Walking into this place I was kind of skeptical because I am not a Nissan girl, but looky here! I saw a shiny new Nissan pathfinder and I was in love... Our salesman Micheal Williams took such great care of us.. he has knowledge of all the different types of cars on the lot and when you ask him a specific question because I already knew the answer to it he can tell and actually give you the right answer, meaning he knows his product. Micheal's customer service is superb and he is so personal with his customers. Your not just a sale or a file to him.. but and actual person that he sincerely cares about. He even surprised us with a phone call the next day to make sure eventually was ok with the vehicle. The guy is awesome.. If you are contemplating getting a vehicle from here, I'd think twice. I purchased a preowned Kia. At around 10,000 miles, I started to get codes that come and go. I was advised by Napleton Nissan to take it to a certified Kia dealership. I was then told by the Kia dealership that at the time of purchase, the incorrect battery style had been placed in the car per the manufacturer instructions and was told to practically figure it cause at the time of sale no codes were thrown. I told them I had to drive two hours and didn't want to waste my time and they wasted my time. They offered a "minimum" of $15,700 and then I spent an hour at the dealership and they gave me an offer of $15K. read more

To be fair, Kristin is a good sales representative. My issue is the after buying service. I bought I used car, and there was a minor problem with the check engine light sign. All they talked about is that paper I signed that they are not responsible for the car after I leave the the showroom. I would say, don't trust their costumer promises sign that they put in the store. I received nothing from that sign. Unless that how they treat their guests at home?! Every time we called for appointment of service he would give us a so called "exact" quote but repeatedly would overcharge my children for parts and services. The people who run this joint have a terrible attitude. I came here a few days ago to talk to somebody about a car that I was looking at and the dude sitting behind the counter was so rude and unprofessional that I ended up leaving a few minutes later without buying the car. It was a terrible experience and I will never be back here. People who are in the business of selling cars are expected to be customer friendly and have good customer service skills. Purchased a Jeep in the sale they gave us new leather seats since the ones were damaged. Now my heated seats are not working took it to get looked at since we have the extended warranty to find out it was from whoever did the leather. Went to the dealer to get reimbursed and get this fixed and they told us it's not their problem. The sunroof was not working the day we bought it again took it to a Jeep dealership and paid to fix it. Went back and management was rude and said no this problem we should have brought it back. But earlier was told to take the truck to a Jeep dealer because they can't work on it . I have been avidly shopping for a very particular type of SUV. My requirements were 3rd row seating, leather seats, moon/sun roof and AWD. I drove 1.5hrs with a baby and a 4yo to see Durango I was told I qualified for Asher doing my loan app. I tried to get an appraisal on my trade in, a 2011 Ford Escape. I was told by the owner that I would have to come in to have it appraised appropriately so I did. After his appraisal he didn't even do my the decency of telling me our the appraisal, instead he told the car sales lady I was working with that my check engine light was on, my moon roof wasn't working, and it would need a lot of work. NONE of that was true. I walked right out and showed them and no one had anything to say. Additionally I came to find out the Durango did NOT have leather seats as I was told on the phone and I also was NOT approved for the selling price of the Durango. They then did not give me a concrete range of financing to work within as well as tried to get me into a Rogue which clearly went against what I was after. read more

