Love this location for Nando's! This is the second time I've been here. Food is consistent. I really enjoy their Lemon & Herb sauced chicken. The meat was cooked to perfection and very tender! For sides, I had the brussel sprouts and spiced rice. Both were great. I also had the mango-flavoured lemonade, which was great paired with spicy items. Service was courteous and helpful. This is a nice and well maintained restaurant, super easy to find within the plaza and located in a very convenient area. The food was good! I had the Peri Sweet Hear Mac Holiday bowl as my mail meal and was very flavourful. My favourite was the coleslaw! The portion size is good if you're not really that hungry, if you are very hungry then you may need to get a side. I also tried the Hibiscus Lemonade and I found that this would be a perfect drink on a hot summer day. I found a nice little corner to sit in after placing my order and I really enjoyed my time. I'm a vegetarian so I went with the rainbow vegetarian bowl and it was delicious. It came with grilled slices of halloumi, avocado, a refreshing tomato, cucumber, and onion salad, pickled cauliflower, creamy hummus, what they call a superseed crunch, with feta, all on a bed of rice, drizzled with their lemon and herb sauce. It was a good size portion and every bite was great. I also had to try their Portuguese custard tart. Small but tasty. A nice little sweet treat. Overall, it was a good fast-casual meal. The staff then asked about my meal preferences and told me to take a seat while I waited for my order, which did not take long at all. When I got home, I absolutely loved my meal. The mixed olives brought their briney delights to the palate. Although the chicken livers did hold a residue gamey flavor, it was nonetheless a great pairing with the garlic bread. The name of Nando's game is the chicken, and this was where they fell short. Anemic and bland, even when doused in sauce. For once we decided to try the mango & lime chicken but was not very impressed by it. I prefer lemon & herb. The coleslaw portion was quite small. Don't forget to pick up your utensils, napkins, hot sauces, etc. They bring it to you when it's ready (it took about 10 minutes). I didn't want to order a lot of food so I went for an appetizer and a side and the portions were great for a single person. I have tried Nandos from other branches but this was the first time I ordered their food for delivery. Even though the food was well seasoned, I would recommend dining in so that you taste the food when it's fresh because by the time it arrived, the fries were soggy and the wings were cold. I would give this experience a two-star rating because I think it would've tasted great in the restaurant but by the time it reached me, it didn't taste fresh. Worst food experience ever!!! Went here to have dinner I was so hungry and excited to have Nando's so I ordered the variety platter and coleslaw and peri peri fries and corn. So when the platter came there was chicken on sticks which were extremely dry. The chicken wings all burned and dry. The corn as you can see also burned(as you can see it in the picture) And the fries salty( I recommend if you have blood pressure problems stay away from them). The chicken was not cooked well and red inside and now I have to deal with that with a upset stomach and so does my husband.... That's seriously not cool... Please don't play with customers health if you don't know how to cook proper chicken just leave it or give your cooks better training . Thanks Nando's see you never again. Called in 15 minutes before the start of Game 4 of the 2019 NBA Finals game. They verified on the call they are participating in the Full Chicken Deal for every NBA playoff day. The deal is a whole chicken with 2 regular sides and garlic bread for $20.19 + tax. I opted for medium spice, fries and veggies. The lady on the phone said it would take 15-20minutes. So disappointing with the quality of food going downhill here. My family and I use to love ordering from here but recently it's been bad. It's like the restaurant has given up or just doesn't care about the delivery customers. Not everyone has time to sit and eat at a restaurant. Especially with us, having a newborn, I dont want to bring him to restaurants just yet as he cries and I dont want to disturb other people. That being said, tonight was very disappointing and really turned us off from ordering from here again. We love the hamoulli cheese offered and always order a large order. The art work and music had me feeling like I was somewhere hot on a nice vacation seated patio side while dancers preformed (ovi just an imagination). The way to order was very unique, it's pretty much self serve, almost fast foodish. The waitress didn't do a great job of explaining but