Boatwright's Dining Hall is a new restaurant for me personally and one that was delicious and I think very underrated. I do not see a lot of people talking about it. It is located at Disney's Riverside Resort which is a moderate resort so I don't think that people are running to this resort just for food, when you compare it to other higher end resorts. You do need a reservation if you are looking to park at the resort. It was not super packed when my wife and I went so you may be able to walk up and get a table. It is table service. This restaurant is not new and was here when the resort opened. My wife actually visited a few times as a child but again has not been here in years. They recently made a few changes to the menu and it was a part of the 40% discount for annual Disney passholders this summer. This is exactly why my wife and I went. 40% off dinner was awesome! You are directly next to a lounge and the quick service cafe. However, it is not very loud and you cannot tell there are two other things on the sides. They have all tables, and really feels more homey with a fireplace and such. We did make a 6:00 pm reservation, and checked in about 20 minutes early. Even though there were many many empty tables, they refused to seat us early. We even asked. They also seated us late, we were called until 6:15pm. There are no seats to wait so we really just stood there staring at them. We were both really disappointed in this. They knew we were here and most the time there were around 3-5 cast members at the check in desk, just chatting. Our server was friendly but also sort of seemed annoyed with everything. I'm sure they have been busier than normal because of the discount. She did recommend items, tried to add additional items and honestly made some good suggestions. She only came by once to check on us and we needed more water, she never filled it. We decided to try a bunch of things since we got that 40% off. Everything I have to say was delicious. We did not have anything bad to say about the food. It was great. I would pay full price for these again! They did bring some bread and butter, but the bread was cold and the butter rock solid. It would have been better warm. For appetizers, we ordered the French Onion soup and salad. The French onion soup had a rich broth and was one of the more flavorful onion soups we have tried. It was very good. The salad was topped with bacon bits and had a green goddess dressing. For entrees my wife ordered the prime rib and because of our servers suggestion, upgraded the mashed potatoes to a loaded mash potato. It was topped with cheese, bacon, green onions and sour cream. I am not a huge fan of mashed potatoes but these were really good. My wife loved them and even ate them the next day with left overs. The prime rib was a nice thick cut. Some Disney restaurants are becoming skimpy with prime rib so it was a pleasure to see a thick piece of prime rib. I ordered the Panko Crispy Chicken which came with Seasonal Risotto-style Farro and Greens. This was very crispy, had great flavor and I love the farro. I highly recommend this dish. Overall, this is a great underrated restaurant. I would suggest checking it out! ACES! read more

Boatwright's Dining Hall is such an underrated restaurant located at Disney's Riverside Resort. I would highly recommend a reservation is you are not staying here and want to park at the resort. Disney has made transportation a little more difficult recently, however, if you have a dining reservation, you are able to park at the resort, no issues. When my husband and I recently went everyone that was dining here, had a reservation. We did not notice any walk up's. This restaurant has been around for years, I remember dining here when I was a child. It has seen menu changes over the years. It recently has gotten a little boost of positivity and has been hitting the social media recently. It was also an option for 40% discount for annual Disney passholders this summer. This is what made us want to try it. My husband and I have never been here together, we got 40% off so it just made sense to try it out. We had a 6:00 pm reservation, and arrived about 20 minutes early. Despite multiple tables being empty, they would not seat us early and did not actually seat us until about 6:15pm. This was very annoying for us, but did not ruin our experience, we just felt they could have been nicer at the check in. Our server was nice, but not overly Disney, if you know what that means. She recommended items, tried to upsell us, checked on us once but that was about it. Again, for tables being empty, we thought she could have been a little better. Especially with the waters. Since we were getting a discount, we decided to order a lot of things. We started with bread and butter which was brought to the table. The bread was good, but cold. Cold butter and cold bread, it really needed to be warm. The butter was also flavored with a herb butter. For appetizers, we ordered the French Onion soup and salad. Both were fantastic. The French onion soup had a very rich broth and was full of flavor. The salad was topped with bacon bits and had a green goddess dressing. Both were really good! For entrees we ordered the prime rib and upgraded the mashed potatoes to a loaded mash potato. This is the way to do it. It was so good, I'm not even a huge fan of mashed potatoes, but I would get this every time. It was topped with cheese, bacon and sour cream. The prime rib was actually very delicious. I have had prime rib at a few Disney locations and this was one of the better ones. It was a nice thick slice as well. We also got the Panko Crispy Chicken which came with Seasonal Risotto-style Farro and Greens. Fantastic! Crispy and full of flavor. Overall, we really enjoyed this. We like to stay at Port Orleans or Riverside so I know we will be back here! Everything we had was great and very good! Service was good, we just felt it could have been better. We went here for dinner. Reservations are important if you don't want to wait for a potential opening. We were seated within 10 minutes of our reservation time. Service was great, let's quickly get that out of the way. I ordered the Taste of the Bayou All-You-Care-To-Enjoy Platter (Hickory-smoked Pork Ribs, Barbecue Spice Baked Chicken, Beef Brisket, Mashed Potatoes, Macaroni & Cheese, and Seasonal Vegetable with Sautéed Corn with Bacon); and the wife ordered the Roasted Prime Rib (Slow-roasted Prime Rib topped with Cajun Butter served with Mashed Potatoes and Seasonal Vegetable). She also ordered a wedge salad. Everything, I mean EVERYTHING, on our plates was fantastic and perfectly cooked. My pork ribs, brisket and chicken were all moist and full of flavor! So much so that I ordered a second helping of each! The mashed potatoes, mac & cheese and veggies were all tasty (lots of flavor) as well, but I came for the meats! The wife's prime rib, which was larger than expected, was a perfect medium rare, tender to the point of nearly melting on your mouth (I got to sample it and she ate the whole darn thing). WDW can really pull off the good eats aspect a majority of the time. We both agreed we would definitely eat here again and highly recommend this place. read more

