Do not go to this location, or establishment in general. I went to this shop last week, on account that my tire kept deflating and I had previously bought tires/tire insurance from them. They refused to replace the tire without charging me, because it looked like I had been driving on it for an extended period of time and the side wall was potentially damaged.. it was at most a couple of days. Then the rest of my tires were almost completely bald and I asked them to replace those as well, on account that the warranty for them was guaranteed to last 55,000 miles.. mine didn't even make it to half that. They said the warranty wouldn't apply because I didn't rotate my tires as much as they wouldn't liked and that's how my tires wore down that much. Again, an excuse. The best "deal" they could do for me was $10 off of two tires, which is nothing when the tires are almost $100 a piece. If they had gone by their own policy, I should've had all tires down for free OR at least gotten the prorated rate which isn't $10 off two tires. I ended up having them put my donut o for me and going to another shop and getting a full set of tires. They will never have business from my family or I ever again. read more

I got a nail in my tire and went to Just Tires to get it fixed. They are short staffed and busy. They told me they would be unable to see my car that day. I went home and booked an appointment. When I got there at my appointment time they told me I'd still have to wait 2 hours for my car to be seen. That's unacceptable in my opinion. I'm not impressed read more

I was in dire need of a new tire this afternoon after a surprise flat. Bf did some investigation for me and spoke with the man at Just Tires. They discussed my needs and a price (one tire for about $100). They negotiated a new Goodyear tire and installation in less than an hour (it was Sunday and they were going to close at 5) for very close to that price. Bf came back about an hour later with coffee from Starbucks and goods from the Dollar Tree, both locations in walking distance from Just Tires. So as a frequent yelper I consulted it before deciding on coming here. I saw 6 reviews all 5 stars, a little on the low side as far as number of reviews but at least they were all positive so I decided to trust that and take my car here when I needed new tires put on, boy was I led astray! Before I get started on my experience here, they were understaffed (had been for the last 1 1/2 weeks I found out via one of the consultants later). Apparently they lost 4 associates at once between a couple being fired and a couple leaving when their "buddies" were fired. So I get it, you are understaffed and things may take a bit longer. But, my problem was not with it taking longer, it was with how everything was handled/communicated. If you know you are understaffed and have been for some time you should have a handle on how to manage the situation without neglecting your customers or misleading them. Here is how my day went: Overview: Estimate: 1 1/2 - 2 hours ($540) Actual: 6 1/2 hours ($678) was told I needed system flushes totaling ($1,260) Highlights: Being forgotten about on 2 different occasions, being misled on time frame on 3 different occasions, having to wait an additional 1/2 hour after I was told my car was ready. Long version: Called in the morning, setup an appointment that day for 1pm (any time I wanted was available according to the associate). Arrive 12:50pm , we go through tire selection and agree on price/time frame. The associate tells me they typically run 1 1/2 - 2 hours for changing/balancing/aligning etc but because they were currently understaffed that it may take closer to 2 hours and they would call me when it was ready. OK, no problem I said I'll go hang out at the Starbucks. Came back 2 hours later waited another 30 minutes then asked for an update on when my car would be ready. Keep in mind I had received no call or update at this point. I was told it would be another 2 - 2 1/2 hours after I had already waited 2 1/2 hours and was told it would take 1 1/2 - 2 hours. At this point I am slightly annoyed because I could have gone home or done something else (utilizing their shuttle service) had I known it was in fact going to take 5 hours to complete my car. The manager said a shuttle would take me home and pick me up when my car was ready but to just give him 15 minutes. So I waited...and waited...40 minutes go by during which I was told a couple times "just a minute". I finally asked if I was actually going to get a shuttle and the associate there was nice and said he would just drive me over as the manager had forgotten about me. So I get dropped off home (about 4:15pm now) and get some work done around the house. I get a call saying I had dirty brake fluid and it needed flushing, I agree to have it flushed after some special they had. I then get another call 20 minutes later from a different associate saying I need a plethora of other system flushes done which would total over $1,260 when my car had literally just been serviced 3 weeks ago (at the dealership - this is a car with 65k miles keep in mind with a flawless maintenance record) and all I went in there for was new tires (about $500 after $40 rebate). I reluctantly agree to the one time alignment done although I don't think my car actually needed it as the alignment seemed fine and was not pulling in any direction in the slightest. A couple hours go by and it is now 6:30pm with no call. They close at 7pm so I call in to make sure my car would be done before they close and that I was still getting picked up so I could get my car. The manager tells me he had forgotten that I needed a pickup (again). He apologizes and says an associate will call me soon to arrange the pickup when my car is ready. I get a call 10 minutes later from the associate and he comes to pick me up. We get to the shop and I'm thinking great I can finally pickup my car and be done with this...WRONG. We get to the shop just before 7pm and I see my car still up in the air. I sit and wait in the shop for another 30 minutes and FINALLY I get rung up. At this point I'm thinking, they have to give me a discount of SOMETHING...ANYTHING for this debacle of a day...nope $678 in full. Get the keys, go out to my car and... WAIT THERE'S MORE. The donut that was on my car because I got a flat the previous day (the original impetus for going to get my tires replaced in the first place) was put back into my trunk in its housing upside down and not fastened....This is a tire place and they can't even get that right? I had to then take everything back out of the trunk to get to the donut, flip it around, put it back in, FASTEN IT with the screw and put everything back into the trunk. I will not be returning here as it appears management did not care to have me as a customer. The only reason why this is 2 stars rating and not 1 is because the associate that drove me back and forth was very kind and apologetic. read more

