This store is a life saver!…read more We are contractors and had a job on Orcas Island. We had never been to Orcas before and were unfamiliar with the area. Before we set out for the island, I looked up local hardware stores (just in case). I found Island Hardware & Supply, called them to make sure they would have what we MIGHT need, hopped in the truck and got on the ferry. OF COURSE it turned out that we DID need some items, so we set off for the Hardware store. We got lost and ended up at the little hardware store in East Sound - we thought we were at the right store, but they didn't have any of the supplies we needed. We were pretty confused until I found out from a local resident that the little hardware store in East Sound is on North Beach Road, and the big hardware store (Island Hardware) is on West Beach Road. So we hopped back in the truck again, and set out to find Island Hardware. (yes, we got losat again...but eventually figured it out) We were so relieved when we located the store and were able to purchase the supplies we needed, because we were thinking that we would have to get on the ferry and drive to the home depot in Mt Vernon (that would have taken forever). Island Hardware had all the stuff we wanted, lumber, tools, big bolts, lag screws, plumbing supplies etc. They even have a couple of little gas pumps which was handy for us. We had the occassion to go back up to Orcas for round two of the job which was exterior painting. The paint we purchased needed to be re-tinted at the last minute. We remembered that Island Hardware had a paint department and took the buckets of paint to them with our fingers crossed. Even though we didn't buy the paint from them, they happily re-tinted it for us...I thought that was pretty generous and excellent customer service!

She recommended me this gas station, which is located less than five minutes from her house, driving, and on my way in/out of town. There are two main driving entrances/exits one can pull in/out of and the pumping stalls are not too cramped. In my experience the station has been cleanly. Prices are the best deal I have encountered in the area. Happy I heeded my grandma's recommendation for this spot. Makes seeing her even more sweet knowing gas won't be quite as pressing a financial factor in the visits.

For $18, it's a hard sell however, my vehicle is like 99% clean. Probably to all bystanders it's 100% but I'm very particular and look up and down at everything. I've been here before and I will return. I think it's the best value wash you're going to get in PA without having someone hand detail it. Just be prepared to further dry it off when you leave. 9/10 at 4 stars. Nothing bad. Just more than I like to pay for a wash each time when I need a regular wash. If you're really particular, you could always self wash at one of their stations. I'll be back of course and you could do a lot worse elsewhere. Give them a go.

It's a good car wash but rating low because of false advertisement and shady business practice…read more Charging my card $10 then updating it to $20 is ridiculous. $20 dollars to wash a car in a drive through is a rip. I have been to many car washes in 44 years and they arent $20 and they sure as heck dont update the price later on. I hope this new car wash being built is better or Im finally buying the powerwasher I had my eyes on.
