I took 2 buses to get there so i had to leave my dog in my broken truck because i cant bring her on the bus and it now 3 1/2 hours longer then i was supposed to be gone, its getting hot outside "windows are down a little" and i have no part to fix my truck and i live 3 hours away in south pierce county... Hate to dump a one star review but this store doesn't deserve anything else…read more Called ahead before driving up from the south end of the island at night to get a VERY expensive headlanp replacement for my wife's Cayenne. They are readily available at most parts stores. They said they had it in stock and gave me a quote on two different quality levels. So I drove up there and they said that they show one but it must be in the totes delivered from their warehouse that they were too lazy to put away all day. The first guy that helped me was friendly and positive but an idiot. He then told me he was new. BUT he took the time to start looking through the totes for me enthusiastically before he realized there were too many to look through. The other two employees stood there in an empty store looking at me and the computer instead of helping their go worker. They asked me how far I would drive tonight to get one??? Omg. This was the laziest and worst prepared group of employees I've seen in a long time to be responsible for a major chain store of inventory. Do not rely on this Autozone! I just ordered the same Phillips brand lamp as I have originally from Germany for $70 less on Amazon that will be at my door by tomorrow night.

They also cleaned old oil residue from the engine, added leak dye, and confirmed there wasn't an active leak. While it was in the shop, they serviced the overdue transfer case and front differential fluids. What stood out was their honesty. They could have recommended more extensive repairs, but instead they fixed what needed attention and explained everything clearly. Sean was a pleasure to work with, and the entire team was professional and transparent. We've found our automotive shop in Anacortes!

Our mechanic was well-trained, professional, and was able to winkle out the problem with our engine in good time. They do the work you need, and don't try to 'gild the lily' or pad their labor time. THE THORNS: Hourly rate is steepish, but I suspect it's in line with what comparable yards are charging. Most importantly, they DO make the most of each hour they charge for, so you are getting good value for money. THE VERDICT: Considering that there's probably not that much competition here, they really have the opportunity to take advantage of people if they wanted to. The point is they don't! These guys are straight shooters, and you can have them work on your boat with confidence. Highly recommend.
