went to get new tires which were installed. coming to pick up my car i clearly spot the hub cap is…read morehalf hanging off the back of one of the tires. if they even half payed attention they would have noticed that right away. secondly the hub caps are all put on unevenly where there is larger spaces and then smaller spaces all around it. another back tire has a crack down the hub cap where they clearly put it in wrong and damaged the hub cap all together. the person working came outside of the shop with a sledge hammer to try and fix the issue which is crazy. they need a rubber mallet to tap the cap back on properly which they didn't even have in the shop. they had to get one from inside the walmart to use to fix it. the workers had no remorse or any sympathy for how halfassed they had done the job. once i got in my car i saw a low tire pressure warning meaning they also didn't think to check the tire pressure or reset the sensor after installing new tires. don't come to this walmart to get tires done. they don't care about your car or their job. they will damage you vehicle and waste your time. pay alittle more and go to an actual tire shop.

I recently had a hybrid battery failure on my 2007 Prius. I deal exclusively with Bass Auto Care (on Capital Circle) and they handled the removal/reinstallation. I understand it's not for amateurs. Several months after that replacement, the rebuilt battery failed. Thankfully, it was warranteed - but regrettably, I was vacationing in NC with the car at the time - and that was definitely a setback since finding a service station that was associated with the warrantee agreement plan needed to be found. Bass Auto received the battery through Liles Auto (CarQuest, actually) and naturally, that battery was manufactured by yet another company. Jared from Liles Auto and Al from Bass Auto were instrumental in getting me back on the road relatively quickly from three states away. Well - that 2nd battery failed again. Now, it was all hands on deck - and Jared as well as Al were determined to make things right. After calling in a lot of favors, they got me back on the road with a perfect hybrid battery pack - and were able to get my expenses from my delays reimbursed as well. This all points to a commitment to their community, their customers, and their brand. I can't say enough about the ethics and attention to detail this operation had in getting me back on the road. I've learned that Jared Liles oversees a number of CarQuest stores in Tallahassee. If you're looking for indisputable ethics - you'll be satisfied here.

I took my car here while I was in the process of getting estimates from three different places…read more This is a small family owned business. I did not get a recording when I called asking me to press a number, I was not told I had to have an appointment to come get an estimate or that I needed to pay a deposit, and I was treated kindly. The price was lower than one of the other local places I called, so I decided to bring my car here. I paid for the parts in advance upon their suggestion for a faster repair, but it was not required. It did cut down on the waiting period. After providing an estimate on the repair, Jeff noticed a piece of plastic loose on the front bumper. He didn't know if I would be returning to get the repair or not, but he secured it temporarily for me without me asking. When I dropped it off for the repair, it was finished in less than a day. I was having the front bumper replaced and painted. When I went to pick it up, I was astonished and really touched. He had not only done an amazing job on the repair (not one noticeable piece out of place), but he had washed the car and polished my headlights. I was so full of gratitude. As long as they are in business, I will not go anywhere else. They made my 11 year car look new! The shop is very small, and when you pull up to the front (it's a little hard to find because it is not well marked and is off of a side street) it doesn't seem like a body shop. There is a little office door. You can just pull up on the sidewalk or on the street and walk right up, and you will be greeted. They don't seem to have much of a waiting area. You can walk to railroad square from there to kill time, but you would be better off having someone help you drop the car off. Please support this local business!

