Absolutely fantastic! The coffee is rich, smooth, and downright delicious. It's just a shame the coffee shop is only open from 8 to 1. Sipping it while taking in the stunning marina views is pure bliss.

As the weather warms, it's the perfect time for patio dining! We visited Nanoose Bay cafe for the beautiful scenery and atmosphere. They open the floor length glass doors during the warmer weather, which gives you patio feels without needing to be right outside! (They offer patio seating too) Our server Megan was friendly, patient, and attentive. We ordered the full serving of Caesar salad ($17.75) to share between the 4 of us. The share plates had cute floral patterns, which was a pleasant surprise (as compared to boring white plates). Portion size of the salad was satisfying. I liked the crispy capers, since the salad itself was quite salty it helped that these weren't overwhelming. I also found the torn romaine lettuce pieces a bit big for bite-sized, which is what I usually look for in a good salad. We ordered two of the steak frites ($54.75), medium rare. The steaks arrived on a bed of fries nestled on wood blocks which was a clever presentation. The steaks were cooked perfectly, however there was an odd char to ours that made it too bitter to enjoy. The fries were fresh and crispy, but too salty for our liking. The highlight was the salsa verde for me, as it cut the fatty feel of the steak and butter. The braised beef ($32.75) came with a sensible portion of fried rice, which was fragrant and tasty. The crispy taro nest was a bit disappointing as it was just bits of fried taro sprinkled on top. I was expecting more of a nest-shaped effort. The beef was tender and flavorful. Finally, we also had the seafood gnocchi ($35.75). This was packed with seafood such as smoked salmon, prawns, scallops and some white fish. The gnocchi was fluffy and light, matched well with the delicious creamy dill sauce. Maybe it was due to the smoked salmon, but overall the dish was tasty albeit quite salty. Overall the atmosphere was wonderful, aside from the high concentration of flies that swarmed our table. Service is friendly and quick, could have used a few more water refills though! Food was decent quality but quite heavily salted.

Food was very good - appies, salmon, crab, pork. Wine was a good choice. Service was excellent. Ambience/view is to die for!

based on other yelp reviews, i had bookmarked this as a place to potentially stop into while in the…read morevicinity. it turned out i was in sechelt today and decided to get something to go. there are lots of really great sounding options on their menu, from bowls to bennies. i chose the harvest bowl and can say was no disappointed. even though i took it to go, it was quite tasty, was an ample serving size (has essentially left me full for the better part of the afternoon) and really good ingredients. the service was also positive in terms of the cashier telling me approximately how long the wait would be and then announcing my order number when it was ready. while i didn't sample any baked goods the case was pretty stocked mid morning and there were definitely occupied tables both inside and out. a nice find for sure!

I ordered the daily special, which was an eggs benedict featuring vodka-infused bacon. I ordered at…read morethe counter, and since it was a weekday, the service was quick and the cafe wasn't too busy. The caramelized onions were exceptionally flavorful--so delicious! The biscuit was perfect--buttery, fluffy, and nicely crusty on the outside. The hollandaise was also quite good. However, the eggs were a bit overcooked for my preference; the whites were solid and the yolks were mostly set rather than runny. Overall, it was a very flavorful meal, and I will definitely return when I'm back on the Sunshine Coast
