Honestly a super solid spot for wings. Very nice staff and owners! The hot honey wings were definitely hot, but tasty. I liked the garlic parm too! I also liked the cajun fries... smashed 'em! We did an online order for pick up and it took about 45 minutes to be ready. I'm happy we found somewhere with good wings in the area, we will be back! Definitely want to try their wraps and pizza next. A lot of people were getting those! read more

I ordered the bbq chicken pizza with no bacon and it was delicious! My second time ordering it. The wings were very crispy even though some had the sauce on them. I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was good and will definitely try more foods next time. read more

While I can't vouch for their location in New Orleans East, the location on Broad has the best grilled wings! The food did take a while to be served even though we called ahead, but it was extremely fresh and delicious. The chicken reminded me of an Indian Tandoori Chicken and the sauce it is served with actually had a yogurt taste as opposed to ranch. read more

This was possibly the worst pizza I've ever had. The dough was like pita bread and very doughy. It was not a pizza dough. There was very little sauce and cheese and since we ordered a small pepperoni there were six little pieces of pepperoni, one in each slice. We asked for a longer bake so it would be crispy but all they did was burn the edges and call it crispy. There were quite a few people in the restaurant so maybe I just got a bad pizza but I would not go back. read more

Always a pleasure visiting napoli's especially because they always have upbeat music playing They are practically the only non chain pizza joint in New Orleans East. I'm sure they are flooding with orders. They are always busy and their website makes ordering online a breeze. Service is always awesome and food is always tasty. Today we ordered a variety of wings -- boneless hot and bone in sweet chili. With our wings we ordered cheese fries and onion rings. When arriving they told me they were out of onion rings today and I subbed for additional fries which was no biggie at all but the kind woman in charge gave us tons of extra fries to make up for it. Very sweet people who run this place and they truly care about customer service here. read more

I am from NELA and was staying in town for the night. Gave this place a shot, best food call I've made in a while. The Sweet Chili wings were some of the best I've had, and the homemade crust on the double Pepperoni w/jalep was so good!. The owner was incredibly sweet and helpful, loved her spirit! I would drive an hour to eat here. Hope I get the chance to come again! Awesome place! read more

Came here Super Bowl Sunday! They were busy with orders but was greeted quickly and with a great smile and attitude. So hard to find that here in New Orleans. We got a large pizza 3 toppings. The crust is very different. It's more pillow like then the traditional NY style. Good sauce and value. Definitely try this place well worth it!! read more

I love this place. I go here all the time. I took off a star because one time I ordered 15 piece wings. I wanted 5 hot, 5 lemon pepper, & 5 sweet chili glaze. They gave me all the wings I was suppose to have except no lemon pepper flavor wings. I didn't make a big fuss because I still got all my wings they were just hot and the chili glaze. Overall, the food is always hot & fresh. I wish they can offer more combo deals though. read more

We were craving for pizza and wings so we stopped by Napoli since we were in the area. Before having our meal, we wanted to wash our hands but they had no handsoap. So I asked for handsoap but the cashier said sorry they had none. The pizza was good but wings were dry. After we ate, I noticed that there was a roach on the wall beside me. I wanted to puke. Very Good Pizza! I'm reviewing the new location, Broad and Bienville. (It doesn't exist yet on Yelp) I would really rate it at 4.6 stars, but those comments are mostly about personal preferences. I'll start bottom up. Crust - really good. Good flavor, texture, etc. I might prefer it a little crispier, and maybe they would do it if I asked. Sauce - it's a little sweet for me, but my wife loves it. Toppings- this (IMHO) is where they could step it up a little. To be fair, I don't like vegetables on my pizza. Maybe those are really good. The meat toppings are good, but don't wow me. Service - always great, no complaints. read more

