheese over a deeply flavorful broth of onions and a slice of French bread. My companion loved the mussels. As to the entree I had what was called Beef Diane, a twist on the classic Steak Diane. It consisted of tips of filet in a delicious gravy flavored with cognac. My companion had Rainbow Trout and was very happy with it. For dessert we both had cheesecake with strawberry sauce. A good example of a New York style cheesecake. Both entrees were served with well cooked mixed vegetables. The portions were not a scaled down size but normal size. The meal comes with fresh baked toasted bread served warm. Delicious. The service was attentive which was to be expected because there were only 3 tables occupied. A complimentary shot of a what I think was kahlua was served at the end of the meal. The atmosphere is lots of dark wood and a classic bar. Great food and a great experience. Don't pass up this great value!!
