He got the fiesta bowl and I got the cashew bowl and I added roasted chicken (it's shredded and has great flavor) to mine. I was obsessed with my meal and think even without the added chicken, it would've been plenty filling enough which was what I wanted. It feels light but has foods that will stick with you after eating (whole cashews, roasted cauliflower and broccoli, etc). We both felt totally full til dinner time and actually ate a bit later than usual because we still felt full. Therefore, Forage Kitchen would make a great dinner too. I also love that they allow you to put two different bases in your bowl - two servings of rice in the bowl is way too much and I love getting to add in some greens instead. I don't think I ever would have thought to combine a salad and rice bowl. It's perfection. I started with the power bowl, and now I do a make-your-own grain bowl that is basically a modified power bowl. My go-to creation is mixed greens, black rice, lentils, broccoli, carrot, goat cheese, and a protein (usually chicken) topped with the green goddess. Absolute yum. This is my go-to takeout spot. I try to order ahead because it takes forever to order in the store. I rarely eat in, but the few times I have there are plenty of tables, the place is light and clean. The bathrooms are shared with the whole building and I'm not sure if anyone tends to them, but hey it works.
