I took my car here because the check engine light was on. Before I brought it in though I took it to auto-zone to read the code. It was a misfire needed spark plugs and engine coil easy enough right you would think so. I take it in they had to do a diagnostic and called me said the same thing so yes I went ahead and let them do it. This was a bad decision on my end I pick the car up drive it straight home everything seems fine for 4 days. Then boom check engine light back on I take it back they look at it said it was an old code cleared it. Very next day I go to start my car up it's making a loud clucking noise. I drive it immediately back to the shop the guy tells me it's coming from the hybrid side of things the battery and he knows nothing about hybrid cars I have to take it back to the dealership. WHY TRY TO EVEN FIX ON MY CAR TO BEGIN WITH IF YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT HYBRID CARS WHEN I FIRST BROUGHT IT IN. I'm completely disappointed dissatisfied and upset I paid $400 dollars to do engine coil and some spark plugs but no who knows what kind of damage this place has caused since they don't even know how to work on a hybrid car but worked on mines. I brought the car back the next day for the brakes. They explained all of the options about what was needed now and what could wait a while. They ordered the parts, and fixed it while I waited the same day. They did a great job. More was needed than I expected, but my car is pretty old (but in fantastic shape), so I was not surprised. Their labor prices may be a bit higher than some of the smaller shops in town, but not much different. I echo the other posters here about their customer service. It was professional and friendly. The waiting room is sufficiently comfy if you have to wait a while. Also, they have really fast free wi-fi; I was able to get some work done while I waited. I was promptly contacted by Yee Lor from Kocourek Chevrolet. First of all, I prefer to communicate via email due to work availability, and he fully respected that instead of calling. I appreciate that sooo much!!! I told him what I wanted and he sent me a suggestion. When I went to test drive, he was out with a different customer, but everyone else in the facility was more than happy to help until he got back. I had my 84 YO mother along with me (gotta make sure she can get in/out of my vehicle!) and they were so patient and accommodating for her! I ended up getting a 2020 Traverse and I absolutely love it! When I went to pick it up, they went through all the features/bells/whistles with me so I knew how things worked. Of course I had a long list of questions with me but they answered every single one. In addition, there were two (fairly minor but annoying) cosmetic issues with it and Yee spoke to his manager and got approval to have them fixed. Excellent service! I particularly appreciate that they didn't try to upsell me into something else. They respected my choices! VERY nice group of people over there! Definitely would go back again!
