Not impressed at all. We stopped by for lunch, and the service was slow, unprofessional, and unenthusiastic. It wasn't crowded, so I don't know what the problem was. The waiter forgot our drinks, and he had to inform us that they were out of fries to go with our friend's chicken parm sandwich. This info came 20 minutes after we ordered. My wife's pizza arrived with black olives, even though she ordered green. Fortunately she likes black too. The chicken soup was... chicken soup. Mine had lots of chicken, and my friend's had very little. At least it was hot. The rest of the food was generally good. My calzone was unusually soft, which was a nice surprise, The sausage in it was pretty bland, but the cheeses were great. My wife's pizza was pretty darn good (I tried a slice), but she agreed the sausage was dull. Our friend said her sandwich was good, but part of the bun was burned. Overall, if the service was better, this place would be worth another visit. The food was better than average, but not exceptional, and not good enough to make up for the service. read more

Nothing great. Space is strange. The bar is huge but seating is limited. Oh and there wasn't anyone at the bar either. Food was fine but honestly I felt what I had I could have made at home. Bread was good from I recall. Dessert was the best part of the entire meal. Italian White cream cake. Very tasty. I won't hurry back there. read more

My wife and I were excited to try here as we enjoy Italian. However, our experience wasn't as great as we'd hope. The food was good, but nothing special. Prices were decent for what you got. My pasta dish was $17 but I felt the amount and taste wasn't up to par. Pizza was again, average. Crust tasted frozen, toppings were good. We decided to skip the line and sit and eat at the bar which wasn't a good idea. Bartender was super busy and only one of them so getting his attention was difficult at times. He got frustrated a few times at other staff and cursed under his breath but was loud enough we could easily hear. If you're wanting to try this place I'd say it's worth a try. This particular place is located in the old Hickory Road BBQ joint that closed a while back. So, with that said, much of the decor is left over from that venture. Of course, its rare that I go to a place based on decor alone so I can look past that since they tried to make the best of it. I got in right away and seated. Host was very pleasant. However, I waited for a good 10 minutes before the server came over. Given the state of everything currently, I can overlook the wait. The server was very nice as well, but just seemed frenetic for some reason...racing around but never seeming to really accomplish anything other than adding to her step count. Because of the wait for her to come over, I had plenty of time to look over the menu so I ordered both my drink and meal. Shortly after getting my drink, my meal arrived and I was surprised to see how big the portions were. Very generous indeed. Overall, the meal was very good and I enjoyed the flavor of everything. I am knocking off one star (more like a half) simply for the fact that my server never did refill my drink and only came back over to drop off the check. I was hoping with all the racing around she was doing, she would have stopped by and asked. I will more than likely come back...hopefully I will get my drink refilled next time. :-) read more

We weren't planning on dining in at first but Napoli's is the only place that have dine in around the area. We ordered seafood Alfredo and Napoli's special. It's sooo good definitely worth the money. We went to Napoli's this evening because we enjoy Italian food, we had a $5 coupon from a grocery store receipt, and we had heard it was good. We were pleasantly surprised and we will return. The space is clean, tidy, nicely lit and has white tablecloths. We ordered one spaghetti "your way" and chose the butter, garlic, basil sauce and chicken. The other entree was the Italian sausage with mushrooms, onions and peppers over pasta. The owner, Bes, brought our dishes to the table which was a nice touch. Both dishes were tasty. We swapped and then swapped back, each of us happy with our choice. I had asked the waiter, Alex, if the sausage was homemade and he said yes. It was lean, tender and tasty. The dish was not too salty, either. The butter, garlic, basil dish was also very good. You could tell it was real butter, but the pasta was not swimming in a puddle of oil. We both chose salad and found the home made dressings very good, Italian and blue cheese. Since we skipped an app we treated ourselves to a shared dessert. Of the six choices, we selected the lemoncella marscapone cake and congratulated ourselves on the pick. Delicious. The wine menu is modest with several choices in each category. Wine by the glass was $6 with a generous pour. We picked the Chianti and it was fine. Our server was attentive, the timing of the food was great. Considering the Italian food options in Lincoln, we felt excited about Napoli and will return. Give it a try! read more

We ordered on line and they assured us that everything was in the bag. We get home and they did not give me a pizza that we ordered. We called them back and it was sitting on the shelf. We told them just to credit back the amount to our card because we were not close to their restaurant. They told my spouse that they would credit the card. We waited over two weeks and then had to call back asking about the credit. They informed us that the original person would call. Which did happen, but then when we received the credit, it was not the correct amount, much lower! Will not ever go back - no service - no more visits! Holy cannoli! This is by far one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to. Stopped in from out of town and was blown away. Napoli's in Lincoln is the best Italian food we have had since moving here from Boston. We had a Caesar salad on a chilled plate with fresh grated cheese which was delicious. Then my wife had eggplant Parm and I had Lobster Ravioli, both of which were excellent. In between courses we had excellent rolls with very tasty dipping oil. We also enjoyed their delicious and generous house wines. This place also worked on setting the atmosphere with nice linen tablecloths and light Italian music in the background. It is a definite "keeper" in our opinion for anyone interested in a delicious Italian meal in a place with decent atmosphere. read more

Food was underwhelming and painfully obviously not fresh and quite possibly microwaved. The atmosphere is lovely and our waiter was attentive but the food was awful. I ordered a pasta sampler and it came in a bowl that looked like tomato soup. I was incredibly disappointed with Napoli's. Due to COVID, ours was carry out and it was not good. I had the pasta combo, which was essentially a foil pan filled with sauce. It tasted fine but certainly forgettable. The salad was warm and the dressing was warmer (she actually threw hers away). The rest of the night we both felt sick. This is a mixed review. First: BEWARE-their coupons are very deceiving. Though the coupon does NOT state it, the waitress said it could only be used after 5:00 PM and only one is allowed per table. I did not push it with management because I was with a large group; but this is very much false advertisement. They need to correct their coupons information. I had made reservations for 11 but 2 more people unexpectedly arrived and the waitress refused to accommodate them by adding a small table. After several requests, she did finally add a small table and it was a satisfactorily ending. The salad was a big disappointment, only bib lettuce and one tiny tomato.