Pleasantly surprised. Decided to dine here because we were staying at the resort. Service was excellent, which is what I expect from Disney. Pimento cheese fritters were good and spicy. The shrimp pappardelle was very flavorful. My husband enjoyed the panko crispy chicken, but not the gouda potatoes. The server immediately offered a replacement and took the potatoes off the bill. The restaurant is surprisingly quiet considering it is nestled between the lobby and food court. After dinner, we enjoyed cocktails and Yeehaw Bob's show at the River Roost. read more

My family had been coming to Port Orleans and Boatwright's since opening and we have seen so many iterations of this restaurant. Although not as good as it once was, it still provides a solid meal experience. Service is always great (Kerri our waitress has also worked here since opening and was fantastic) and usually quick to be seated. The theming of the restaurant is cozy and fun, feeling like you are in the middle of a ship being built. The cornbread was always a favorite of mine but has been replaced my ciabatta bread. Not the vibe for a southern style cuisine! Bring back the cornbread!!! Our family had salmon, and jambalaya . Both were well cooked and seasoned! I loved the food, ambiance and service here. The bourbon/whiskey flight was also really good. I had the plant-based option which was lentils and 'chorizo and it was really tasty. The portions are a little small but the flavor is jam packed. You also get complementary ciabatta bread with (plant-based) butter. I got the sundae for my kids for their side and I was happy that they had the plant-based option. Our waitress was really nice and accommodating. Overall, this is a must when you're at Disney, or resort hopping. Make sure you don't miss the complementary s'mores campfire behind the pool at the Riverside between 6-7 pm. read more

