Music was amazing place was packed but the drinks were horrible (to me) Fast forward 2021 I came for a bridal shower and it was brunch upstairs . The staff were so friendly and helping. We went down to Bay Shore for dinner. We made a reservation and went to out stop. The place tried to put us in a table for one in the walkway to other tables. After we left, we headed over and gave Napper Tandy's a try. We were told we could choose our seat and went into the backroom. It was quieter and there was a ton of space. For our appetizer, we chose the sampler off the daily specials menu. It came with ribs, boneless wings, onion rings, and broccoli cheddar bites. The wings, bites, and rings were okay. The ribs were great. Cooked to that fall off the bone state. My meal was the Napper signature burger. I asked for the stout sauce on the side, which worked out for me as I wasn't into the sauce. The burger was a little charred, but it was still pretty good. The service was friendly. The food was okay to good. The backroom was empty, so it was quieter. Had our wedding rehearsal dinner here. Everything was great. Brendan and staff were amazing from the planning all the way to the end. We had a buffet style and everyone especially loved the napper tandys chicken with champagne sauce. Wonderful service from the wait staff. We had the back room against the patio and it was perfect. You can put images or a photo slideshow up on all the tv screens and that was a really cool feature. The room itself is beautiful and rustic with its modernized barn sliding door. Super clean and fresh. They did such a great job restoring the firehouse feel and kept the old school charm. All of our guests were really pleased with the event. Convenient parking located right in back. Definitely recommend this spot for anyone throwing a party. read more

The owner asked for my ID and stared at it for about 5 minutes while contemplating if it was real or not.. he proceeds to seperate me and my partys tables (we were a group that came together..) totally WHACK. I was so disappointed in this place. As I was trying to order my food with my sister ,son and mother I had a dog wagging his tail in my face. So my sister asked for us to be moved. Ok great they moved us right away. But what really upset me was the dog was drinking from the same bowl they feed people in. If your a dog friendly Restaurant State that where we can see it. A nice spacious space with no bad seat in the house as Tv's envelop every wall space to make sure no special moment of a sporting event is missed. The bartender (forget her name) was amazing and immediately asked what we'd like to start with. What was supposed to be a 5 min visit turned out to be a 90 min break lol. From countless hard liquor options to the beer options, one can enjoy their time here trying many different variations. The food menu was full of many offerings that looked appealing. We opted for 2 orders of wings which were so good, we doubled up after. The wings were flavorful with just enough sauce with feeling the empowerment of spice flavor, thus allowing the tender fried chicken to keep its taste. We really enjoy this location pub/restaurant. They are accommodating, helpful, kind, practicing safe distancing, etc. my wife and I and our 13month old in a stroller had just been denied service at Great South Bay Brewery because we were parents. Nappers took us in, got us a table in the shade on the patio, helped us set up our child, Served us great food and drinks for a reasonable price. We've been here 10x in the last year or so. Cool space in Bay Shore with bar staff that is awaiting your arrival unless you ask for something extra and, then you're putting them out/away from getting back to their phones. Had our engagement party in the private room at Napper Tandy's of Bayshore over this past weekend. We had a large party and the staff were attentive to all. Whenever I needed something I was always able to locate someone to help with my requests. I was very on edge being the "guest of honor" and wanting everything to be perfect for my guests, but the staff were all so patient& helpful. All of my guests raved about the party the entire night and next day. My fiancé and I couldn't have asked for a better night. We recommend this space to anyone looking to host a party of any kind. Came here for happy hour. Place is very spacious and the food was good but the service was a bit slow. Waitress gave a little bit of an attitude when we asked if they had something on tap. Beautifully redone space! Tvs are viewable from all over the room so it's a good place to go to watch a game. On weekends they have a Dj if your looking to dance. Drinks are cheap! Okay let me just say..I have grown up in the area and came here before it was Nappers. The renovation is beautiful and I was excited to check it out. Came here with my boyfriend (who is Egyptian) for the first time a few months ago to try and watch the UFC...There was an African american women sitting out front who checked our IDs as we were about to walk in a bald Caucasian bouncer came rushing outside. Re-checked our Ids and then told my boyfriend he couldn't come in because he was not in dress code...not for anything but it was completely uncalled for and I couldn't help but feel the reason why we were denied entry after already being told by the women we were fine to go in had nothing to do with wardrobe and had everything to do with racial profiling. Re-staff immediately because who ever that bouncer was (he was bald) acted completely inappropriate. Also the place was almost completely empty at the time only two people sitting at the bar. I have not even been in this place since it opened due to the fact that the bouncer looks for reasons to turn down someone I am with every time I have attempted to go inside for a drink. It is the same bouncer every single time, the bald guy, who always seems to be on a steroid raged power trip. It is absolutely disgusting how he abuses his power and even provokes altercations and fights. He has left his post many times to invoke an altercation with many different groups of people. Even the bouncers and door men at other establishments near by sees and comments on how this man acts because he doesn't hide it. A bouncer is supposed to be there to maintain order and make the place feel safe, not to invoke fear into its potential patrons and other members of the community. I will never bring my business to that place because of him and I would be grateful if he was properly disciplined. I am not one to write reviews, especially negative ones but I felt compelled in an attempt to shine a light on how this man acts and hopefully prevent someone from being a victim Of his abuse. 7/6/19- Approach the club with 3 other people and the security guard says, "its real strict and (the individual wearing a rasta cap) could not get in." He goes on to say that there are no caps allowed in his establishment. BUT, I look in and there are numerous men with baseball caps, jeans and sneakers on. I take a picture, and he ask me "why are you guys taking a picture of my establishment?" I say, its common that ppl take pictures of places they go to. He proceeds to say that he is not letting us in and we are trespassing. I take a sec, and i say, "Maybe we got off on the wrong foot. Can you tell me what just happened?" He says.... "my girlfriend is Jamaican and that is not a culture where he needs to keep on his hat. People need to get over that Bullsh!!. I turn many people away, black, white, asian. The dress code here is strict and I don't like the way the conversation is going, so you guys are not getting in here." I'm not sure who the owner is, but here is my advice, while your SECURITY guards are there to police the door and the crowd, obvious mistreatment of people can reflect negatively on your establishment. If I could give 0 stars I would just because of service I received alone. The place is nice, great beer selection, good food. However, my waitress Dana must have taken on way too many tables than she could handle. The service was terrible. It took her forever to get drinks on time for me and the table next to me and when they did arrive, she slammed them down. She actually splashed the drink on my friend and looked at us like it was our fault. The whole time she seemed like she couldn't be bothered to be working and had some place else to be. I had to ask the other waitress several times for help and received the help I needed without feeling like I was asking for the whole world. We had an engagement party here on Saturday with 72 people in the upstairs room. They could not have done a better job. Setting up the party with Brendan was very smooth and easy. He had great suggestions and was very helpful. Dealing with Katie the day of the party was very pleasant. She went out of her way to make sure everything was taken care of. The room is tastefully decorated and very comfortable with a good sized bar. The party staff were very pleasant and worked hard to ensure the party was a success. The servers were great and the bartender was excellent. The food was excellent and our guests all commented on how good the place was. We had a very successful party aided by the fine staff.
