I am extremely happy with my service. John gave me regular updates and addressed all of my concerns. After taking my car to 2 previous shops the team at Rocco's pointed out that I had the wrong type of tires installed on my car.

I brought my 2018 Porsche Macan in for a check engine light and was told it needed four cam magnets, and I paid them approx. $3,000 for parts and labor. I was also warned that if the light came back, I'd be looking at a massive timing chain repair with 40+ labor hours--essentially a scare tactic for an extremely expensive future repair. After picking the car up, I drove it less than 20 miles. On the second short drive, the dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree, the car began shaking, and it was clearly unsafe to drive. I had it towed to a Porsche dealer. The dealer immediately told me the issue couldn't even be properly diagnosed because non-Porsche (non-OEM) parts had been installed by Rocco's. They replaced those parts with OEM Porsche parts, performed the same repair, and charged me $600 LESS than Rocco's did. The car now drives perfectly. I returned the removed non-OEM parts to Rocco's along with the dealer's invoice clearly showing: * The same repair * OEM parts * Lower cost * Proper diagnosis and resolution Despite all of this, Rocco's refused to refund anything from their original repair. Paying more for inferior, non-OEM parts that failed almost immediately--and then refusing to stand behind the work--is unacceptable. If you own a German car, especially a Porsche, take it somewhere that uses the correct parts and stands behind their repairs. This shop does neither. Save yourself the time, money, and stress. Go elsewhere.

First, let's start by saying this. $10k spent at this shop for my husband to get handed back a…read moretruck that literally would have killed us had he not known this truck as well as he does and decided something was wrong and slowed down to 2mph. The brake calipers were replaced and they didn't complete the job correctly so a bolt either was not put back in or lock tight was not applied and it backed out causing the caliper to move and get lodged between the rim. Ultimately this destroyed the rip causing it to bust and the truck went off the road. Next, they replaced fuel lines going to the fuel bowl and did not install them properly so diesel was going all over the engine and ground. Luckily, he was able to correct this issue. We lost a half a tank of fuel because we didn't realize it was spraying everywhere until it was too late. Next, the fuel line that was replaced was routed over the valve cover and they did not even take the hard line out that was "replaced" it was just left there! Next, they said they replaced the injector gaskets (with the harness), funny thing- they were informed those had just been replaced. So we knew one had a broken clip in the back and low and behold we get it back and magically that clip is still broken yet it was replaced? They kept the truck for an entire month and still couldn't complete things correctly. Pro: they managed to replace battery cables and terminals correctly. So if this is what you're needing, highly recommend....otherwise GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE. As a Navy Veteran myself I expect honor, courage, and commitment from any business just as I give these core values myself in anything I do. This shop has miserably failed to uphold simple values. Communication was poor at best, however the owner did jump in after it hit the month mark and worked on the truck to get it out of the shop for us and he had better communication than the guys he employed. However, in our opinion, your weakest link is also the face of your company just the same as your top mechanic. They are currently "fixing" their mistakes. Will fully update this review once they have corrected and fixed their wrongs.

My experience with Motorcars International was horrible, and I feel compelled to share so others…read moredon't make the same mistake I did. So better late than never. On 10/25, I brought my 2011 Audi A4 with 115K miles to Motorcars International because my engine coolant light came on. My go-to mechanic (German Car Repair) was too far away, and Motorcars International had decent reviews--clearly misleading. After dropping off my car, I was contacted with a list of "necessary repairs": replacing the coolant pipe, upper timing cover, and upper control arms, totaling over $1,700. Trusting their "expertise," I approved the repairs. The moment I picked up the car and drove the short 1.7 miles home, red flags started flying. When I turned off the car in my garage, I noticed a bizarre running noise, something I had NEVER experienced before. Concerned, I called the shop, and the front desk guy told me it was "normal"--some absolute nonsense about it stopping after five minutes. Spoiler alert: it wasn't normal. Later that SAME day, I drove 4.4 miles, and guess what? The engine coolant light came back on! I just picked the car up only a few hours ago. How is this possible after just spending over $1K? When I called the shop again, front desk dude was, unsurprisingly, smug and useless. His "maybe you should bring it back" response was annoying. Ya think?! He even admitted they "might not have driven the car long enough" after the repair. What kind of shop doesn't properly test a car after repairs?! Afraid to risk the highway, I spent two hours crawling 4.4 miles back home, pulling over repeatedly as the engine coolant light kept coming on and giving my car time to cool off. It was a nerve-wracking ordeal that could have been avoided if they had done their job right the first time. The next day, I took the car back, only to be told that the water pump--the real culprit--needed replacing. This repair cost me an additional $1,164.92. When I asked why they didn't catch this the first time, I got some ridiculous excuse about it "not showing up." Newsflash: a thorough diagnostic should have uncovered this issue in the first place. Where is the subject matter expertise. I argued they should at least cover part of the cost since their negligence led to this fiasco, but they refused. This shop's lack of thoroughness, laziness, and poor communication could have cost me my safety. What if my engine had failed while on the highway? In total, I spent nearly $3,000, most of which could have been avoided had they done their job properly the first time. I will never return to Motorcars International and strongly urge anyone reading this to look elsewhere. For quality, professional, and thorough service, go to German Car Repair on 6070 Atlanta Hwy in Alpharetta. They have master Audi technicians, fair prices, and won't risk your safety with half-baked repairs.

This NAPA is located near the Big Chicken (same side of the road) in Marietta. There are a lot of other auto parts stores nearby like Advance Auto Parts, AutoZone, and O'Reilly. I stopped by this NAPA during my lunch break to pick up some replacement tail/brake light bulbs for my car. I purchased my last set from O'Reilly. O'Reilly and AutoZone carry Sylvania brand bulbs. NAPA carries Wagner brand. The bulbs burn and look the same. My car uses a mix of bulb brands and you can't tell a difference. The bulbs (2) cost $6.35 after tax (Wagner BP17881, equivalent to Sylvania 7225). I first tried to buy the Sylvanias at Advance, but they were out of stock. This NAPA store was open, airy, bright, clean, and neatly organized. I like the look of the NAPA stores better than Advance, AutoZone, and O'Reilly. It wasn't busy. There were several (4-5) employees and, at one point, I was the only customer. Customer service was good. The employee (#14) who checked me out signed me up for NAPA Rewards (www.naparewards.com) where you get $5 for every $100 you spend. You automatically get $5 off your next purchase after setting up your account. Your NAPA Rewards account is tied to your phone number. Also, AAA members get 10% off all purchases at NAPA.
