If you like overpaying for the most basic services this place is for you. I was charged $60 to hem two pairs of pants. - I used to pay half that when I lived in Denver. When I asked if that was the normal rate, I was told "we will take care of you" - whatever that means. But I was in a hurry and needed the pants asap. After 5 weeks of not hearing if they were ready, I decided to stop in. For such a steep price, I had assumed they would use the original hem. I was wrong. I was told it would be another $60 to use the original hem. After trying both pair of pants on, they both were too short. So I basically paid $60 for Nandwani to ruin 2 pairs of pants. I will not be going back. I do not recommend Nandwani to anybody. read more

I stopped into Nandwanis to get a blazer taken in that I had purchased about a size to big to fit my arms and chest. When I walked in, I was greeted nicely and told to take my sweater off so she could get a proper measurement on the blazer. She directed me to the larger dressing room so I could take off my sweater and she could pin in without me having to come out into the main part of the store. She pinned everything in very carefully and let me know it would be about two weeks before it was ready. I will update when I pick up the finished product! read more

There are many tailors in the Brentwood area but if you're looking for the most professional and creative, look no further than Nandwani's! My wife had a part of a dress that she wanted made into a skirt. With a waistband, zipper in the back and hook. This was to be worn at our daughter's wedding the following weekend,,,,long story short is Nandwani had only a few days to make it but she did it perfect the first time, with no issues whatsoever! No coming back for second fittings and she got it finished early. We were blown away with the way it looked and my wife was extremely pleased. 5 stars are not enough! I took the suit into Nandwani's and they had it done and back to me in two days exactly the way that I wanted the suit to fit. I took in two of my daughter's uniform skirts in to be altered. She is extremely tall for her size and so the waist had to be taken in a great deal. Instead of taking it in equally on both sides, as a good tailor should, they only took the skirts in on one side and so now the elastic goes from her one hip to her back, completely off center. The skirts now fit her at a funny angle and are pretty much unwearable. I now have to buy yet another set of skirts for my daughter, plus eat the $40 they charged me to alter them. I definitely would not recommend this tailor to anyone. read more

Do not go here. She took the boning out of my strapless wedding dress and when I returned not knowing what went wrong but knowing that my dress did not fit and that I was at risk of flashing everyone at my wedding, she refused to help. My dress looked horrible, saggy and trying to support it staying up without boning killed my back. It's hard to look at pictures. Before she worked on it, it was a simple and flattering dress that she turned into a painful and expensive disappointment. What seamstress wouldn't know that this would ruin your dress?! read more