We really enjoyed it! We ordered the jambalaya and shrimp and grits and they were delightful! The jambalaya had a perfect amount of chicken and shrimp and sausage in a rich and savory sauce. The rice was cooked perfectly! The shrimp and grits were creamy and with nice plump shrimp and that gravy....chef's kiss! The restaurant was spacious and wasn't too loud but did have a slight wait so make a reservation if you can. Service was decent. Nothing to write home about as I think our male server was a bit elderly and hard of hearing. The only negative I want to say about the food was unfortunately the temperature. Fantastic food and wonderful service! We got there 20 min prior to our reservation to check-in on the app (but you need to be close to the restaurant). We walked around the grounds for about 30 min before getting a text. Immaculately clean, beautifully themed and extremely well maintained. Saw a few otters on the grounds too! Located in the lobby of the Riverside Port Orleans my expectations were low, but it was quite pleasant experience. We had a friendly server and the food came out quick. Our waitress was fantastic! They made accommodations for me as I have to be on a lot of lightning for my vestibular issues. The pimento fritters were excellent. The french onion soup was absolutely disappointing. There was so much cheese embedded into the soup that there was absolutely no broth and no onions that made it actual French onion soup. We ended up taking it back. They offered us a new one and wanted to ride. It was the same exact thing all cheese, no broth no onions. We ordered the fried chicken and it was really good. They did homemade mashed potatoes with it and the veggies had a bite to it, but it wasn't seasoned very well. Other than that, it was very spacious. This was day 1 of our 40% off annual pass holder "world tour". Ok, Disney World tour. We ordered: Bread - ciabatta bread served with chimichurri butter Appetizer - French Onion Soup Au Gratin, Chicken and Rice Soup (kids menu) Mains - Taste of the Bayou All-You-Care-To-Enjoy Platter, Roasted Prime Rib* Dessert - Bourbon Chocolate Cake Bread - ciabatta bread served with chimichurri butter - the bread was fine, but we were not a fan of the chimichurri butter. We requested some plain butter instead which was of course fine. Appetizer - French Onion Soup Au Gratin - sadly we are 0 or 2 on soups this trip (see my Coral Reef Restaurant at EPCOT review). This was waaayyy to salty. I know it is onion soup and will be salty. And my wife is generally not a fan of salty stuff. But I also tried it and I usually don't mind some extra salt. It was wwaaaayyy too salty even for me. She got it replaed with the kids Chicken and Rice Soup which was actually pretty good, but ironically bland and needed salt and pepper. We understand it being bland because it is meant for kids. Mains - Taste of the Bayou All-You-Care-To-Enjoy Platter - ok, I'm a fan of barbecue and have even been known to make some decent stuff at home. The chicken was the best part - tender, juicy, and delicious. Too bad I want the other stuff. Mac and Cheese was fine. Mashed potatoes also fine. The first batch of ribs and brisket I got were pretty good. I think the brisket was from the big end (wet end) that is fattier and generally juicier. I request a reorder from the big end twice but failed. They gave me stuff from the small end (dry end) that was dry, firm, and not great. And the second batch of ribs were not great. The "Seasonal Vegetable with Sautéed Corn with Bacon" was a pile of corn with a couple of green beens and bacon hidden through it. Roasted Prime Rib - my wife really liked the prime rib. She ordered it rare, and it was mostly medium-rare which we expected. She gave me a couple rare-ish pieces which I thought were good. And she overall liked the prime rib. Dessert - Bourbon Chocolate Cake - my wife loves chocolate cake, and this was very good. As you can see from teh picture it is a pretty decent slice. We didn't finish it and enjoyed it the next day. Our wait person Gia was great. She was very friendly, kept drinks refilled, and handled our issue with the onion soup very well. And she even tried to get me some better brisket which I appreciated. Maybe we'll be back under the 40% off annual pass discount. I'm not sure we would be for 10% or no discount. Especially with it being at a hotel that we have to go to instead of in park dining our return is less likely. read more

Growing up, we stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter a few times. Later we stayed at riverside a few times but never ate at boatwrights. We finally made it over with the help of a discount thru DVC. It's a cozy restaurant that isn't super loud or busy. All of the staff were friendly. My sister started off with the French onion soup. It was a huge bowl and tasted great. She was nice enough to let me give it a try. I would definitely order that myself next time. For dinner I did the all you can eat taste of the bayou. The chicken that came with it was kind of tough. It had great seasoning but seemed like it had sat for awhile. The brisket also was just ok. The sausage wasn't spicy and was very good. The ribs were great too. I did order additional brisket to enjoy. It was a ton of food and a nice variety. For Disney pricing, it's not a bad deal. I hope to return here. read more

We're staying at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside and decided to check out Boatwright's Dining Hall for dinner, and so glad we did! The meal started off strong with the complimentary cornbread, which was warm, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. My husband and I shared the French onion soup and it was rich, cheesy, and probably one of the best we've ever had. For our main course, we both went with the all-you-can-enjoy "Taste of the Bayou" and it did not disappoint. Everything from the ribs to the brisket and sausage was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. Liz, our server, was fantastic, super friendly and kept everything coming at just the right pace. To finish it off, we shared the praline bourbon bread pudding and it was the perfect sweet ending to a great meal. This casual yet cozy New Orleans-inspired dining experience on Disney property is really great value. Portions are huge and the service is amazing. Shout out to Gia our awesome waitress. We've come several times and continue to enjoy consistent quality from their dishes. The French onion soup is on point, and crazy cheesy, be ready to pull that melty goodness. We also love that they give you corn bread and whipped butter to start! Prime rib is huge and done nicely, they will even do it blackened if you ask. Shrimp and grits are dynamite with a creamy wine sauce and huge shrimp. The all you care to eat platter has a lot of different items like chicken, corn, grits, and brisket. Mac and cheese was not the best but plenty of other great features on the plate. Get the banana cream pie cheesecake if you want dessert, not too heavy but the caramelized bananas and silky cheesecake were a perfect thing to share at the end of the meal. You can book reservations and park at the resort easily or even take the bus if you're at a park. Take a look at this spot next time you're craving Cajun or comfort food in Orlando. read more

