I needed crowns done, and I was told my appointments would be over a MONTH from getting my root canals done. I switched dentists, and they never sent my x-rays over and stated the more recent ones were from 2023, which is simply not true AT ALL. Not sharing x-rays and patient data when asked is ILLEGAL. Dental assistants also do ALL the work. NEVER COME HERE!! read more

My tooth bonding broke within two weeks. I was told that I could come back in for the dentist to fix. I asked if there were additional fees and the receptionist who called me said there are no other fees, and that the visit would be covered by insurance. The dentist ended up spending double the amount of time working on the new bonding. I'm not sure why he didn't do that before. In addition I was told don't let anything come in contact with the tooth! In the end, the same receptionist says I had a $20 fee for consult! Imagine that! I asked her why she didn't say it over the phone. All she said was "I remember the conversation". F-ing ridiculous! Get more training because your lack of communication with patients is terrible! Your office will be reported to Blue Cross Blue Shield and to the board. read more

I would recommend this dentistry to anyone looking for a clean, professional, and welcoming facility. I had a great experience with every staff member I interacted with. I felt that they provided me with an experience that made me feel better educated for my future dental hygiene and informed about any potential issues that came up in my test results. My first interaction with Adda, Dr. Hydari's assistant, helped me to feel very comfortable during my appointment due to her attentiveness and sincere interest in our small talk and my dental issues. I am usually not one for small talk but I had a great conversation with her and it helped the facility feel more homey. My experience with Dr. Hydari was helpful because she was clear and concise while informing me about important dental hygiene she recommends I include in my practice. She even drew me a picture to help illustrate what she was explaining. I also felt that she listened attentively and communicated effectively when explaining my test results. My experience with the manager, Geralyn was the cherry on top because she was very helpful and friendly during my check out and helped expand my knowledge on a personal topic we discussed. I had to look for a new dentist after being at the same practice for over 44 years. The first reason I chose this practice was, Geralyn who answered the phone was the most welcoming person I had encountered in a long time. She thoroughly explain what my insurance company would pay towards my checkup, and told me about the practice. I had my first checkup today Dec.6, 2022, it was a great experience with Dr. Hydari. The "doctor" took her finger and pressed on a sore in my mouth directly and the look on her face was disturbing. She smiled when I jumped and cried out. Not kidding. She refused to give me antibiotics despite the huge infection she had seen on the X-rays. She smiled again when she said she would not give me antibiotics but she "could give me extra strength Motrin" for the pain. The endodontist was outraged. Absolutely dangerous I would have ended up in the hospital with sepsis. These are dangerous and life-threatening infections. Her license should be revoked. Do not go here. read more

I only wish I had read these reviews before starting with this practice two years ago when I got remarried. I have never posted a review but feel I need to let people know the hassles I have been dealing with for too long. At my very first appointment they talked me into a deep cleaning and indicated I needed to come back in three months. Shortly after this I changed insurance due to a job change. After the next appointment the insurance was denied because additional information was needed from the prior insurance carrier. I contacted the office and the new insurance carrier and was assured it would be taken care of. Two additional appointments and the outstanding balance is still showing on the invoice. Yesterday I open the mail to see that they have sent the outstanding balance to a collection agency. After they have been promising for a year and a half to take care of it themselves!!!! I would definitely not recommend Dr. Kabil Chunprapagh! He is a very poor dentist who does not hire a Dental Hygenest but cleans the teeth himself, about 20 minutes at most! His billing procedures are horrific! He over bills and refuses to consider the fact that his office help do not understand Dental Insurance, particularly Humana One HMO! When I complained about being charged over $1,000 per Cap instead of the discounted rate that he was supposed to charge, he stated he put in porcelain caps that cost more! The bridge he put in is ill fitting and now my bite is totally off, my bottom front teeth hitting the back of my front teeth! He also over charged me for that also! The list goes on and on..... Stay away from him..... I have written to the Dept. of Insurance and Humana about him. He is a rip off artist. I am over 80 and can ill afford what has happened to me with him. Sad. read more