she was still nice and explained herself after the fact. The food was a good portion and pretty full of flavour. I absolutely loved the garlic mashed potatoes. Not mention the food came out in a very timely manner, the presentation was not so bad either. Fancy restaurant with great chicken but not so good service/management. I was intrigued about it when we bought their peri peri sauce from a grocery store. I liked the sauce because it can even be paired with scrambled eggs! So, anyways, we bought the share a platter with 1 whole chicken, peri peri fries, garlic bread, and a fountain drink. The chicken was tasty and the size was more like KFC's rather than Popeyes (you get the difference). Peri-peri fries is a regular fries sprinkled with some spices and was salty which I liked but I bet it's not good for people who have high blood pressure. Garlic bread was the best I had so far, very tasty and good specially when it was hot. Now, I gave 2 stars because, when you get in there to dine in, they will have you seated, give you a menu and when you're ready to order, they'll ask you to PAY FIRST before they send your food. and YES, TIP! I've been here a few times - sit down and for takeout. This place is a choice of my colleagues but not really understanding why as there are other food options in the same plaza that are way better. As for service it's hit or miss depending on how busy it gets. My most recent trip here, we were 6 people ordering for lunch. We lined up around 11:40 and waited about 20 mins before all of us getting our food... with no one in the restaurant. While it's understandable that they get phone orders and Ritual orders, I felt like they were still scrambling and the wait felt like forever. It's not hard to prep the appetizers as the chicken is cooking on the grill - y'all still sleeping back there? Food wise, the Peri Peri chicken 1/4 I got was tasty, but definitely on the small side. My favourite would be the chippers with aioli on the side. Don't get the corn as you will be disappointed. Very disappointed - it's dry and tastes like you're eating dishwashing gloves. Call me savage but that's how I felt eating it. I don't think I'll be coming back here on my own accord. There are way better places to spend my caloric intake and money at. I have known about Nando's chicken for many years and recall last having it in Vancouver about 20 years ago. What started as a small chain in the West is growing in Ontario. Finally I had to try it out. And after ordering a half chicken with one side, and paying close to $16, I realized that while the chicken is good, its not that good. There are many Portuguese chicken places that serve the same amount of chicken and similar or better for about half the price. Although at the same price as Swiss Chalet, I would say Nando's is better. The interior of the place seemed a little tropical/seafood in design, the cost of the chicken must reflect the money put into the interior. Unless you plan to eat in the restaurant, as a take-out service, Mario's BBQ chicken is way better! read more

I went to this restaurant while visiting Canada with my family. It was very close to our hotel, and customer service was excellent. I also loved their interior. Food was fine, but not amazing. My biggest complaint was that their menu did not have much variety. All of their dishes are pretty basic, and choices are either vegetarian or consist of chicken. I may reconsider visiting this restaurant again, but commend them for providing good customer service and being so friendly even when the restaurant gets busy. read more

This cost me ~$15 after tax, which seemed fine as I thought I was getting a fairly large meal (I'm picturing Swiss Chalet meals here). Ok so now here's where this story gets better - I waited a full 50 minutes to get my order! FIVE-ZERO. Standing in there from 12:00 till 12:50, I almost lost my mind and started hallucinating dancing chickens doing the salsa. People seated later than me got their order, ate it, and went home and took a nap. I was near the point of fainting when these angelic Portuguese egg tarts ($2.50) called to me and offered themselves to my belly. My saviour, I'll never forget you oh sweet Natas. Ok so these egg tarts saved my life and I finally got my order - I was so prepared for this feast and to my disappointment when I opened my boxes, these were ant sized meals! See my photo - the 1/4 chicken itself was $8, like are you serious? I see the breakdown of the $8 including labour fees associated with Nando's personally breeding the chickens, giving them a tender massage, singing them lullabies, before serving it to us. Sure - the chicken was delicious, moist (was told not to say this, so juicy) and I would've loved another, but for the price I was paying??? No way José!