I love visiting new Disney resorts when I visit Friends because they each have their own theming and flare. Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter try to create the feel of the bayou with it's architecture, music, and culinary offerings. Boatwright's is a good size, full service restaurant at Riverside that has some interesting vegan offerings including an appetizer salad, an entree, and a dessert. Due to the heat, I decided to have a cocktail in the ajoining bar, River's Roost, before my dinner reservation. Once seated in the restaurant, I had a lovely view of a large ship's hull and the rustic dining room. My well-versed server, Amara, asked about my dietary needs and quickly offered their vegan cornbread. The little, golden nuggets came out warm with spreadable Earth Balance spread. Amazing! I went with the Jambalaya Farro salad which was topped with fried artichokes and had olives and Farro (a sparce amount). I mentioned the lack of Farro and Amara quickly brought out a small ramekin with more, making the salad perfect! Loved the remoulade dressing which was a perfect pairing and just the right amount. I finished my meal with one of my range things in the world - pecan pie. The tart was drizzled with chocolate and accompanied with vanilla gelato. The only think that would've made it better would've been the tart being warmed up a bit or even room temp. It's served fairly cold which doesn't do the pecans justice. I still ate down to the plate! I would love to try the vegan entree, Creole Lentils & "Chorizo", but it sounded heavier than I wanted in the warm April weather. Maybe next time. Unfortunately, our visit was not a great experience. We had made a reservation for 7pm. The area in front of the host stand was crowded. Guests wishing for their reservations, a lot of foot traffic because it's also in the same area of the main hallway leading to the quick service and right in front of the double doors that lead to the boats. Area was just so busy. There was only 1 person taking reservations, calling names, and preparing the menus. We were called 15 mins after our reservation. Our waitress was okay. Very quick to stop and move on to the next table. There was a complementary loaf of cornbread and some honey butter. We ordered the AYCE platter. Everything on the plate tasted like it's been sitting under a heat lamp for awhile. The brisket was overcooked with a pathetic slab of bbq sauce. The fried chicken tenders were hard to eat because they were very overcooked and not crispy at all. The mashed potato had a clear film over it. The ribs were fall of the bone but again, it looked like the bbq sauce was literally squeezed on like ketchup on a hotdog. The corn was over cooked and soggy. Everything was just a disappointment, unfortunately. The best thing were the green beans. read more

Have never been here, but they had an open reservation and we were staying on property. So that's how we ended up here. A lot of the entrees come with shrimp, but it can be removed (shellfish allergy). The jambalaya (w/o shrimp) was wonderful. A lot of food. I couldn't finish it. Had good heat. They have an all you care to eat platter with a lot of different meats, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes, and more. It's pricey, but if you want a lot of protein, go for it. Drinks are served in jars. The free cornbread is pretty good! Boatwright decor is nice. Try to sit on the second/elevated floor. I wouldn't say I'd go back here again, but mostly just due to the family not having a lot of options that they'd enjoy. read more