I took my daughter for a visit to this dentist for a cracked tooth.. The front desk staff seemed very friendly.. Until I met the back office staff .. The dental assistant was rude and unwelcoming ., couldn't understand a dam thing she was saying.. When the doctor came in the room he told me I couldn't stay with my child while he examed her, my child being under the age of 18..age 12.. He debated me in why as a parent I couldn't stay with my child in the room . He was rude and very condescending .. Nasty disposition .. And a dam idiot.. This place is all about money!! I used to go there before I sold my house and moved as it was closer to me. The doctor will insist upon doing deep cleaning and periodontal maintenance and you will still keep paying $100+ as your insurance won't cover it. If you say you need regular cleaning, they just won't let you. Also, the crowns they put were wrongly put and I had to replace them recently as there were decay in the tooth as the crowns were not put properly. I would avoid this practice at any cost read more

Would give this -5 stars if possible. This place makes me understand why people hate going to the dentist. I had been going somewhere else for 27 years, but because of insurance I had to go to this place. Waited 30 minutes only to have the worst cleaning of my life. My mouth feels NO cleaner after leaving. I only left with bloody gums and a bad taste in my mouth. They had only "polished" my teeth with an old piece of equipment that broke halfway through. The dentist had absolutely no bedside manner and made me feel like my mouth was an absolute mess ... which it's not. You couldn't pay me to go back here. read more

I have been to this dentist now 3 times and did not feel a need to write a review until this appointment because it was very strange. I walked into the office to check in and within about 5 minutes was brought to the back and put in the chair to get ready for a routine cleaning. I mentioned to the dental assistant before she started that I had a slight cold 2 weeks ago but was feeling better. She immediately overreacted and said she could not do anything today and would consult with the doctor. I said ok and if she wanted to reschedule the appointment that was fine. She did not talk to the doctor and just brought be to the check in to reschedule my appt. I understand being cautious because people are sick this time of year but I was getting over a COLD that was actually bad 2 WEEKS ago. I am more annoyed that I had to drive the 20 minutes to the dental office for them to refuse service and reschedule the appt. I also have to add that I completely agree with a reviewer below when she mentioned "The front desk staff seemed very friendly.. Until I met the back office staff .. The dental assistant was rude and unwelcoming." The back office staff/dental assistant was the same person I had an issue with when mentioned in the situation above. I'm new to the area and needed a dentist. They are part of my DMO and scheduled an appointment with them. The day of my appointment I receive a call asking if I can come in earlier because they had an employee call out sick. I was unable to come in earlier but asked if they needed me to reschedule. They said no, they would still fit me in. So I went at my scheduled time to be greeted coldly. And note that the entire office is decorated poorly in a Hollywood movie theme. Once I'm taken back, the hygienist struggled to ask me basic questions about my oral health. I assume she was new. The cleaning was fine. Then the dentist came in to check my X-rays. He whips out his iPad to take some pics of a crown I have then proceeds to tell me I need to replace is for a very expensive ceramic version. It ended up feeling so pushy that I just can't make this my family dentist. I'll be looking for a new dentist who values a loyal patient base and I can trust their recommendations. read more

I recently had my first and last appointment with this place. My appointment was at 9:30am, I got there at 9am. Filled out the paperwork that was supposed to be sent to me via email, but never was. Get taken back around 9:30am, put in the chair for a series of X-rays since I was a new patient. The hygienist kept stabbing the insides of my mouth with the edges of the films. She barely spoke English, I could hardly understand her. Waited another 30 mins for her to come back with the doctor. I've never had the doctor participate in a cleaning before until afterwards. They barely cleaned my teeth, no fluoride was used, and left my mouth extremely sore. He pointed out a couple cavities and said I needed a mouth guard since I grind my teeth. Grand total of over $800! Are you kidding me?! I will never return to this place. I should've checked yelp or asked around before I scheduled the appointment. Looks like I'm not the only one with a terrible experience. What a joke. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. My appointment was at 4:30 and when I get here they claimed it was at 5. Which is absolutely false because I had a message from them left on my phone as a reminder stating that my appointment was at 4:30. Fine, I wait til 5. I get into the exam room and it is now 6:30 and I have not seen the dentist yet. Absolute trash. They are overbooking like crazy and they do not even check in on the patients while they are waiting. I haven't went there yet. We have a new dental plan with my husband and have Aetna DMO and this is the best dentist within 20 miles that accepts it. I'm not expecting too much because when I spoke with the receptionist this week she sound like a real pain in the a**, like she'd rather be somewhere else, not professional or personal one bit. We can't make an appt until after February once they receive the "list" from Aetna, so I'll definitely post my review. read more