I have been going here for years and have had no real problems. Prices are competitive. Service is usually pretty quick depending on who many other customers are there that day - it is first come/first serve, no appointments. There is a Starbucks right next door and they will call you on your cell if the wait is going to be longer than you care to sit in their waiting room. These guys are pretty honest too. They will recommend additional services they think you need unless you tell them not to however. They checked my battery once and told me it was about to die and should be replaced. I had not had any problems with the car starting so I said thanks but no thanks and declined. The battery died a few weeks later! So, my friend got a flat tire on a Sunday. We were hoping to get it fixed quickly, so we called the Cary location and asked if it could be done within the hour. The guy who answered said, 'Yes. We are not busy at all.' We show up only to find that not only did he fudge because there is a 2-3 hour wait, they don't have our tire size. Fine. Whatever. It took 30 minutes to get that cleared up, but OK. The guy decided to send us to this Durham location because our tire was in stock there. He called the Durham location to let them know we were coming and repeated THREE TIMES that we were driving a fleet car. We arrive and the Durham guy then says, 'I don't know how to help you.' Uhm...OK. What does that mean!? He says, 'It means, I don't know how a fleet car works.' Awesome. But pretty sure a fleet car works the same as a regular car. His response, 'I don't know.' Okkkk....how do we figure this out?? Him, 'I don't know.' Us, 'How long will this take?' Him, 'I don't know.' Us, 'But ... You were warned that this is a fleet car.' Him, 'I don't know...' Us, 'Can you find out if we can take the tire back to Cary?' Him, 'I don't know.' Us, 'Does Cary know how cars work?' Him, 'I don't know.' So, basically this guy has either a. Given up on life or b. Is too lazy to help us solve this extremely solvable problem. Unclear which he is, but at least I know that I know something more about life than at least one other person in this world. In fact, they continue to exceed expectations. Having worked as a service advisor for a dealership I know what a pain it can be and these guys handle everything with grace and smiles. It's a tire shop, yet they couldn't inflate a trailer tire. I'm still in shock. I am giving them 3 stars for them being nice, but I can't help but think they were not thinking and/or being lazy. They don't have a bead blaster? What do they do when people bring in trailer tires and the bead doesn't set properly?!? Most Excellent! Mr. Meyers and his staff are courteous and professional. No hidden charges or "gotchas". I was given a fair price for the tires I purchased. Additionally, I knew that I would need to do some suspension work on my truck, but I needed the tires to pass my upcoming inspection. I had planned to do the suspension work myself (tie-rods, inner & outer). However, after the great price and excellent service that I was offered, I asked the folks at Just Tires to also do the suspension work while they had my truck. Not a fan! I had a flat tire and took my car to Just Tires because my normal place was closed on Sundays. My car has a pressure sensor on the tire and, as expected, the pressure sensor light was on because I had a flat tire. So that's the beginning of the story. The man at the counter stated to me that the sensor was damaged DURING THE REPAIR OF THE TIRE AND TO CALL THE MANAGER AND HE WOULD TAKE CARE OF IT. So in calling the manager, I was completely blown off. Here's the fun part. I recently had the tire replaced. In replacing the tire, the technician where I normally go noticed that the sensor seemed to have been CRAZY GLUED back together, which he showed me. Ridiculous. I needed a new battery for my car. I made an appointment online the night before I was going to bring my car in. Unfortunately the online system didn't alert them to the fact that I needed a battery and only scheduled me for a battery check. The guys that work there were really great about it and didn't miss a beat. They ordered my battery from their supplier nearby, had it brought over and installed it without hesitation. I went across the way and had lunch and by the time I came back my car was ready! The price was reasonable and the employees were very easy to work with. Later found the same brand/size of tires for $100.00 cheaper withTire Discount. My experience with Just Tires on Hwy 55 was horrible, I will never go there again. I gave this place a 1 star rating but only because I couldn't rate with 1/4 of a star.