The food here is very good & the staff is professional. However, I was not pleased today. I always order the chicken shawarma wrap with grilled onions, the price is 12.07. I called and ordered it today and the girl who answered told me 12.07. HOWEVER, when I went to pay she charged me 13.17. I was confused. I asked why? She said they changed it today. However when I looked at the menu it was still 10.99 and she said 12.07. I paid her the money because I'm not ignorant and I respect prices. BUT I did not like the change especially because Im a normal customer. When I opened the box I was expecting a bigger portion size of food since the price went up. HOWEVER, IT SEEMED LIKE LESS FOOD. WOW! If you are a fan of Alfredo sauce, PLEASE try their alfredo cheese pizza. You definitely will not regret it. For the price, I expected so-so... But that pizza really blew me away when I took my first bite! I can't believe how incredibly cheap these guys are as well...! My husband ordered Buffalo wings, and said he had no complaints. They were pretty big in size as well. Note on delivery: We picked up our order, because they apparently do not deliver to our hotel. They have fresh hot pizza and great Mediterranean selections, of note. I went for a slice of pizza, as well as onion rings, and fries to hold me over from the long wait at the OMV next door. The lady who took my order was professional, and was eager to please. She apologetically acknowledged the pizza would be coming out soon (after a 15-min wait) when I arrived and it hadn't appeared to be ready. It arrived right and I was standing and she asked if I would like a bag (to which I said no, because I didn't need it and environmental waste is already too much... let's do what we can to save our planet) *steps off soapbox* The interior of the restaurant was small, yet spacious and clean. The menu came across as garbled linguistically with its offerings of both Medi and Italian food,but yet still readable-i was able to suss it out after much staring at it ...but the pizza! The pizza was really good. I could tell the ingredients used to prepare the pizza were fresh and although the pizza itself trended on the blander side, for me, I don't mind it that way as it's nothing that a sprinkle of dried herbs and pepper couldn't remedy. Onion rings were standard fare. I wish they delivered but I doubt they'll swing by Mid-City, lol. If I am ever that way again I'll be sure to order their Mediterranean offerings - and grab a slice as well... and I'll let you know how THAT went in my next review. read more

We ran into this pizza shop on accident. We are glad we did! The owners were very nice and patient with us, we weren't familiar with the menu at all, and there were 6 of us trying to come to an agreement on what to eat. When we finally agreed on pizza wings and cheesy bread , we waited 20 min and the food came out fresh and delicious!! Probably too 3 best teriyaki wings I've ever had! & the prices are very fair. We will be back here for sure. read more

As a child growing up in New Orleans I remember by grandfather from New Iberia coming to visit frequently. I have a lot of fond memories from his visits, but one of the things I remember is applicable to this review. Whenever he would arrive he would have several gifts for the family. I'm not talking about traditional gifts either. He would bring several packs of boudin and hogs head cheese from a local New Iberia shop. That must have had a lasting effect, because since then, I am on a never ending quest for good boudin and head cheese. I was on such a quest just the other day when I noticed Boudreaux's. The moment I walked in, I knew I was in the right place. There were coolers filled with stuffed chickens, roasts, pork loins, gumbo, étouffée and all other sorts of Cajun delights. In the fresh counter is where I focused my attention and will elaborate on a few items. Boudin - fresh, homemade and with the perfect combination of meat and rice. It had a slight kick, but not to overwhelming. Stuffed chicken thighs - stuffed with jalapeño cream cheese and wrapped in bacon. $375 for around 30 minutes covered and 20 uncovered. Oh my goodness gracious was this delicious. Even if you don't normally like thighs, I strongly recommend this item. Smoked boudin - I don't remember smoked boudin when I was growing up, but what a great idea. Boudreaux's version was perfect. Smoked sausage with pepper jack cheese - whatever you do, but some of this sausage. The sausage is made and smoked in house and this is, without a doubt, the best smoked sausage I've ever had. I don't know how it hod hold up in gumbo or some other dish, but it is amazing on its own. The people working behind the counter were friendly and very helpful. If you're like me and miss the Cajun butcher shops of Acadiana, I recommend you take a trip to Boudreaux's.