Best dentist visit ever. Dr. Ojjeh was absolutely Awesome. After my initial visit, he was able to get me in the next day for a crown. I'm super afraid of needles and having work done period. Dr. Ojjeh was able to calm my fears and I had a completely painless procedure. He checked on me frequently throughout the procedure and called me later that evening to make sure I was ok. He explains everything thoroughly and provides a treatment plan and pictures via email. read more

We've been going to Dr. Ojjeh at Naperbrook Dentistry for over 10 years. Dr. Ojjeh is very professional and kind. He is always very concerned with his patients feeling any pain and does all he can to keep his patients comfortable during any procedure. He always checks in with his patients after a procedure and has given his personal cell phone out in case there are any problems/questions. . He is very good with crowns and veneers and matching the color of your teeth. I would definitely recommend Dr. Ojjeh for all your dental needs! read more

I had to go to this dentist office when I was in the middle of switching insurances. First they could not keep their files straight. I had given them an updated number and email address and the receptionist wrote it down wrong. I show up to an appointment that I had to miss some work for to be told the Dentist had an emergency and they had been trying to get a hold of me. Pretty much making it seem like this was my mistake. Had to get a crown done. The dentist put in a temporary and it fell out within a day. I called the office and they didnt bother to tell me to come back in to get it put back in. So needless to say I was walking around with no molar tooth in the back. I just recently went to Valley View Dental to get a teeth cleaning with my new insurance and I am told the crown that was put on was placed incorrectly and I will need it redone. I will NEVER go back to this dentist ever. If you can avoid this office...avoid it. read more

I am sorry for the other patients who shared their experiences. I have not felt that way and I have been a patient for maybe around 15-20 years. Started because our original insurance was a DMO and the other local dentists taking our insurance were awful and not thorough at all. When I found Dr. Ojjeh I felt like this was a practice that would take good care of my teeth. But now I have a better dental plan and can go anywhere...I still choose to come to Naperbrook. Why? Dr. Ojjeh is a caring and conscientious dentist. I had issues with a crown for some time and he worked with me time and time again to make sure it was perfect. And never additional charges for that. Success! He is pleasant and gentle. There have been many hygienists, some I have liked more than others, but all in all they do a very complete and comprehensive job. I have never felt pressured to have unnecessary work done. Never. The office staff is also helpful and pleasant. In particular, Vicky, who is more of a billing/insurance staff member is great! I have worked with her on several occasions to help me through insurance issues. She is prompt and a problem solver who has very good follow up with any patient concerns. read more

The office staff is not the warmest, but Dr. Chunprapaph himself did a nice job on my 9 year old. HOWEVER - their billing department is attempting to scam customers and insurance companies. I was told I did not have coverage for the procedure needed when sitting in the office, so I paid over $300 out of my own pocket. Contacted insurance the following day to discover I have FULL COVERAGE for the procedure! Contacted office to share info & was told I was wrong. Mike Paxton in the billing department refused to file a claim with my insurance company while speaking directly to them on the phone while I was also on hold with insurance company. Insurance company returned to me & informed me that they were taking this for review because of these poor practices. I am awaiting a check of my refund from dental office, but this required about 6 hours of my time making calls and FIGHTING with Mike in their billing department. Don't you think if the insurance company is TELLING the office there is coverage they would believe them? DO NOT go here. They are lacking moral standards! I am only giving them a 1 star rating for the dentist himself plus I have to rate to leave a review. read more
