Martin did a diagnostic and discovered I had a short in the dashboard wiring harness. I paid him to fix it and he fixed it and my car no longer has the check engine light on and no longer shifts in "reduced engine power" mode. I can not recommend Martin at Davis Auto Electric enough and would give him 6 stars if I could.

BEWARE ‼ Called this person to install a kill switch with…read moreremote unlock for several of my vehicles. I figured I would give him a shot seeing he was very responsive as soon as I reached out. The day of the install he arrived on time and quickly began working on installing the device. He later told me the remote unlock feature will not work due to an issue with the device which I told him that was perfectly fine that I would follow up with the manufacturer. However upon inspecting his work, the entire device was left just laying on top of the fuse box on the drivers side floor board. Did not bother to tie wrap anything, did not properly bother to run the wires neatly, it's just a big sloppy mess. When I spoke with him I told him I own a fleet of 40+ vehicles and I was considering getting this device installed on all my vehicles so I was looking for someone that worked good and clean. Needless to say, I WILL NOT BE USING this company for the rest of my vehicles. If this is how he shows what he's all about than it's clear it's complete trash. Need more convincing? During my vehicle purchase, the sales representative, Nelson Pineda Rodriguez, in direct collusion with a third-party entity called Legend Services, ran an insurance scam under my name. ​I was illegally charged an unauthorized fee of $350.00 USD under the false pretense of a "down payment" for an auto insurance quote. Here are the facts: ​Document Forgery: They generated an insurance quote and stamped a signature in my name without my authorization, knowledge, or legal consent. This is blatant identity theft and forgery. ​Stolen Funds: My actual auto insurance provider later confirmed that they never received a single penny of this $350.00 payment. The money collected at Toyota of North Miami was completely pocketed and unaccounted for, forcing me to pay my full premium separately to my real insurer. ​Unlicensed Activity: To make matters worse, I discovered that the individual operating on behalf of Legend Services at the dealership does not even hold a valid, active insurance agent license in the State of Florida. ​Operating an insurance brokerage without a license, forging customer signatures, and taking money under false pretenses are serious criminal offenses. A formal Demand Letter has already been sent to management, and complaints are being filed directly with the Florida Department of Financial Services (DFS), the Office of the Florida Attorney General, and local law enforcement. ​Do not trust this dealership.
