So when we are in Orlando and overwhelmed with Disney pricing, we figure for the same price we can get a great AUCE lobster buffet in a "real world" restaurant! We've been here before and while it's not entirely inexpensive, it is priced well for what it is. Though it IS a buffet, the lobster itself is served to you one at a time. Good call! The rest of the food offerings are of really good variety and you should find plenty to enjoy here, including cute tasty desserts. Standouts are seafood casserole, cornbread, seafood/shellfish of all types and many salads, sushi rolls, a variety of fish preparations, etc. The drink specials are fun, but will still pad the bill, so we abstained. The staff were all personable and hardworking, with the bar-staff pulling double duty on the floor and still cheerful about it. One HUGE table left a paltry cheap tip for the poor guy, so we gave extra. Don't b a D*CK, people! Restrooms are fine and the wait was minimal. Parking is great on site, at no charge. Yay! So we live in the area and we were just looking for some all you can eat seafood. We've heard about this place but never tried it. The food choices were amazing. The raw oysters were good, lobster was good. The crab legs were a little overcooked. Hence the 4 star review. Our server was really good. Kept the drinks full and was great to chat with. Decided to give Boston Lobster Feast a try my 43rd birthday. We were in town for Universal and visiting friends. Met up with some friends and their daughter. The buffet was pretty awesome. This is one of the very few places that you can eat your fill of lobster. I have been to the (few) local places that exist: lighthouse lobster feast (now defunct), Boston Lobster feat, east Irlo Bronson (now closed) Boston Lobster Feast International (not as good), and my favorite, Boston Lobster Feast west Irlo Bronson (this one). First of all, these are the Maine lobster species, cold water, even though technically, they come from Canada, as they are just under a pound. They still taste wonderful when steamed or boiled. As long as you know how to eat them, it doesn't make a *huge* difference as to the size, as it's a but more work for a smaller bug (what lobsters are called in Maine, hence the Volkswagen bug with the lobster out front.), but the meat is more tender and a bit sweeter than in a larger lobster. The waitstaff was attentive, manager stopped by to say hi, and it was a very welcoming atmosphere. Save your money and do not go here. This restaurant is horrible. The crab legs were all filled with salt water. Literally, every time you cracked one open, salt water came out and the meat was mushy. Outside of getting a few lobsters and maybe two plates of crabs, I did not get seconds on any other food there. The sushi was far from fresh. I need to give them the entirety of the 5 stars on this review. This is exactly where I want to be on vacation. Clean restaurant. Great food. Even better service. I arrived here on a Friday night hungry. We had made a reservation but it looked like we didn't need it. The restaurant was very spacious and I've been to their other location before which is much smaller. This restaurant looked pretty new to me. If it's not, then they're doing a great job maintaining it. We were seated immediately and our server came over to take our drink order. We got started on the buffet and loved the variety of seafood present. I started on the chilled side - cold lobster claws, raw oysters, chilled crawfish. Then I noticed that they had crawfish in boiled spices. I tried that after but preferred the chilled crawfish. There were plenty of sides and I enjoyed the mac and cheese. When I tried the steamed lobster - I was pretty excited that it was an entire large lobster with the body and claws. It was a bit of a pain to break down the whole thing but it was fresh. I also had the last slice of prime rib and it was not good. It was old and tough. I ended up having to dispose it and got a fresh one that just came out. That cut was delicious. All of these items I ate made me feel like the high price was worth it. We liked how they had someone bussing tables throughout the entirety of our time there. We also liked how they had a photographer come around and take pictures. I remember they use to be free. It turned out we did get a 4x6 for free but they also printed them larger and charged 2 for $30 for those. We bought them because they were nice pictures. Well, let's start our first with I get to the buffet the prime rib station is there but they said they don't have any no explanation of all we ran out or something happened. The lobster was almost inedible. The crab legs were so soft that you could barely crack the shelves and had very little meat in them. It seemed like they took out a lot of the larger sections maybe for some of the seafood salads because they all seemed very thin. The rest of the seafood selection was very small. They had a few fried items and some shrimp cocktail a few muscles, which I didn't want to taste because I tasted a couple of the oysters and they were not very appealing. However, for it being the Boston Lobster fest you would think the lobster would be amazing and it was subpar. We went to Boston Lobster Feast in Kissimee FL last week. For 67.00 per person, it was not worth it. The display of food was terrible. Nothing like the pictures. The lobster was giving to you one at a time and they were missing claws, once you break the shell you had to clean all the red, green and orange crap out yourself which was disgusting. The crab legs were soft and hollow. The prime rib was raw. ( I wish I would have taken a picture) The entire selection was bad and not worth the money. I can't believe anyone actually likes this place. The food is practically inedible. The first thing that tipped me off to how big a mistake I made going here was that the "butter" isn't real. The lobster was old and tough. The clams were sandy. The ribs were gnarly. The only passable food was the clam chowder and fried food. Even the chicken tenders were the driest I've ever had. It was rare that we had to ask for anything because she made sure that all of our needs were met before we even asked. She was highly attentive and kind. The lobsters were cooked to perfection.
