We loved everything about this restaurant! It's big with a big open parking lot. The free bread basket has a great variety and they will give you more for free. The ambiance is great, feels like a cross between a nice American restaurant and a steak house. The service was also prompt and very friendly. Our red wine and Guinness were good and decent portions. The salmon O'Brien was amazing. The sauce was amazing and I loved everything about it. The filet mignon as well. It was nice too how they came with a free small Caesar salad or garden salad. The chocolate cake was also a great dessert. I had heard this food was great as a caterer for years and both the food and the restaurant were awesome. Would definitely come again!

Not the best steak this time around but still a good experience. We needed to push the reservation one hour on a Saturday and they were very accommodating. Quickly seated, too. Our fried calamari was great and love the house salad. Just be sure to ask for your favorite dressing as they bring out a standard creamy one that I don't like. My steak this time around wasn't the best. It was definitely overcooked and my tough to cut which was a bummer as it was phenomenal last time. But my husband enjoyed his dish and my daughter enjoyed her chicken parm. The ice cream that came with her meal was fine. The chocolate cake was nothing to rave about.

Stoped in to the Irish coffee pub on a sleepy Tuesday afternoon. I was the only one at the bar & a few groups in the dining room but the bartender John was very hospitable. It's a very classy Irish restaurant & bar inside. I just had a small app & a couple beers but I'll be back for sure.

The Irish Coffee Pub East Islip, NY @theirishcoffeepub The Irish Coffee Pub is East Islip's premier venue with the ultimate dining experience. Their elegant space is perfect for any occasion and has a warm, rustic home feeling. The restaurant offers a variety of different rooms and a great bar area, each creating their own atmosphere. Private rooms are perfect for larger groups to get some privacy! Established in 1983, you know they are doing things right over there! Here they offer both classic Irish dishes like their Dublin Style Fish & Chips, Shepard's Pie, and Corned Beef & Cabbage, as well as Black Angus steaks like their 9oz Filet Mignon, Prime Rib, and NY Sirloin. All of their entrees come with a choice of soup or salad, baked or mashed potatoes (fries or rice pilaf as well), AND a side of vegetables (absolutely love this for a steakhouse). They are also offering a 3-course Spring Chef's Choice for $65.90 - see their website for more details and selections. For dessert we finished with their amazing creme brûlée cheesecake and classic ice cream scoops. This was an amazing meal and dining experience and we highly recommend it to all of you. Come give them a try! Follow us on Instagram at @drinklongislandny for full video and many more spots!

Attended a medical conference in a nice room of windows set up for about 50. Multiple rooms that looked as quaint as grammy's tea room. The staff handled the group with ease as this seems to be a popular venue for groups & gatherings. Large parking lot, right off the highway. The standard chicken beef fish choices were prepared nicely and looked quite professional plated. While we would not visit for a regular dinner adventure, I absolutely recommend a gathering or business event here.

This was my first time after the Irish Coffee Pub, although my families been coming for years and with reason. We came for a party in the upstairs, Bay Shore FD Annual Patrol Dinner. Huge party room with dance floor, fireplace and bar. Food was fabulous, buffet style, there were servers moving swiftly about and they were super responsive to any requests. #TommyDuck was the one man band and that's all we needed. The downstairs has a warm inviting atmosphere and what sounded like a live piano playing, can't wait to come back and check it out!

    What is the dress code?

Dress nicer than you would at Applebee's, but not as nice as if you're a wedding guest. Anything that stretches is a perk bc the food is amazing and you'll most likely want to overindulge?

Fries were really crispy on point. But the most memorable thing was the sticky toffee pudding! I'm still dreaming about it! I absolutely love this place even though it was my first time I will be back many times after to try the entire menu.

It was bright and sunny outside, but traditionally dark and well worn inside. You order at the bar and they bring everything to your table. Owners were very nice as you'd expect. I got their house bitter cask ale. Very good however please note this is close to room temperature than a typical cold beer; I personally love the style and this was a good example. My son doesn't understand that British people call fries chips, so we ended up having to get him French fries and potato chips. They luckily had the latter, even if they didn't have plain ones, so we got him ketchup-flavored chips that of course he proceeded to barely eat (they were actually good). He did like the French fries/British chips, and my wife liked her breakfast sandwich even if it was a bit heavy for her. My fish and chips were really freaking good. Sizable piece of fish (haddock), nice and crisp, with a ton of chips and lots of sauces (spicy mustard, vinegar, etc). Maybe not my favorite fish and chips ever, but it hit the spot. Would come back here in a heartbeat, especially where I could relax and drink a bit more. Completely understand why they are recognized as a top bar in the US.

Our server came and took our drink orders and provided us with menus. We chose the pretzel sticks that come with beer cheese. Entrees were the chicken tenders with barbecue sauce and the heifer burger minus the jalapeños. Strawberry margaritas completed the order. The pretzel sticks are served piping hot, you can see the steam coming off them as you dip them in the great tasting cheese. The are soft any nicely salted, just the right amount of salt. The chicken tenders arrived covered in a great tasting barbecue sauce. Baby carrots, a side of extra barbecue sauce, and blue cheese completed the dish. There are plenty of tenders in the order, enough so that we took some home for another meal. The barbecue sauce was nice and tangy and complemented the tenders perfectly. The heifer burger was served on a nice soft bun alone with crispy bacon and gorgonzola cheese. Could have had more cheese for my taste but no complaints on what was done with it. The burger was cooked a perfect medium rare and it was well seasoned and very large. It came with a large portion of French fries and pickles on the side. The fries were very crispy and stayed hot throughout the meal. This was definitely a great meal. Service was very good as our server was very attentive and took good care of us. Been here before and we'll be going back. A great place with a large enough menu that everyone should find something they will like.