While I'm not crazy about Bourgeois Meat Market's andouille sausage, which I have found to be a bit…read moretough, I enjoy their regular smoked sausage, and I'm a huge fan of their Cajun Smoked Tasso. For the uninitiated: Tasso is fast-cured, seasoned, and smoked pork shoulder. It's used in stews and simmered foods, softening as it cooks, adding a delicious, unique flavor and bite that's typical of many Southern Louisiana (read: Cajun) dishes. Tasso's difficult to describe, but you'll know it when you taste it. I just received four 1-lb. packages of tasso, shipped from Bourgeois' smokehouse in Gray, LA via FedEx 2Day. The order arrived in good shape, and though the ice packs surrounding the meats had melted, the tasso was smoked (and so, fully-cooked) and it was vacuum-sealed. It went straight into my freezer, and it'll be fine. The cost to ship from Lafourche Parish to San Diego doubled the price of the product, from $7.24/lb to around $15, but I pay that much (or more) for quality steaks and seafood, here at home, and it was my choice to spend top-dollar for meat that I know, from experience, will make my gumbo, red beans, etc. taste better than I could otherwise make them. Kudos to the folks at Bourgeois Meat Market for offering a high-quality product, and for handling the purchase and shipping in a professional manner. I like visiting their shop when I'm in the area, but I LOVE that they don't make me get on a plane to eat what they're cookin'!

The meat counter is impressive - they have just about any part of any animal in there, nicely pickled pink. A lot of the selection is from the swine, and appears to be done in house. The butchers are knowledgable, and know their way around a pickled piece o' meat. The first time I swung in this joint, I picked up a twenty pound case of the $23.99 Spare Ribs. They were about exactly what one would expect from spare ribs that cost a buck a pound. They were very lean, very bony, very frozen, and very imported from Denmark. Will enough love and a good pitmaster, they were serviceable. Since then, I discovered the glories of the meat markets at Restaurant Depot and Costco - but they hardly carry any pickled meats. The rest of the store is just a small grocery store, with nothing at all exciting going on, especially with Casey Jones about 300 yards across the street. If you're headed to Sal's Super Meat Market, you're headed their for the largest selection of Pickled Meat that I know of in the Greater New Orleans Area. Four stars for the Pickled Meat niche.

Mike's in Marrero is permanently closed. I purchased smoked neck bones for my red beans and oh my, my, they were absolutely delicious! They were roughly $2.49lb and I got plenty. I would say they're pretty decent for your smoked meats but....I'm not a fan of the inside looking and smelling dingy and all.

Longer: So I was a little hesitant to go to CDM, because it's such the tourist stop and the first joint anyone mentions when they say "beignet". But this was our first stop, morning of first day. The beignets are piled in sugar, they are warm, crunchy and crisp on the outside and soft, warm and delicate inside. I gotta tell you, the texture is just a little different than Cafe Beignet, the Four Seasons, and even the other CDM in the park we tried a few days later. To me, this is the best one. Now, as a coffee person, their black coffee is strong, rich, and a good compliment to the real show - the beignets. But I did not pick up on nearly as much chicory in their chicory coffee as, say, Cafe Beignet's version. Also, I have to let you know the other location in the big park serves a non-chicory version (in addition to NOLA chicory) that is head and shoulders the best coffee we had in New Orleans. But this is the joint. As a bonus, it's colorful, has consistently great street musicians, and has lots of walkable sites as you struggle to waddle around after too many beignets. Gotta go!

Stumbled on this gem while on vacation. We were tired and didn't want to stray far from the hotel for dinner. Its a small family owned place. Food was delicious!!!!! We truly couldn't have asked for any better. Owners were darlings and catered to our every need before we knew we needed anything. Flavor palette on a whole different level!! The 3rd visit involved 3 people and Pizza Bites, Seafood Bites, Savory Cannoli w/pasta salad, Spaghetti & Meatballs w/2 extra meatballs and a 14" Hawaiian Pizza. There were some to go boxes and to go drinks with this meal too. I was pleasantly surprised with the Hawaiian pizza, not something I would ordinarily try, the Pizza Bites were amazing, and I don't eat shrimp but am told the Seafood Bites were very good.
