The food and drinks was good. We had the calamari which came with four different sauces which I like. The service was great. They had a guy singing. He was excellent ambience was nice. Very comfortable.

We love Nappers! They have a great set up inside and service is always quick and friendly. We like to sit at their bar and watch the games there. Menu is extensive but we enjoy the pretzel and wings!

Memorial Day and while the venue didn't have the normal crowd spilling out - nice bar crowd and timely service. All tables sporting flags and showing some national pride. Angry Orchard & Magners helped whet our whistles. My boo had a plain old hamburger... not my cup of tea but... enjoyed the sunshine, dining Al Fresco and relishing in the day. Street parking with meters, patio in the back as well as outdoor seating in the front for perfect people watching seats. Priced accordingly- plenty of tap options and full bar. Upstairs can be used for private parties and large groups.

I've been here quite a few times but Sunday, December 6th was terrible, not for the food or the drinks because I had a pulled pork sandwich which was good and the beers on tap were fresh. The BIG issue was this establishment allowed people to walk away from their table without their masks on, they were over serving patrons who were visibly wasted, and two had fallen on the floor. One of these patrons continued to invade me and my fiancé personal space without a mask, was not 6 feet away and we had to continuously tell him that he needed to put a mask on and to not get close to us. This made us feel unsafe given the current climate and while everybody else was doing the right thing. At the same time, the same guy was leaning on the bar so hard because he could hardly stand that he was pushing the clear bar divider into another patron. These particular patrons who were next to us were upset and wound up leaving because this man kept leaning and pushing the divider into them. Just the fact that these individuals were still served and not asked to leave was beyond ridiculous. I liked it here before but I don't think I'll return when they allow things like this to go on during a pandemic.

Our dessert. Peanut butter explosion and ice cream.

(I just hope that you give a break to places that suck right now) Covid stuff (for those who care): the bar has dividers, the staff all have on masks and social distancing is the norm. I've been here with friends where we all shared apps, awesome bar stuff we know and love. So you won't go wrong here. I have had the cheesesteak twice. It's not the run of the mill version. This has real meat, peppers, onions, and the perfect amount of cheese. It's not a soggy mess. It's pretty damn amazing. And disclaimer. I spend about 1/3 the year in PA where they claim to be the kings of the cheesesteak. They obviously haven't been here yet. The service. Always awesome. The bartenders are very attentive and make sure you are enjoying your time there. They also have a daily happy hour, I think it was 15% off your bill if you go during the day time. Remember to tip according to your original bill. That 15% isn't a discount on the server. Bookmark this place and really enjoy solid local place.

Since discovering TJ's, I've attended multiple events such as their Oktoberfests, their Pumpkinfests, their New Years Eve party and of course their St. Patrick's Day celebrations. For each big event they throw, they always provide extra porter potties, which is great since their bathrooms are small. They always make sure they have extra staff on to accommodate the masses of people. During the weekdays they have different specials when it comes to beer and food. On Tuesday nights they have trivia night, which is a blast but it starts around 9 and can go pretty late. Overall I definitely recommend TJ's if you're looking to go some where that you don't have to get dressed up for, that has a relaxed environment and stellar staff.

The ambiance is great, feels like a cross between a nice American restaurant and a steak house. The service was also prompt and very friendly. Our red wine and Guinness were good and decent portions. The salmon O'Brien was amazing. The sauce was amazing and I loved everything about it. The filet mignon as well. It was nice too how they came with a free small Caesar salad or garden salad. The chocolate cake was also a great dessert. I had heard this food was great as a caterer for years and both the food and the restaurant were awesome. Would definitely come again!

The venue is beautiful - looks like a sizable cottage from the outside with a traditional interior including spacious rooms for large groups and a full bar. Our waitress was very nice and checked in frequently to make sure everything we ordered was to our liking. In addition to their regular menu items they offer some great specials, of which we ordered some. We got an order of the Clams Casino Royale - buttery, delicious and perfectly baked. We also got their soup of the day - a creamy spinach & crab bisque which was outstanding. And for main course I ordered the cold lobster roll with sweet potato fries. The entree came with choice of green or Caesar salad which was also particularly good. My only critique was that I asked to have my leftovers wrapped up. The person who took my plate asked if I wanted what was left of my lobster roll. I said yes. When I got home the container only included my sweet potato fries which was a bummer. Despite the miscommunication about my leftovers the experience was still a good one and I'll continue to frequent this restaurant as my family has gone here for many years.

They have a great back area with additional seating, a pool table and darts. They have a solid menu with the typical bar favorites, but their food is consistently good. I have yet to be disappointed by anything on their menu. Saving the best for last, the service. The bar manager, Mike is great. You can always find the bartender Sean there on a Friday night and he'll make you feel like a regularly by remembering what you drink. The entire bar staff is solid, and they're quick and efficient even when they may be a person down. If you're looking for something fancy, this is definitely not the place for you, but if you're looking for a small, intimate dive bar with good food, this is it. The only downside is since the bar is small, the bathroom situation is rough. There's only one stall in the women's room, so if it's busy, be prepared to wait. And they could use a bit more variety when it comes to beer on tap.

Saw this place in a local coupon book I obtained during my travels, and figured I'd check it out…read moreonce I checked their pub menu, which included the elusive Irish Scotch Egg. Tale of the disappointed tape: Mac & Cheese: the description sounded great, so I gave it a shot. Unfortunately, it missed the target, as the combination of cheeses (Béchamel, Gouda, Fontina, Gruyere, Cheddar) is bland! There is no even slightly pronounced cheese taste, not even from the cheddar cheese melted on top. I had to add my own hot sauce (Frank's and Texas Pete are my savory favorites) to liven it up a bit. Irish Scotch Egg: I'd heard about the existence of this food item while watching the British show "Broadchurch," wherein it was a running gag that the David Tennant character offers his partner a bite of his Scotch Egg, and she always refuses the offer. A Scotch Egg is a soft boiled egg enrobed in a sausage shell, rolled in bread crumbs and then either baked or fried. Sounds good, doesn't it? When I saw it on their menu I had to check it out. Unfortunately, it too was also rather bland. A soft boiled egg by itself is not exactly flavorful, but the sausage here could have been, and it just wasn't. The two eggs in the order come on a bed of shredded lettuce that had spicy mayo in it, which you definitely need to help enjoy the egg. Either that, or use your favorite hot sauce, mustard, or other condiment. I may try to make this myself, using a certain brand of sausage I've always found flavorful, and/or some chorizo. Yes, that would quite possibly work . . . Pulled Pork Sliders: three pulled pork sliders are served with your choice of sauce (BBQ or other house sauce) a dollop of cole slaw (on the slider), three slices of cucumber and a spear of lettuce. This is the only item of my order that I actually enjoyed. The BBQ sauce was decent, and well complimented the pulled pork and slaw. These I would get again if I were to return to this pub. Conclusion: pulled pork sliders FTW, but Scotch Eggs and Mac & Cheese leave more to be desired.