I went to Capital City Collision the week of September 1st (either the 2nd or 3rd) for my first…read morequote after an accident. Over the next few days, I also got quotes from Maaco, Advantage Auto Body, Competitive Auto Body, and Gerber. The prices ranged from $4,900 to $3,400. Capital City Collision gave me the lowest quote ($3,400) while also treating me with the most respect and understanding. I dropped off my car on Monday of that week. By Tuesday/Wednesday, they had already disassembled what was needed. They were upfront that there was some visible internal damage and that they wouldn't know the full picture until everything was apart. Unlike other shops that wanted to replace everything, they explained where repairs were possible (like reshaping my radiator rather than automatically replacing it). This saved me significant money. They were also flexible in ways other shops weren't: their aftermarket parts prices matched what I found myself, and they had no problem with me sourcing parts if needed. Several shops refused this outright or insisted on OEM only. Their labor was $55/hour and very fairly priced. I called them a week later for an update, they were still waiting on parts. The following week, they let me know the part they first ordered was broken, so they ordered a new one but they expected the car to be ready the next day. The only hiccup was with one headlight: the part was originally quoted at $600, but since it wasn't available at that price, they adjusted the labor so the difference was only $200 instead of the full increase. That kind of effort to keep the price as close to the original quote as possible is rare in this industry. On September 26th, they called me to say the car was basically ready but had two issues: (1) the PCS light was on (a sensor that helps with braking safety) and (2) the battery had died while they were test driving. Here's where I really appreciated their transparency, they could have easily claimed I needed a new PCS sensor (a very expensive part) or a new battery. Instead, they explained exactly what they were seeing, test-drove the car four times, and told me it might just be a calibration or placement issue. Within an hour, they found the sensor was simply out of place, and the battery worked fine after a jump. They even suggested I go to AutoZone (where I originally bought the battery) to test it, and AutoZone confirmed the battery was perfectly healthy. They could have charged me thousands more, but they didn't. That honesty means everything. The finished work looks fantastic. The hood was completely destroyed in the accident, and part of the side body wasn't great, but I chose not to replace that panel to save money. Because of that, the hood alignment is a little wider on one side, but they respected my choice and explained the tradeoff. It's not noticeable unless you're looking for it. The car looks great, drives great, and was finished efficiently. For comparison: at Advantage Auto Body, they insisted on sawing off my hood just to give me a quote, then left the saw inside my car until Maaco found it and removed it. Other shops were hundreds to over a thousand dollars more expensive without offering more transparency. As a young woman handling this process on my own, it was discouraging at times to see the price differences, but Capital City Collision never made me feel taken advantage of. Overall, they were professional, fair, and incredibly honest. I wish I could tip them on top of what I paid. I'll attach before/after photos to show the difference, but I can say with confidence: this is the shop I would recommend to anyone. Lessons learned: If you're in this situation, I recommend going to multiple shops for quotes and seeing where they overlap on what really needs to be replaced. After that, check aftermarket prices for those parts so you know whether the quote is fair. It takes extra time, but it gives you a solid baseline, and for me, Capital City Collision matched those fair prices while giving me honest, quality work. Pictures with information blacked out

Jesus rocked - he didn't have to keep the place open just for me, but he did. The technicians immediately went to work on my truck and I ended up buying two tires for the front. I will be back to replace the remaining two in the rear and get an alignment in a couple of weeks. The pricing was great, the service was fast, friendly, and excellent. I will definitely bring my vehicles there from now on. Many, many thanks to this place - they got me back home quickly and save me from expensive after-hours rates for the tire change.

After verifying that the battery purchased in February was not only defective but had a 2017 manufacture date stamp on it which meant it was old when I originally purchased it. Yikes! They suggested a direct swap from inventory but that battery was 1yr 2mo old too! I requested a full refund which they promptly honored. Customer service here on each occasion was excellent. On the downside, the motorcycle battery inventory needs to be replaced with freshly manufactured new one's.

However, I received a call back from Manny within 15 minutes and he was on site 20 minutes later. The others traveling with us were amazed by the quick response. Manny helped us move our Class A rig to a local campground for the night so we could run the AC. He went to the campground, found a spot, called us back, and waited on us so he could guide us to the spot. He came back at 7:30 the next morning to complete the repair. Since I had not personally laid eyes on the rig, it was important that I have a detailed inspection completed by a competent professional. Manny did a great job! He was communicative and personable from the start. He let me know when he arrived onsite (as did my salesman), we talked at midday on items identified and his overall impressions with the coach. At the end of the day (8+ hours later), we spoke again about the key issues identified and some minor items to be addressed. Before leaving the dealership, Manny provided my salesman with a punch list identifying all these key issues and minor items. This was followed up with an extensive written report that was complete with photos, all presented in a logical and easy to follow format. In addition to the report, Manny provides a link to allow you to view the nearly 400 photos and videos of his inspection and testing of systems. Moreover, Manny took the time to go thru the report with me page by page over the phone to ensure I fully understood its contents, and then answered all my follow-up questions (about an hour). I located Manny/Nomadic 365 Mobile RV Services through the NRVIA website. While I have not yet had the privilege of meeting him in person, I have added Nomadic 365 RV Services to my contacts and will not hesitate to reach out to him again for his inspection or technical services.