I hadn't been to Boatwright's in like 25 years, but with the special annual passholder discount they were offering, I had to make a trip. We had a great weeknight outing. Why's it called Boatwright's? A boatwright is a ship builder. The entire restaurant is designed to look like a boat-building warehouse. Hanging above the lower part of the dining room is a life-size shell of a boat. In the upper part of the dining room, there are ship-building tools hanging from the walls. There's your history lesson for the day. We checked in for our reservation and were seated very quickly. We sat in the upper seating area, which I'm glad we did because it's more aesthetically pleasing. It feels like something that should be in Fort Wilderness with its old timey feel, tools on the wall, and fireplace. We were given a complimentary loaf of cornbread to start. Can I just say that it was one of the best -- if not THE best -- cornbreads I've ever had? Maybe it's because of the sugar, but dammit it was PERFECTION. After polishing off the first loaf, we were asked if we wanted a second. Do we want it? Absolutely. Would we eat it all? Again, absolutely. Are we going to order it? We'd better not. We already had a Pimento Cheese Fritter appetizer on the way. The fritters were good, but next time I'd just order a second loaf of amazing cornbread. My partner asked our server which was less spicy: the jambalaya or the shrimp & grits. She didn't even hesitate and said the shrimp & grits. Preferring spicy, I ordered the jambalaya, which is what I had already planned on ordering anyway. The jambalaya definitely was a bit spicy, but I enjoyed it overall. Could it have been less dry? Yes. Could the skewered shrimp have been less overcooked? Yes. But it all had a good flavor to it...and a lot of meat between the shrimp, chicken, and sausage. It's a meat-lover's dish. The service was great, as was the food. It was a nice evening out when we would have stayed home otherwise if it wasn't for the special annual passholder discount. Wow! My husband and I are there 30 years ago in our anniversary and love it and it was every bit as good this time as it was then. The servers were outstanding... friendly, happy and full of great tips and info! The food was amazing. It was the best cornbread on the Disney property in my opinion and they will bring you as much as you want. The vegetables and sides are seasonal, fresh and cooked to perfection. I questioned hostess at 30 minutes after seeing others arriving and being seated ahead of us and the result was another 12 minutes despite the Disney app touting a 10 minute wait for walk ups. I think we both expected more for the price and how the things were worded, it sounded like this was going to be a once in a life time experience... and it was just okay. Now, the prime rib, that was DELICIOUS! It was very tender... and the bed of potatoes that it was on... 10/10!!! My husband got the taste of the bayou and it came with a lot of things... but again, it was just okay. It is an all you care to eat on the meal he got so when he was done with something on the plate, the waiter asked if he wanted more of something and to my surprise, he declined. He loves this type of food but wasn't impressed by it. The ribs were tender, but no flavor. The brisket was very dry. The Mac n cheese, not good. The sausage, delicious. The chicken tenders, it was a chicken tender. And the green beans, very bland. The cornbread was pretty good. I'm not knocking it because my food was good. A while ago, we had dinner at Boatwrights in Port Orleans Riverside and then went to the French Quarter for beignets. Everything was delicious. For drinks, I had the Hurricane and my wife had a glass of pinot gris. The Hurricane was not as sweet as the ones from Pat O'Briens in New Orleans, which I appreciated. We started with the Mardi Gras Fritters. They were crispy with gooey pimiento cheese, topped with a pepper jelly. Perfect balance of texture and flavor. I had the Jambalaya. It was fantastic, loaded with andouille sausage and topped with grilled shrimp. Perfect amount of heat. My wife had the shrimp and grits. Very creamy with just a hint of heat. Dinner came with a small loaf of cornbread with honey butter. For dessert we went over to Scat Cat's Cafe for beignets. Powdered sugar coated pieces of pillowy goodness! Loved returning to Boatwright's a year after our last visit. Our table ordered the pimento cheese fritters, roasted prime rib (two orders), the grilled salmon, and the bread pudding dessert. The prime rib was what we came for, as we had it last year and loved it enough to return. When you're first seated, they provide you with a cornbread loaf that is served with honey butter. That was very tasty. Just like other Disney restaurants, you are given paper straws for your drinks. They do have sweet tea if that is your drink of choice. The bread pudding was served in a petite cast iron skillet and had a nice scoop of vanilla bean ice cream on top. The inside of Boatwright's is very cozy and inviting. They have stroller parking inside the restaurant at the front, so no wet strollers after your meal. There is the hull of a wooden boat that is the main focal point of the restaurant. The bathrooms are in the bar area, and they still have a dedicated small sink for small hands. I love that touch in all of the Disney bathrooms we entered. We've always made reservations in advance which cut down our wait time drastically by the time we arrived at the restaurant. When we return to Disney in the future, Boatwright's is definitely a place we will return to. read more

How can you be a C Mississippi River themed restaurant in Port Orleans and not offer Shrimp and Grits along with Cornbread? Back in January 2026 the management chose to remove these two staples. Our waitstaff tonight was great as usual! After going to Boatright's for past five years at least twice a year, it's sad to know the management is taking away Southern/Cajun classics. Wow, I'm glad we took a night walk along the river and ended up here! The Boatwright's dining hall is super underrated. We didn't find it on any list of top recommended eats at Disney World, but I'd certainly stop by if you're staying in one of the resorts in the area. My husband & I came here to eat the Taste Of The Bayou All-You-Care-To-Enjoy Platter. It includes Hickory-smoked Pork Ribs, Crispy Cajun Chicken, Smoked Sausage, Barbecued Beef Brisket, Mashed Potatoes, Mac & Cheese, Roasted Corn with Cajun Butter, cornbread & butter, and Seasonal Vegetables. Everything was really delicious. We also had cocktails, which were excellent.... Cold brew martini & pineapple Mule. We also ordered pimento cheese fritters, which were ok. Our waitress was really nice. This is a really cute looking restaurant. We would definitely come back here if we ever stayed at this Disney Resort again. read more