I've purchased cars here, which was a pleasant experience with Jordan. I also use the Service Department here for both our cars, and just would not go anywhere else. Had a power seat problem with my Murano, went in yesterday to drop off for a next day appointment. They fixed the problem immediately!!! I didn't even have to leave my car or use the appointment. I inquired about a 2016 Mazda CX 5 that Napelton Nissan in Schererville, IN had on their lot. I received a text from Anyssa on July 23rd and the weekend afterwards to come and look at the car. I wasn't able to make the 45 min drive until today ( August 8th). I once again received a text from her and I said I would come and look at it. My son and I made the trip, and took the car for a lengthy test drive. Our "salesman" Bryan Scott, came out and commented we had taken a lengthy test drive, I said yes as I was looking the vehicle over. I mentioned the brakes were bad (the car shook every time I hit the brakes) and he said it was a quick fix. I then said I wanted a mechanic to look at it and that I worked for a towing company and a mechanic and wanted it put on the rack for damage since it had minor front and rear damage via the Carfax report. He IMMEDIATELY said, the car has been sold through one of their other dealerships. WTH?? All of a sudden it had been sold?? I told him it would have been nice to have been told that before I made the trip over there and took it out for a test drive. He said he didn't know. REALLY???!!! WHAT A LOAD OF HORSE SHIT!! Can you say unprofessional?! A TOTAL waste of my time!! I will never deal with these idiots again. ( I'd never buy Nissan! ) Stay away and don't give them 1 minute of your valuable time! read more

If I could, I would give the service department at Napelton Nissan less than zero if it were possible on this application. Starting off with the worst Service Department Manager I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with called Frank. This Frank guy is completely unqualified for the position he holds and so are all the technicians employed at Napelton Nissan, most of which are kids probably right out of Ivy Techs automotive tech program with no real Nissan or Infiniti training. I guess I have been spoiled because I have only had experience with West Coast Dealerships in California and Arizona. In CA or AZ dealerships are Mega-Dealerships where the sales volume in one weekend far exceeds what Napelton Nissan does in a month and the size of service departments in the CA or AZ dealerships alone are the size of the entire Napelton dealership. So I guess being an incompetent service manager is probably possible at a podunk Nissan dealership like Napelton Nissan. My point is don't just drive away from this dealership, speed away from it, if you ever need service. My story is to follow. read more

Purchased my 2021 Murano from a dealership up north in Illinois and needed an oil change. I always take my care to a dealership so I know they use the actual parts and oil recommended for my vehicle and Napleton Nissan was the closest to me. I would first like to point out that I am the typical "Karen" and will complain if I don't receive the service I pay for. In the past, my expectations of a service department were not that high, as the people that normally work in this type of environment are not that professional or courteous acting, but when I went in for my oil change, a gentleman by the name of Gary Grant took care of me and have to say that I have NEVER received such professionalism, or exemplary customer service before at ANY dealership I have gone to in the past. He wasn't pushy or trying to upsell me on things I didn't necessarily need, but did educate me on what to look for and be aware of should something occur. This dealership absolutely won me over and will not only be getting my service business, but also will be receiving my business when I purchase my next vehicle. I purchased a 2013 Jeep Wrangler from them 6 months ago. I was told it was in great shape as the salesperson's brother was the previous owner. Like a moron, I trusted the sales person. I'm not a contract reader and I get anxiety doing paperwork so I just sign where I'm told... fast forward 6 months... I have had the Jeep in my possession for about 16 total days. It was back at the dealership for repairs 1 week later. For 6 months it's bounced from Napelton to Bosak trying to fix this piece of crap. John Anderson, who is a good guy, is the manager there. He admitted his service department dropped the ball. Yet, as of today, over 6 months later, with a vehicle that won't pass emissions, is not safe to drive over 40mph, and is unable to be plated... they are no longer willing to do anything to the vehicle and I was advised to come get it. How??? Tow it home??? It has no license plates and isn't safe. The service tech there explained the rims and tires are too big for the Jeep abs need to be replaced and "that should fix" the safety issue. So I'm expected to go drop another $2000 on rims and tires because "that should fix" the safety issue... GTFOH!!! Oh and further more... it's a 2011... so when I was quoted the price, KBBd a 2013 like I was told it was... so I overpaid for this problem to boot. They did do some minor repair to the vehicle, but I've already paid $3500 over KBB, $4300 out of pocket in repair work; $3000+ in warrantied work; and the vehicle is still unable to be driven legally or safely and they're telling me they're done with helping me, come get it.