We stayed in the resort in the beginning of March, 2024. Our first night we went to Boatwright's for dinner. There was a little bit of a wait (about 15 minutes) at 7pm The interior is very nice. They had the fireplace going. Very comfortable with a nautical theme. The server was excellent! Very nice. Very well-informed. He had great advice on what we should order. He was very attentive too. He brought out some cornbread for us to enjoy before our food arrived. I am not a huge cornbread fan, but this was the best cornbread I've ever had! So moist and sweet. Not grainy or dry or bland. Just perfect! Try to not fill up on it! I ordered the blackened salmon with dirty rice and steamed green beans for my dinner. It was an actual blackened salmon. A lot of places say they have blackened salmon, but it's not. This was, and it was cooked to perfection. Very soft, tender, juicy, and full of flavor! If you want to eat healthy, this is a great option. My sister ordered the fish boil. She loved it. Ate every bite! It looked and smelled really good. Plenty of garlic in it. My nephew ordered the Cajun fried chicken with mashed potatoes. We were told by our waiter that they have amazing mashed potatoes and he wasn't lying! We all tried them and they were excellent! Like your grandma used to make. Even though my nephew is only 10, and ordered from the adult menu, he still ate every bite of his meal. No leftovers for us! Our meal was reasonably priced. It was the perfect amount. We really enjoyed everything about our meal and will definitely be back again. I highly recommend this place if you're staying in resort. read more

Dined at The Boatwrights, which is located in Disneys Port Orleans Riverside Resort. It's a southern hospitality type restaurant overlooking the Sassagoula River. One of their meals is called Taste of the Bayou which is a $36 all-you-care-to-enjoy meal. Cornbread to kick it off and the dish itself includes smoked ribs, cajun chicken, smoked sausage, barbecued beef brisket, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, roasted corn with cajun butter, and seasonal vegetables. Decent wholesome meal that filled me up fast. I defiantly had a second helping of the mac and cheese which is some of the best around property. I will note that the ribs have sauce but some might find the dry rub to be a bit too peppery. The fried chicken is also tender style and not bone in. The brisket could be better, as it was dry and sliced very thin. Was too full for dessert, but a quick walk by the river you could hit up French Quarter for the beignets! Cozy atmosphere with low lighting, fast service, would dine again - Thumbs up! read more

Don't go out of your way to eat here, but it's ok if you're staying at the resort. The best thing here is the cornbread. It comes free with the meal and it is seriously delicious. The rest I found ho hum. I got a dirty martini with vodka and it was too dirty, tasted mainly of olive juice. When I got the second one I asked if they could make it slightly less dirty. I should have asked them to make it a lot less dirty, because it still wasn't great. Note to self, if we ever come back I should ask for it slightly dirty. We started with the French Onion soup and it was pretty good, no complaints there. The Prime Rib was very fatty (which I love). My husband thought it was just ok. We added a skewer of shrimp and it was super spicy! I wasn't expecting that and next time should skip it. My son got fried chicken tenders and fries (both not on the menu). They were fatter fries and not that good. The ones at the food court were surprisingly better. I'm not a huge fan of the ambiance here. It honestly just felt like the rustic countryside. Nothing really screams Disney (which some people might like). I would have rather it been themed to the manor vibe of Port Orleans, but that's just me. Overall I wouldn't stop anyone from eating here, but I'll only go back if others want to. read more

Even with annual pass holders locking down most of the reservations, they were so generous at communicating with us and ACCOMMODATING us for a party of 2 (late in the night) as a walk up. It feels refreshing when you expect to be treated like a guest and you actually are. Great chicken!!! read more

This was the first time I had tried Boatwright's. The food was really good and got to the table really quickly. ! But the service was quite lacking. It was a weekend evening... but wasn't overly busy. Our waitress, Christina, was struggling all night! She seemed to be in pain physically which put her in a sour mood. She was short on answers to any question we had! She was perturbed when we had to send a drink back because it was poured too heavily at the bar. She failed to ask if we had an annual pass holder discount and was then upset that she had to Re-calculate the bill. If you aren't happy in the service industry then You shouldn't be part of the waitstaff at a large restaurant! It doesn't make a good first impression. The restaurant had live music the night I was there. It was extremely loud ... so much so that it was difficult to hear the person directly across the table from you! read more
